Scamming brings out the joy in a merchant.

As Dami stared at the ring from the box that the old man brought out of his pocket, he suddenly had a flah back about nine years ago, when he was ten years old.

On the day his parents lost all their money and companies, he had a dream, a very strange dream at that.

[Inside the dream world.]

Dami stood on top of a pile of corpses, rivers of blood flowed every where, giving the area a sense of pugatory, but the sky, the sky was white, not blue but white, it looked so holy that it made the hellish landscape more bearable. As everywhere looked like hell, Dami sat upon a black throne. The throne had the image of an eclipse, and strange markings and symbols we're written all over the throne.

Dami wore a robe that the half of the robe was white, while the other half is black and on both sides of the robe was sun-red lines embroidered all over the black and white robe, it looked like yin- yang in harmony with the cosmos. On Dami's right hand was a spear, the spear was black, night black with white mysterious letters written at the center of the spear it looked like the perfect description of a demonic weapon, and by his waist was a white, holy looking sword.

As Dami sat on the throne with the sword and the spear, on his left middle finger was a golden ring with intricate markings and a red gem embedded on top of it, at the first sight, it looks unremarkable, like it was just an average ring, but when looking closer, there was this pulling force from it that felt like it would extract your entire life force.

As Dami sat on the throne with the bloody background, he looked like a god. A god that controls the faith of both the Heavens and Hell. He looked like the supreme king of life and death, the catalyst that surpresses the battle against light and darkness. The one with the Universe.

Then Dami stood up from the throne and rose his right hand up in the air. Then, the heavens and the earth shook violently as if they were about to be destroyed.

But only a second later the shaking stopped and silence loomed everywhere.

But suddenly, space cracked and from cracks to bigger cracks, and from bigger cracks to space itself tearing open. And from the opened space came out, the moon, then the sun.

The moon and the sun then flew up and crossed the boundaries of the white sky and flew into deep space. Then they went to their original position in the solar system.

As the sun and moon stopped moving, the earth began shaking once again and if you look from outer space you would find that the earth is... moving!

It is moving towards the middle of both the moon and the sun!

As the earth moved closer to the center of the two cosmic entities, the shadow of the earth started to look over the moon, slowly covering it in darkness.

As the earth finally stopped in between the sun and moon it caused a lunar eclipse.

Back on Earth, Dami stared at the chaos he just did and smiled, then he stood up from the throne and flew up into the air, as he flew he was approaching space, but once he reached the boundaries of the earth, he stopped, turned his head and said to the viewers. " I am Dami. The Lunar eclipser!"

Then ten year old Dami woke up and brushed it off as a regular dream and went back to sleep after drinking some water.

....

[ Back at the antique shop.]

As Dami finished the flash back, he stared at the old man and asked him how much the ring would cost.

" I got this ring while on a very dangerous exploration when I was still in my prime, I even have a feeling of sentiment over this ring, but it would just be useless in my hands and just be collecting dust, so how about I sell it to you at a discount since I did scare you the first time, so how about..." The old man said as he put his hands on his chin and acted like he was thinking, but Dami just stared at him patiently.

" I got it! How about a hundred doira?" The old man said as he came to a conclusion for the price of the ring.

" A hundred doira? That's too much for such a tiny little thing." Dami said as put on an expression of unwillingness.

" What do you mean it's too much? I almost died because of this ring you know." The old man said with a proud exppression of being able to have survive death.

" So? I wasn't the one that asked you to risk your life for the sake of a dum ring, this shop is such a rip off, i'm out of here." Dami said as he turned around and was about to leave.

" Wait! Don't go, alright how about I sell it for fifty doira?" The old man said as he had a look of desperation.

As Dami heard the old man, he smilled.

" Twenty doira!" Dami said not wanting to buy a ring for fifty doira.

" No! Too low. How about twenty-five?" Said the old man.

" Fifteen!" Dami said as instead of raising his bargain he lowered it, contradicting the old man.

" Hah! Young people, sigh! Alright then, I'll take fifteen." The old man said in defeat.

" Great! Dami said as he took out some kind of soft but tough looking crustal in the shape of regular paper currency with a sign and number at the center.

After collecting the money, the old man handed the box with the ring inside over too Dami.

" Thank you sir, I'll be on my way now." Dami said as he left the store after the old man told him good bye.

Then Dami continued his journey, while he opened the box and began inspecting the ring.

...

[ Back in the antique store.]

" Hahaha! Sucker! I found that ring on the ground by the trash cans behind my store and I was able to sell it to that fool for fifteen doira! This is why antique shop owners are always the best at scamming people. Hahahah!" The old man said as he laughed histerically in joy of being able to sell a ring he found laying on the ground.

" Well it looks like your having fun." A man in a black trench coat said as he walked over to the old man.

" Of course I am, I just scammed a young fellow that just left a few minutes ago. Father was right, scamming does bring out the joy in a merchant." The old man said as his body started changing and became that of a young looking man in his twenties.

" Well enough fun for the day, the council is asking for a political meeting again, so be there, or face the consequences." The man said as he stared at the former old man with the eyes of a predator.

" Another one again?! Why are the meetings becoming so frequent these days?" The former old man said in annoyance.

" I don't know Dax, neither do I care, i'm just the messenger for the council." The man in trench coat said as he stared at Dax.

" Well i'm done here for now, so how about we go back together, let me just close up first." Dax said as he turned around and locked the shop and closed the metal garage like door.

" Good, let's go, would you do the honors, brother?" The man in trench coat said with a smile.

" Of course big bro Leo." Dax said in excitment.

" Well, let's go." Leo said as he stared at Dax.

" Dravamescargo!"

After Dax finish saying those words, a dark portal appeared above their heads and sucked them in violently.

Once the portal dissapeared, the whole store was filled with silence once more.

....

As Dami was walking down the empty road again, he was only about a mile away from the location of the event.

" Let's see how you look on me." Dami said as he subconsciously put the ring on his middle finger on his left hand.

After putting on the ring, Dami felt saddness wash over him, he didn't know what he was sad about but he became so sad that a drop of tear left his eye.

As the tear drop fell from his face it landed on the red gem on top of the ring. Then all of a sudden Dami felt pain on his middle finger, exactly where the ring was. Then blood started dripping from his finger. He felt like some was using a blade to slice open his fingers, making him scream In agony.

As the blood was touching the ring, not one drop fell onto the ground, they were all being absorbed by the ring! It was literally sucking his blood and that was also bringing more pain to Dami as he felt like a million needles weew being punctured into his skin.

After a few more minutes, the ring finally stopped sucking blood and the pain slowly went away.

As Dami stared at the ring, he decided to check his finger but when he saw that it looked fine, he tried removing the ring from his finger but, it didn't come off. It was stuck to his hand!
