Thor's hammer trembled in his grasp, crackling with golden lightning as he prepared to bring it down on Aidan's broken body. His expression was cold, unyielding, the weight of his divine judgment pressing upon the battlefield like an unrelenting storm.

This was the end.

Until—

"STOP, THOR ODINSON!"

The voice rang across the ruined battlefield, sharp, desperate, commanding.

Thor's hammer froze mid-swing. His eyes widened in shock, his muscles locking in place as he turned toward the source of the voice.

It was Valeria.

She stood among the wreckage, her armor shattered, her once-majestic presence reduced to a battered warrior barely holding herself together. Blood streaked her face, her breath was ragged, but her grip on the blade in her hand was steady.

And that blade was pressed against the throat of a child.

A little girl, no older than ten.

The moment Thor's eyes landed on her, his entire being shifted. His breath caught, his grip on Mjolnir loosened.

His hammer fell to the ground.

"…Torunn…?" His voice cracked. His storm, his rage, his vengeance—it all halted.

Valeria's eyes never wavered. Her expression was grim, ruthless.

"If you make one more move…" she pressed the knife harder against the child's neck, "…she dies."

From the distance, a green blur shot through the sky. Amora.

The Enchantress landed behind Thor, her hands glowing with dark magic, her emerald eyes blazing.

"Kill him! Don't stop! She's bluffing! She's a hero!" Amora snarled.

But Valeria didn't even flinch. She simply pressed the knife further, drawing a thin line of blood. The girl whimpered, shaking in terror.

And Thor…

Thor broke.

"I swear on my father's name, I will do it," Valeria's voice rang out, clear and absolute. "I will kill her, here and now. Your daughter."

Aidan, barely clinging to consciousness, gasped.

Thor took a step forward, his entire body trembling.

"Torunn…" he whispered, his hands twitching as if reaching for her.

But then, from behind, the sword pulsed with darkness, whispering.

"Kill him, Thor. Give up the child."

"Do it, honey! She WON'T dare!" Amora's voice rose in desperation, but even she could see it—Thor was hesitating.

"SILENCE!"

Thor's roar cracked the heavens. Lightning surged around him in a violent explosion, but he made no move to attack. His eyes, burning with conflicted agony, remained locked on Valeria and the girl.

"I will not sacrifice my daughter."

Valeria's blade never wavered. She pointed toward Aidan, his body still impaled on the battlefield.

"Let him stand and leave. We will leave. Just don't."

A thick silence filled the air. For the first time in the battle, everything stopped.

But then—

"SHE'S NOT REAL, THOR!"

Amora's scream cut through the moment like a dagger.

A horrible realization dawned upon Thor's face.

"What…?"

Amora's hands clenched into fists, her nails digging into her palms. Her voice was hysterical, desperate.

"She's not real! She never was!" Amora shouted. "I lied, Thor! I made a doll! LOOK!"

And right before his eyes—

The child in Valeria's arms vanished.

She did not scream.

She did not struggle.

She simply faded away, her form twisting and distorting into a lifeless, doll-like figure.

Thor's breath hitched.

His entire body shook.

"What…?"

His voice was small. Fragile.

Amora's words crashed over him like a wave of devastation.

"She is dead, Thor! She never existed! I—" Her voice faltered, fear flickering in her expression as she saw the sheer horror dawning in Thor's face.

The mighty God of Thunder stood there, staring at the empty space where his daughter had been.

His hands curled into trembling fists.

His breathing grew ragged.

Then—

The sky rumbled.

And Thor screamed.

....

Earlier

....

Amora slammed the heavy doors of Thor's chambers shut behind her, her breath ragged, her emerald dress torn and scorched from the battle outside. Blood dripped down her arms, her golden hair disheveled. She needed a moment. Just one.

Then—

"Mommy?"

A small, delicate voice.

Amora's lips curled in disgust as she turned to see the child peeking out from behind a pillar. The little girl—Thor's "precious daughter"—looked up at her with wide, innocent eyes.

"Shut up, you shitty doll!" Amora snarled, waving a hand. A pulse of magic struck the girl, making her stagger back in fear. "You're nothing. Just a tool."

The child whimpered, stepping away—

BOOM!

The chamber doors exploded inward.

Amora barely had time to shield herself as the force sent splinters and molten debris flying. Smoke filled the air. Through the haze, three figures stepped forward.

