Space.
Stars.
The Universe.
These three laws are highly unique, and when combined, they form the special Law of Stars.
This law is exceptional, much like how Uranus and Kronos were at their birth, both mastering unique laws.
Uranus mastered the Law of the God-King and the Law of the Sky.
Kronos mastered the Law of the God-King and the Law of Space.
Similarly, Hades with the Law of the Underworld, Poseidon with the Law of the Sea Emperor, and Zeus with the Law of the Sky Emperor.
These are all examples of the special composite laws that each God-King wields. In fact, mastering a composite law is almost a fundamental characteristic of becoming a God-King.
Of course!
To put it another way, in a sense, mastering a composite law could be seen as a shortcut to becoming a God-King. Even though Mephistopheles and Moira have ascended to the level of God-Kings, they still control the Law of Contracts and the Law of Fate.
And Hyperion? The Law of the Sun dominates everything.
Which is stronger?
Which is better?
There's no definitive answer. The power of the law isn't in the type but in how it's wielded. Independent laws have their own unique strength, while composite laws offer their own intricate benefits.
This subtlety is hard to put into words, and at this moment, Aether was rapidly mastering the Law of Stars.
Moreover!
The Law of Stars doesn't just encompass the Law of Space, the Law of the Universe, and the Law of Stars—it's only the foundation. As Aether continues to grow into a full-fledged God-King, more complex laws will naturally be integrated into it.
This is similar to Hades in the past, who, without reclaiming his original power, forcibly advanced to the level of a Chief God. It was something that seemed utterly impossible and beyond belief.
Imagine someone burdened with hundreds or even thousands of laws, and yet Hades managed to ascend to the level of a Chief God, dragging all those laws with him. It's an achievement that defies imagination.
It's like a hidden class in a game where leveling up requires ten times the experience, but in return, your combat power is also ten times greater. That's the biggest difference.
"..."
"The Law of Stars."
"A special, brand-new, and perfect law."
Aether felt the perfection of this Law of Stars, and a unique expression flickered across his face as he gradually calmed down.
"Next, I'll slowly comprehend and stabilize the Law of Stars, and then continue to expand the Star Realm."
Aether gazed across the entire Star Realm, a wide smile on his face. Aside from the 365 stars that were nurturing star gods, more stars were slowly forming, and the Star Realm was gradually expanding outward.
This process might take a long time, but no matter how long it takes, as long as progress is made, it's enough. As for those 108 demon stars?
Well!
They were like ancestors, greedily absorbing the star power of the Star Realm. It was as if they were lounging on Aether's sofa, holding his wife, while he still had to serve them tea.
Aether could only smile at this. It was fine; the demon stars' growth represented an increase in Lord Hades' power, and that was the most important thing.
In fact!
The demon stars themselves were restrained, absorbing only 30% of the power, leaving the remaining 70% to Aether for expanding the Star Realm, creating stars, and nurturing star gods.
Aether thought to himself, "Seventy percent? What have I done to deserve that? Even one-tenth would be enough."
"Hmm?"
Suddenly, Aether sensed something. The next moment, he opened the gates of the underworld and left.
Seeing this, the other underworld gods also departed. They all knew that Aether had been summoned by Lord Hades, so they returned to their duties.
**Elysian Fields.**
Hades sat on his throne as Aether stepped through the gates of the underworld. Kneeling respectfully on one knee, he said, "Aether greets Lord Hades."
"Rise," Hades said calmly.
Aether stood respectfully, unable to hide the joy in his eyes. No matter how he tried to suppress it, the elation of breaking through to the level of a God-King was indescribable.
Hades asked quietly, "Aether, how do you feel about reaching the level of a God-King?"
"Lord Hades!" Aether tried to control his excitement, maintaining a posture of elegance and respect as he replied, "It feels perfect. One cannot imagine the wonder of this level until they've crossed the threshold..."
Hades remained composed, "As the master of the Star Realm within the underworld, know that the underworld is not a complete world. You've only just reached the weakest level of a God-King. Much remains to be done."
"Yes!"
Aether said nothing more. It wasn't necessary. The biggest difference between a God-King and a mortal king is that a God-King doesn't need to swear loyalty constantly.
It's irrelevant. To be blunt, whether you're loyal or not, the God-King knows better than you do—your divine heart is in their hands.
"Aether, as the master of the Star Realm and now a God-King of the underworld, you should sense that the Star Realm is enhancing because of your presence, and this enhancement will feed back into the World Tree."
"Yes!"
Aether suppressed his excitement, speaking gravely, "Lord Hades, I've already felt it. Both the underworld and the Star Realm are feeding back into the World Tree. However, the efficiency is still insufficient because the underworld's essence isn't strong enough."
"The underworld..."
Hades murmured the word, seemingly lost in thought as he looked at Aether.
Aether remained silent. Compared to his brothers Hypnos and Thanatos, Aether was actually more remarkable. However, his personality was such that he never fought for anything.
His quick return to calm after reaching the God-King level demonstrated how tranquil Aether's mind truly was. His temperament was extraordinary.
And!
Since Lord Hades had not spoken further, Aether waited quietly, ready to follow Hades' orders. Sometimes, being obedient is more important than anything else!
