Patrick descended the stairs and went to the living room when he ran into Sara, who was cleaning the couches.

"I'm leaving. "I'll be coming back," he told her.

"All right, sir. With a smile, she wished him luck.

"Thank you," was his response before he left the living room. When they noticed he was there, his mother and girlfriend were standing on the porch, talking to one other. As he approached them, they both got up.

Do you know that I'm not going to die? His girlfriend frowned, and he smiled wryly, seeing their expression and the intensity they were staring at him.

He groaned and laughed as Phina rolled her eyes and slapped him on the arms.

"You ought to stop worrying. There won't be any trouble. He turned to face his partner, "I won't eat any of them, and I won't let them eat me there."

Before nodding, his mother glanced at his girlfriend and then back at him.

"All right. "Come on in," she commanded him.