Valeria. Her deep-blue armor gleamed, the edges still lined with battle scars. The arc reactor at her chest hummed with energy, her gauntlets crackling.

Elsa Bloodstone. The monster hunter, her trench coat flaring as she cracked her knuckles. Her eyes burned with a hunter's fury, her shotgun loaded with rounds made for killing things like Amora.

And at their side—Bucky Barnes. His vibranium arm gleamed under the chamber's dim light, a rifle slung over his shoulder, his knife twirling between his fingers.

Elsa smirked. "Well, well, well… looks like we found the one bitch we need to kill."

Amora's eyes darkened with rage.

"You damn meddling mortals." Her voice dripped with venom as green flames erupted from her fingertips. "Even now, you will lose. Thor is out there, breaking your precious dragon. And when he's done, you will be nothing but ashes."

Elsa laughed.

"Yeah? Then why are you hiding, witch?" She aimed her shotgun at Amora's head, her grin widening. "You scared?"

Amora's face twisted in fury. With a flick of her wrist, the battle began.

Amora struck first.

A massive shockwave of green energy rippled outward, aiming to obliterate the intruders. Valeria reacted instantly, throwing up her energy shields, absorbing the brunt of the attack. The impact sent her skidding backward, but she held her ground.

Elsa dodged left, rolling beneath the blast with inhuman speed. She fired her shotgun point-blank, enchanted rounds ripping through the air.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Amora snarled as the bullets grazed her arm, sizzling against her skin. She retaliated, launching a storm of eldritch spikes toward Elsa—

Bucky intercepted.

He dashed forward, knocking the spikes aside with his vibranium arm before lunging at Amora with his knife. He moved fast—too fast for a normal human.

But Amora was not human.

With a flick of her wrist, a curse shot out, wrapping around Bucky's arm like a serpent. His body froze mid-attack, and Amora smirked.

"Pathetic."

She waved her hand—Bucky was launched into the wall with a sickening crack.

Valeria charged.

The repulsors in her boots blasted her forward, both of her hands glowing with blue-hot energy. She swung a punch, aiming straight for Amora's face—

The sorceress teleported.

Reappearing behind her.

Valeria's instincts screamed, but Elsa was already there.

The monster hunter had anticipated it. She spun, axe in hand, and swung it at Amora's head.

CLANG!

The axe met a barrier of shimmering green magic. Amora's eyes gleamed as she hissed, "I've dealt with hunters before, girl."

Elsa grinned.

"Yeah? But have you dealt with me?"

With a twist, she shattered the barrier—and drove her fist straight into Amora's face.

The battle turned savage.

Elsa fought like a predator, weaving between Amora's spells, dodging, striking, shooting. Every move was precise, deadly.

Valeria fought like a warrior, her suit enhancing her speed, her repulsors blasting Amora back whenever she tried to gain an upper hand.

Bucky fought like an assassin. Silent, efficient, relentless.

For the first time—Amora struggled.

Her magic lashed out wildly, curses turning the air black with death. But Elsa and Valeria pressed her harder and harder, forcing her back.

Amora screamed in frustration.

And then—she turned her fury on Bucky.

She saw the opening.

Bucky lunged with his knife—too close.

Amora caught his wrist.

A twisted smile played on her lips. "Goodbye, soldier."

Her hand plunged into his chest.

Time stopped.

For a moment, there was no sound. No movement. Only the sickening realization that she had gripped his heart.

Then—

She crushed it.

Bucky Barnes died instantly.

His body slumped. His vibranium arm twitched, once.

Elsa's world shattered.

Her breath hitched.

And then—

She roared.

"YOU FUCKING WITCH!"

She charged.

Not like a warrior.

Like a beast.

Her axe swung with inhuman force, cutting through Amora's spells like they were nothing. She moved with blind rage, striking, striking, striking—

Until Amora snapped.

The sorceress unleashed everything.

A wave of pure, searing magic exploded outward, hurling Elsa across the room. The hunter screamed as dark energy burned into her, corrupting her very soul.

A death curse.

Amora stood, panting, trembling, victorious.

Valeria, her armor cracked, blood dripping down her face, looked up at the ruined battlefield.

Bucky was dead.

Elsa was dying.

And in the shadows—the child still hid.

Valeria's gaze hardened.

She made her choice.

She ran.

With a final blast of her repulsors, she grabbed the child and fled into the darkness—leaving Amora standing in the ruins of her wrath.
