Chapter 2: The First Fight and the Secrets of the System

Wei took a deep breath, feeling his heart race as the scavengers approached. There were four of them: men and women dressed in tattered clothes made from patched fabric and bits of armor. Their weapons were as makeshift as his scrap knife, but no less dangerous—metal pipes, jagged blades, and even a faulty blaster that looked ready to explode.

"Hey, kid, you're in our territory. Everything here belongs to us!" shouted the leader, a tall man with a scar running across his face. He wielded a nail-studded club and didn't seem interested in negotiating.

Wei tightened his grip on the scrap knife, sweat dripping down his face. He was a gamer, not a fighter. But the rules had changed. This was no longer a game. If he didn't fight back, he'd die.

[SYSTEM ACTIVE: COMBAT ALERT]

Tip: You can use the environment to your advantage. Improvise with nearby resources!

Wei's eyes darted around, searching for something useful. Piles of wreckage. A partially intact ship panel. A loose cable dangling from a duct.

"Environment… it's like Warhammer!" Wei thought. In Warhammer, improvisation and terrain were crucial. If he couldn't win by strength, he'd win by strategy.

"You're alone, kid. No chance!" yelled another scavenger, charging forward with a metal pipe.

Instinct took over. Wei yanked the loose cable, and a small spark lit up. Without hesitation, he wrapped the wire around a piece of metal and flung it at the attacker. A jolt of electricity surged through the scavenger's body, dropping him to the ground with a cry of pain.

The group hesitated, surprised. Wei took the opportunity to retreat, positioning himself near the ship panel. He barely had time to breathe before the leader rushed at him, swinging the club. Wei raised the scrap knife to block, but the impact sent him crashing into the wreckage.

"Too weak!" the man sneered.

Wei struggled to his feet, spitting blood. Weak? Maybe he was, but that wouldn't last. He quickly opened the system menu. New alerts blinked at him.

[Side Mission: Defeat the Scavengers]

One option caught his eye: "Improvised Bomb (Level 1)." The required materials were simple—scrap metal, chemical fuel, and an electrical spark. Wei already had the loose cable for the spark. All he needed was fuel.

Scanning the area, he spotted a small cylinder marked with a fire symbol—an old fuel canister from a discarded ship.

[Resource Collected: Chemical Fuel x1]

As the scavengers closed in, Wei activated the crafting menu and initiated the bomb's creation. Just like before, a blue glow formed in his hands.

"You want the trash? Here it comes!" he shouted, hurling the bomb at the group.

The explosion was instant. The small blast sent the scavengers flying, covered in soot and debris. The leader dropped to his knees, coughing. The remaining three scrambled back, fear in their eyes.

Wei was breathing hard, but a smile crept across his face. He had won—not with brute force, but with intelligence. The system flashed again, revealing more details.

He glanced at the scavengers. The leader glared at him with anger but had no strength left to fight.

"This place is dangerous, kid. You think you can survive alone? You'll end up like the rest of this junk!" the man spat before stumbling away with his group.

Wei didn't reply. He knew the man was partially right. This place was dangerous. But now, he had something the others didn't: the system.

New Main Mission: Discover the Secret of the Junk Planet

Objective: Explore the ruins and unlock the next technology.

He looked toward the horizon. This planet was vast, filled with wreckage, danger, and potential. Wei didn't know why he had been reborn here, but one thing was certain: he wouldn't stay weak for long.

"Warframe, Starcraft, Warhammer… if these technologies are here, I'll master them."

With the knife in hand and the system in his view, Wei began walking toward the distant ruins, where a massive, split-apart ship loomed—promising answers or even greater challenges.
