I kept sitting on the bench, gazing at the sky with my head resting on the back. The sun was shining, and there wasn't a single cloud in sight. It was so hot that I had to remove my long coat and open the first two buttons of my shirt.
I stood up and entered the school building. My restless eyes were making me see everything double; I really needed to sleep. The next class was in fifteen minutes. At least I could take a nap until then and hopefully be awakened by Mira when the lesson started.
Reaching the classroom, I sat down at my desk and put my head on the table. As soon as I shut my eyes, I was asleep.
"Hey." A student shook me awake just five minutes later. "We need to talk."

I got punched right in the mouth out of nowhere, and my chair fell to the ground with me in it. I hit the floor with a loud thud, my head smacking against the back leg of the desk.
