Chapter 307: The Crown of the God-King Enters the Underworld, Hades Casually Tosses it to Hestia for Fun

The gods of the Underworld were wrapping things up.

As the Underworld gods finished handling everything in the mortal realm, an infinite light burst forth from the temples—the radiant light of the God-King's Crown.

In the next moment, the Crown traced a brilliant and beautiful arc across the sky, heading straight for the far north, and within moments, it entered the Temple of the Underworld.

This single moment told all the gods who the ruler would be for the next ten million years. A new ruler of the mortal realm had been born, marking the beginning of a new era under the third generation of god-kings—an era that would be initiated by the ruler of the Underworld.

In the Underworld,

In the Elysian Fields,

Hades sat upon his throne, slowly opening his eyes. From his throne emanated a dazzling light, and within that light appeared a brilliant, flowing radiance.

The God-King's Crown appeared!

Hades looked at the crown floating before him without any emotion. He seemed to view it as something insignificant, barely worthy of his attention.

The position of the God-King?

To be honest, Hades had established the rules of the holy war, and he had demonstrated those rules, but he himself had little interest in the position of the God-King.

Because it held little meaning.

For Hades, this so-called position of the God-King wasn't entirely useless, but it certainly wasn't of great significance either.

Its only value lay in granting him the right to rule the mortal realm for ten million years and the authority to initiate the apocalypse. Beyond that?

Frankly, it meant nothing to him.

Now,

The position of the God-King was his, he was the ruler of the mortal realm, and he had the right to initiate the apocalypse.

For him, that was enough. Hades glanced briefly at the God-King's Crown and then looked away. He simply let it float there, not caring too much about it.

At that moment...

The gate to the Underworld opened!

Hestia walked in, looking at the God-King's Crown before her with a hint of awe. "So, this is the God-King's Crown, representing the position of the God-King!"

Hades responded calmly, "It's not that significant. A God-King requires strength. A mere crown won't earn recognition. Our father didn't need the God-King's Crown, and he was still the supreme Titan King."

Hades truly felt indifferent about the God-King's Crown.

The reason was simple!

Whether it was Uranus or Cronus,

Neither generation of God-Kings cared about the crown. What was its use? It was completely unnecessary! Without the crown, they were still the supreme God-Kings.

This would never change!

What mattered was their divine power.

The ability to completely dominate the mythical world, to make all gods willingly submit to their divine power. Without that power, everything else was just a joke!

That was the essence of everything. Without this core, nothing else mattered.

Hades saw this quite clearly.

In reality,

Even Poseidon, and Zeus—who had an endless hunger for power—understood that it was their own divine power that mattered most. Everything else was meaningless.

What were those things?

For a God-King, they had no significance whatsoever. Without sufficient strength, the so-called position of the God-King was just a joke! This wasn't a joke, but a plain truth!

Remember!

That was the key. In the original story, Hades, Poseidon, Abel, Athena—all third and fourth generation God-Kings—were manipulated by Zeus like puppets, used however he wanted.

At that time, Zeus wielded unmatched power. He was the supreme God-King. Refuse to submit? Then perish. It was an inescapable reality!

That was the truth!

And now, the same principle applied to Hades.

The God-King's Crown?

Even if he possessed the crown, if his position as God-King wasn't recognized, it would still just be a joke.

Hestia smirked and said playfully, "Brother, no matter what you say, this is still the God-King's Crown! It's a treasure, after all. We should at least keep it!"

Hades said calmly, "Big sister, if you like it, then take it and play with it."

With that,

Hades' divine will swept over the crown, and in an instant, it transformed into a light and landed on Hestia's wrist, forming a bracelet shaped like a crown.

The God-King's Crown seemed displeased, even unwilling, but it was all meaningless!

Under Hades' divine power, whether the crown accepted it or not, it didn't matter—it had no power to resist.

In the end,

This crown, which symbolized the position of the God-King, could only submit obediently and became a bracelet on Hestia's wrist.

The God-King's Crown felt quite miserable!

What was this?

What was this?

What did this mean?

The crown felt like crying, it was almost unbearably upset. This was no joke! What were you doing?

Uranus didn't need it, Cronus didn't need it, and now, after finally becoming crucial in determining the position of the God-King, what happened?

Sob, sob…

The crown had no consciousness, it was merely a symbol of the God-King's position. If it had any awareness at all, it would be crying in frustration.

What was this?!

Every generation of God-Kings looked down on it, every generation didn't use it.

So, why did it keep being created over and over?

So annoying!

So annoying!

For the God-King's Crown, this was truly exasperating, a major headache. In short, it was extremely unhappy, extremely so.

However,

Its feelings no longer mattered. For Hades, if the crown could make his elder sister a bit happier, it had served its purpose. Beyond that?

It had no other significance!
