Sebastian snapped his eyes open, his sleepiness instantly dissipating.

He even felt a slight tremor in his body but quickly controlled his emotions and discreetly glanced at Professor Franz, who was focused on driving beside him. The professor did not seem to notice.

He adjusted his sitting position, pretending to scroll through his phone as if nothing had happened, switching back and forth between chat apps, though his mind was far away.

Sebastian sighed inwardly. A Virtual Realm Role Card? He remembered hearing his father and some government officials discuss it over drinks when he was young, but he didn't know much about it.

All he knew was that after obtaining a character card, one needed to clear a Virtual Realm, which was akin to an adventure. Each time one completed it, they would gain a certain amount of experience points. Reaching 100% would allow them to level up. Above level zero, one could be called a Virtual Realm Walker. All Virtual Realm Walker have remarkable powers.

Besides, as far as he knew, the Virtual Realm seemed to be divided into three regions. His homeland, the United States of America, was the first region, Asia was the second region, and the third region had only opened more than ten years ago. The specific scope and location were not very clear.

However, this role called "Lord of the Heroic Spirit," he had never heard of. He thought it might be a new role from the third region.

Either way, it was a good thing. Becoming a Virtual Realm Walker and joining a major organization would certainly make life much better, allowing him to earn more money.

Thinking of this, Sebastian couldn't help but smile a little, but he quickly controlled himself and remained silent.

The existence of the Spirit Realm had already been publicized, but ordinary people only knew that it was a realm of superpowered individuals. In Europe, it was public knowledge that three major organizations and five great families managed the Virtual Realm Walkers.

He had learned a few more details from his father, though not much. It seemed that most members of the Gustav family, one of the five great families, were from America, so he could consider contacting them when he returned.

But that was all for later. His main goal now was to pass the first Virtual Realm Trial and become a true Spirit Realm Walker...

Suddenly, the mechanical female voice rang out again, noticeably louder, pulling Sebastian back to reality from his wandering thoughts.

[Please name the character!]

Sebastian looked at the attribute panel in front of him, pondered for a moment, and used his finger as a pen to write - Violet.

This was a username Sebastian had used for a long time, with no special reason, just a love for that type of flower.

[Character Creation Completed]

Sebastian glanced at his phone's GPS location and estimated that there were still four hours of driving time left to their destination.

He opened a music app, listened to a song to relax, and flipped through the blueprints of the observation instrument, familiarizing himself with the assembly details once again.

Professor Franz was still driving with a serious face, seemingly indifferent to everything around him.

When the brilliant golden evening sunlight that haloed the sky could no longer be seen, Sebastian, who had been sitting all the way with a sore back, finally stepped onto the ground, stretched out, and let out a long sigh.

"Finally arrived. Then again, Norway's period of extreme night, no sunlight, really cold, ah."

Looking at Professor Franz, who was parking his car and walking towards him, he asked, "By the way, Professor, where is this?"

"This is the closest town to the best observation point. I've already booked a room, so let's put our luggage in the hotel first and take a rest. The road trip afterward will require carrying instruments into the forest, so it's best to recover more energy."

Professor Franz handed Sebastian a black room card and instructed, "You can also eat something. I'll go to the hotel to rest first. Call if you need anything later."

Sebastian hurriedly accepted it respectfully and nodded. "Good."

After parting, Sebastian casually found a restaurant and ordered a Norwegian specialty: fish soup with black bread and shrimp salad.

After picking up his meal, Sebastian carried his food and walked around looking for a seat. As he passed two short men in black robes, he vaguely heard them say, "Boss, ... Dwarf's ... Demigod ..."

Sebastian thought quietly. Dwarves? Seems like a hardcore Marvel fan, but what's a demigod?

Not paying much attention, he walked away and found a seat.
