settlement start
The landing was smooth, it only took 3 hours sadly for some children this was to long and needed to rush towards the toilet straight after landing. Jim and Mona made the announcement that food should be ready in 30 minutes and after that every should sleep for an early morning start.
The next morning when everyone was out of the spacecraft they were stunned from the view they had. About 2000 meters to the north the river was raging down the mountain. If they needed fresh water it was a bit of a climb but not to far.
To the east there was a large forest the first few trees they saw where a 100 to a 150 meters in hight and around 20 meters wide.
The south they could only see mostly grasslands with only a few trees. It also looked full of animal life. In the distance they could see a few mammoths.
To the west on the other had where mostly hills guiding the river that formed on the mountain downstream.
Only Jim, Mona, Aron and Jessica looked at all directions. The rest was just stunned from the mountain view.
Only problem now was they did land in the meteorite created. Jim started to assemble all the male children and got them shovels.
Living in the spacecraft was not an option the windows couldn't open and the maintenance and refurbishment would lead to the option that the craft was not usable as spacecraft after that.
Jim: let's go boys it's time to cover up the spacecraft and dig a trench from the river towards where we are.
After two day of hard work they did cover the full spacecraft with dirt. Also they created a pool of water close by. They also built a small dam so they could stop the water coming in from the mountain.
After this it was time to construct some smaller houses.
Aron: So we need a few to help the woodworkers and builders to construct the house. With that we could build a fast settlement. We just need a food supply so I'm also looking for some people that want to join me.
One guard, one champion, a healer, four hunters and two new beast tamers joined Jim on his exploration for food but before he could leave his sister came up with a good plan.
Jessica: just wait 5 minutes I'm going to make a quest for your team.
[Make quest
Jessica: Can you accept the quest brother? It's even giving me a reward if you can complete it. I made sure to make it a team quest but I can only share it with you at the moment. For the others my system is saying that they don't have enough experience to get a quest.
As soon as the quest popped up in his system he accepted it. After he formed his team with the rest he looked at his quest screen and pressed [share quest]
Aron: can you all accept the quest I just shared please. We will move out in 30 minutes. I need to see if the others also can get a quest.
Aron and Jessica started talking how they could get the builders and woodworkers a quest as well.
They did run towards their mother and asked if she could make a team. Apparently she could for the next 7 days after that her system was going to update.

Mona was surprised that her kids already knew how to work with the system.
Aron: Mom how many team members can you handle? Hmm doesn't matter, just get the builders and woodworkers in your team and see if you can add more team members just fill it to the maximum amount and share the quest.
After that Aron did run straight back to his team and set-off south.
During the trip south he asked everyone to keep an eye out for potential carnivorous and other animals to a lesser extent but it would be great to go back with extra food and hides.
Luckily for team Aron walking south was as easy as it could be, it was completely flat ground. So they talked about the skills they had.
First animal was spotted by one of the hunters. All stopt and Aron used his [inspect] skill:

Aron: oke this bunny is looking nice but it's a ferocious one, it will probably attract us if we keep going. Let's ambush him before he does this to us.
Hunters get ready to take out your mana bow and shoot on my signal. Guard get ready to force the bunny on you when it's close to the hunters. Healer be ready to heal the guard champion with me we will hit the bunny when it runs past us with all we have.
Aron already got his mana sword out ready to go. After this he counted down from 5..4..3..2..1..GO!!!!
The bunny got hit by 4 arrows at the same time. Each arrow did 10 damage. Now with the mana the hunters had left the could shoot 10 arrows.
Meanwhile where everyone was busy building.
9 of the 10 houses where built with a single tree the only needed a few pieces of furniture in the last house and it should be a completed quest.
With this it almost looked as the start of a small settlement. Still having dirt roads but a roofing when sleeping. All the girls new that this was the end of all luxury.
