Chapter 249: The Birth of Space Hell and the New Laws Mastered by Aether!

Rhea's favoritism was, in fact, quite obvious.

No joke!

Back in the day, Kronos, much like Hades now, had made extensive preparations. However, many of those plans and methods were left unused—either sealed away or casually discarded.

But here's the thing!

Were Kronos' preparations really that useless? No! On the contrary, they were quite remarkable, as evidenced by the current situation.

Aether had absorbed the Heart of Space and transformed into a God-King.

Back then, before Kronos became an Ancient God and mastered his Ultimate Power, he had the ambition to control the sky, earth, sea, underworld, and, if necessary, even the Star Realm, using these five domains as the core to evolve into a God-King.

Although this plan was eventually abandoned, only Rhea knew about it—no one else was aware!

Rhea knew far too much and had planned extensively. It's no exaggeration to say that if Rhea wanted to, and if the path ahead was clear, she could have trained seven or eight, or even ten, God-King-level subordinates for Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus.

But!

As a mother, Rhea was undeniably biased. Apart from Hades and Hestia, her other four children barely held her attention or concern.

This wasn't surprising. Rhea had the most contact with Hades, and to Rhea, Hades always treated her with respect. No matter the circumstances, even in the final moments when her time was fading, Hades always approached her as a son.

At all times.

Hades never displayed his God-King persona in front of Rhea but instead interacted with her as a son. After arriving in the underworld, Hestia, with her almost reclusive personality, also endeared herself to Rhea.

This explains why Rhea stayed in the underworld, uninterested in her other four children. Everyone had seen Rhea, but as a mother, how could she not sense their attitudes?

Of course!

Initially, Hades had no ulterior motives—this was simply the result of his genuine respect as a son. Even though he stood on an opposing side, he still upheld the respect due to his parents.

This was just Hades' nature. However, in the Greek pantheon, Hades' behavior was quite unique, and it brought great joy to Rhea. What a good child she had!

"Hmm..."

Rhea softly murmured, "Hemera seems unable to advance further without the right methods. The best approach might lie with Cerus. As a ghost god, His Majesty seems to have some ideas?"

Rhea was contemplating many things—these were all strategies left by Kronos. Again, no one else knew about these plans, but Rhea knew them all!

"Earth, Water, Fire, and Wind."

"The Earth Serpent, crafted by the Mother Goddess, is already the perfect Earth Beast."

"As for Water, Fire, and Wind..."

"Hmm..."

"I might have some thoughts on Water. I'll look into it later. There are some records, but regarding Fire and Wind?"

Rhea shook her head. Her husband's notes on these were scarce, and she didn't have much understanding.

However!

She did have some knowledge of a water beast that could rival the Earth Serpent. If she had to name one, the most famous beast associated with water and representing one of the Seven Deadly Sins, Envy, would be Leviathan.

It's worth mentioning that in the Infernal Realm of the Mythical World, one of the collaborators of the seventy-two demon gods and one of the seven infernal lords, Belial, represents Sloth, another of the Seven Deadly Sins.

Rhea pondered over many things, her thoughts tangled and complex.

Meanwhile.

The transformations in the underworld hadn't ceased—they were just entering a steady phase.

The Space Star created by Aether was undergoing a transformation. During the previous enhancement of the underworld, the Space Star had already begun evolving into a hellish realm.

Now!

With Aether's complete ascension as the master of the Star Realm, the Space Star had become the brand-new Space Hell. Much like the Contract Hell, it had merged into the underworld's system, becoming part of it.

Originally, each planet created by the underworld gods was, to be blunt, a burden on the underworld. Although created by underworld gods, these planets required management from the underworld and provided no feedback.

Only Mephistopheles' Contract Hell, also a hell but independent from the eight major hells of the underworld, was able to provide feedback to the underworld.

The underworld and the Star Realm both provided feedback to the World Tree, while the Contract Hell fed back into the underworld. This was like a supply chain, where each link was connected.

For now, the Contract Hell was the lowest link, connected to the underworld.

The Space Star created by Aether, now transformed into Space Hell, was also connected to this lowest link, becoming something that could contribute rather than just a useless planet created by an underworld god as a residence.

As Space Hell emerged, each underworld god instantly noticed the difference.

The entire underworld gradually returned to calm.

Aether, floating in the Star Realm, quietly felt the new laws he had mastered.

The Law of Space.

This was the law Aether had always mastered. Of course, he still wielded it now—there was no doubt about that. But for Aether now, the core was that after becoming the master of the Star Realm, he had grasped two additional laws.

The Law of Stars.

The Law of the Universe.

These two laws were like higher-tier versions of the Law of Space. However, that's just a saying; laws themselves aren't ranked by status.

As long as it's a law, you can master it to the same level, regardless of rank.

But!

For gods, it's not necessarily better to master more laws. For instance, when Hades first became the God of the Underworld, he mastered too many laws, making each level of advancement a painstaking process as he had to elevate all these laws to that level.

It was almost an impossible situation. Now, the three laws Aether mastered could be integrated into a single "Law of Stars"!
