Chapter Eighty: Humiliation

A few days later, in a garden not far from the Holy Star City, stood a house.

Around the house, various flowers bloomed, displaying vibrant hues of red-brown and delicate shades of white...

Inside the house, the black-clad figure sat contentedly at the bedside, and lying on the bed was Shen Yueru.

She lay naked, her body trembling uncontrollably, her eyes devoid of light.

Just as the black-clad figure was about to leave, a weak voice sounded, "Don't... go..."

She grabbed the hem of the black-clad figure's clothes, unwilling to let him leave.

"What's wrong?" the black-clad figure asked.

Shen Yueru forced herself to sit up, her body tortured for a long time, and slowly knelt in front of the black-clad figure.

"I beg the Master to spare my child and husband when launching a full-scale invasion of the continent."

The black-clad figure sneered, squatting down and holding Shen Yueru's chin, "Do you think I will agree to your request?"

With that, he rose to leave.

Shen Yueru's eyes dimmed, feeling helpless. She hadn't expected such an outcome.

But just as the black-clad figure reached the door, he said, "Rest assured, I won't harm your child and husband. You rest well."

With these words, the black-clad figure left, leaving Shen Yueru hastily kowtowing.

"Thank you, Master, thank you."

Meanwhile, the imperial forces had been chasing Yun Chuxue for several days.

They were astonished by Yun Chuxue's abundant spiritual power.

Yun Chuxue's face was pale, her lips cracked. If it weren't for Moxi supplying her with spiritual power, she would have been caught long ago.

Yun Chuxue alternated between speeding up and slowing down, just as the imperial sects were about to catch up, she accelerated, leaving them puzzled.

"Moxi, I can't hold on much longer."

"Yun Chuxue, don't give up. You must survive. You haven't avenged your loved ones yet."

Yun Chuxue hadn't closed her eyes for a long time. Even a person would have reached their limit.

The imperial sects saw no hope and thought, how could Yun Chuxue survive running so far in these rugged mountains?

Giving up, they retraced their steps.

Moxi sensed their fading presence but urged Yun Chuxue to keep running. Otherwise, if they changed their minds and chased after them, it would be disastrous.

So Yun Chuxue gritted her teeth and ran for another night, crossing the mountains and arriving at a plain, where a house could be vaguely seen in the distance.

Yun Chuxue landed on the ground, and Moxi weakly said, "Yun Chuxue, I can't go on. I need to sleep for a while..."

Yun Chuxue couldn't hear anymore. She slowly walked, not knowing how long she had been walking, only knowing she was moving forward with her eyes closed.

So tired...

Yun Chuxue spat out blood and collapsed. She was exhausted, truly exhausted.

After Yun Chuxue fell, someone seemed to be approaching from a distance.

Yun Chuxue wanted to get up and run, but she really couldn't hold on anymore and passed out.

A month later, Yun Chuxue slowly opened her eyes and looked around the room. She was now in a wooden house with a table, the room not large, accommodating seven or eight people.

She tried to move but found herself leaning against a wooden post, her hands hanging, legs bound, and when she tried to use her spiritual power, she found it sealed, unable to be invoked.

Yun Chuxue struggled, trying to escape.

"Don't struggle; it's futile," came a woman's voice from outside, gentle and melodious.

When she entered, Yun Chuxue fixed her gaze and saw an unusual figure.

Judging from her attire, she didn't seem like someone from the mainland, more like a tribal leader.

"Who are you?" Yun Chuxue asked coldly, while her subordinate scolded harshly, "Bold, how dare you speak to our leader like that? If it weren't for our leader..."

"Shut up. Did I ask you to speak?"

Yun Chuxue understood; it was her who had saved her.

"Thank you for saving my life. Can you please release me?"

"Hahaha... I'm called Muya. As for you... Yun Chuxue, from the mainland, once a disciple of the Yun Chuxue Palace, but did not practice there. Afterward, you trained outside and became the youngest spiritual god-level powerhouse on the continent. Your ability to run so far this time shows that your enemies are still chasing you."

"How do you know so much?"

Yun Chuxue was highly suspicious of Muya's identity.

"Don't worry, I'm the leader of this tribe, and I have no hidden cards. I just want to know, what exactly did you do to have so many people chasing after you?"

"...Justice."

"Hahaha," Muya laughed loudly, "Yun Chuxue, don't tease me. Justice? Do you take me for a fool?"

"..."

"Don't think I don't know. Since you were young, you've been lonely, withdrawn. Only two people in the Yun Chuxue Palace were close to you, but you despised those nobles. Why? Because you were jealous. You envied their friendships, their better childhoods, their parents, while you had none. That's the real reason."

Muya's words hit home, leaving Yun Chuxue unable to argue. She had indeed been driven by jealousy.

After a while, Yun Chuxue weakly admitted, "Indeed, you're right. I have nothing more to say. Kill me or do whatever you want."

Yun Chuxue had become indifferent to life and death; she had died more than once.

"Kill you? Do you think it's that easy?"

Then she squatted slightly, grabbed Yun Chuxue's calf, and Yun Chuxue glared fiercely at her.

She gestured to her subordinates behind her.

"Turn around."

"Yes."

"Yun Chuxue, with such a good figure and looks, why did you choose to cultivate? Why not find a man you like and live a peaceful life, instead?"

Yun Chuxue didn't answer her. Muya continued,

"Oh, I forgot, you used to have a great deal of jealousy."

"..."

"Yun Chuxue, let's talk terms."

Muya leaned casually against a table.

"What terms?"

"Be my maid."

"Impossible."

Muya smirked disdainfully, "Not agreeing? You'll agree even if you don't."

Then she took out a row of long needles from a spatial ring.

Yun Chuxue watched as Muya squatted down and inserted five needles behind her calf. Yun Chuxue instantly felt her legs weaken, but apart from the pain of the needles, there was no other sensation.

Similarly, she pushed aside Yun Chuxue's skirt and inserted five needles into the front of her thighs, eliciting the same feeling.

Then she inserted five needles into Yun Chuxue's abdomen and shoulders, and Yun Chuxue suddenly felt powerless all over, only able to move her neck and head.

Afterward, Muya aimed at Yun Chuxue's forehead and pierced it.

Yun Chuxue felt as if her whole body had plunged into a thousand hells, in unbearable agony.

Yun Chuxue gritted her teeth, veins bulging, soon drenched in sweat.

The pain was short-lived; after it subsided, Muya removed all the needles. Yun Chuxue felt weak all over as Muya untied her. Yun Chuxue slumped to the ground, leaning against a pillar.

As Muya left, she said, "Yun Chuxue, whether you agree now or not, you will agree."

Leaving behind these words, she walked away. Yun Chuxue sat on the ground, the door locked, with two people guarding outside.

After a while, Yun Chuxue felt a little strength returning to her body.

She smiled bitterly, "Me, Yun Chuxue, when have I ever suffered such humiliation?"

She didn't shed tears; she just quietly leaned against the pillar, gazing at the faint sunlight through the door.
