They fell like divine judgment.

The lances—millions of them—descended toward Earth with a speed that tore the atmosphere apart. Screaming across the skies in massive trails of blackened voidfire, they ignited storms, ruptured clouds, and caused electromagnetic interference on a scale the planet had never known. Cities went dark. Oceans stirred with unnatural tides. Birds scattered in silence as the first wave plummeted downward.

Aiden moved.

He didn't think. He didn't hesitate.

He just moved.

WHOOSH—BOOM—KRAKOOOM!

Aiden's body tore through space like a comet of wrath, fists ablaze with multi-elemental fury. He spun, punched, sliced, and devoured—ten, twenty, fifty lances were obliterated every second. Dragon Slayer Magic surged from his core in all directions. Flames of Purgatory clashed with White Lightning, and Iron Storm Cannons crashed against the pillars of annihilation.

Each attack was perfect.

Each counter was instinctive.

And still—it wasn't enough.

His eyes darted in every direction. Hundreds more kept falling. Then thousands. Then even more—Alpha had saturated the sky. Like a storm of extinction.

BOOM—BOOM—BOOM

Aiden zipped across Europe, vaporizing a cluster above London.

BOOM—BOOM

Then over the Indian Ocean, where a dozen lances threatened the coasts of Africa and Asia. His body blurred into seven separate afterimages as he covered the Earth's curvature in seconds, becoming a living meteor, a wrathful guardian.

"Faster… FASTER!" Aiden screamed as tears flickered behind his eyes.

His throat ached from the heat.

His heart pounded like a war drum.

His arms were bleeding from overuse.

But the pillars kept falling.

And he wasn't fast enough.

BOOOOOOM

A single lance pierced a section of northern China.

SCREEEEE—BOOM

Another cluster crashed into the Pacific.

Even with all his speed, all his might, millions were already dead.

Because he wasn't fast enough.

His soul shook.

Despair gripped him. For the first time, Aiden's breath caught mid-flight. His power surged uncontrollably, wild and chaotic. He stopped in the upper atmosphere, trembling as the Earth wept below.

"No... No no no..."

This wasn't how it was supposed to go.

He was supposed to be their protector.

And yet—

Alpha's voice echoed across dimensions. "You were given the power to destroy gods, Aiden. But even gods can be outnumbered."

Then—

A voice. A laugh.

Loud. Joyous. Thunderous.

Aiden's ears perked up, and his body spun around just in time to see—reality tear open behind him.

A rift in the cosmos.

As if space itself decided to smile.

"LORD!"

"I told you I'd pay you back for letting my dad live! Didn't I?!"

Aiden's eyes widened.

Something was coming.

A shadow fell over half the Earth.

Then—BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

A hand—bigger than entire continents—rushed forward like a divine force of nature. Fingers clad in cosmic winds, wrapped in galactic light, the hand swiped across orbit and crushed nearly half of the lances in an instant.

CRASH!

The void-lances splintered like fragile glass. Shards of Knull's dark magic were incinerated under the pressure of sheer mass and divine authority. Storms broke apart. Space bent.

Aiden's heart thumped.

He slowly looked up.

And there—filling the heavens—was a face.

Grinning. Sparkling eyes like twin galaxies.

Hair made of stardust and solar flares.

Aiden blinked.

"Galacta...?"

"YES!!!" the massive face roared with glee, lips curled into a smug grin. "Did you think I'm some cheap girl who forgets favors?! Nope nope nope!"

"Galacta always pays her debt!" she boomed, her voice rippling through the void and into Aiden's core like a warm, chaotic embrace.

"And today—I'm helping you, My Lord!"

Aiden smiled. Not out of arrogance.

But from the relief—the overwhelming, soul-crushing weight that someone… someone else had answered the call he didn't even make.

Galacta—daughter of Galactus. Cosmic devourer. Reality-breaker.

And now?

His ally.

Her body shimmered like a nebula as she stepped through the rift, arms outstretched. Her presence alone destabilized the dark lances' trajectory. She raised both her palms—an infinity of galaxies spinning within her—and pulled back.

"Let's sweep the trash, shall we~?"

WHOOMMMMMMMMM!

Two continent-sized palms slammed together in orbit.

CLAP.

A shockwave blasted the void and shattered another third of the lances into absolute nothingness. Galacta giggled, spinning playfully like a child with the power to tear suns apart.

"Woooo~! This feels good~!"

Aiden floated below her cosmic form, eyes blazing with renewed strength. His despair melted into determination. His aura—cracked but burning—flared up once more, rising toward its apex.

"Then let's finish this…"

The last lance fell.

Disintegrated. Vaporized. Gone.

The Earth had survived—barely scarred.

Aiden hovered in silence, his chest rising and falling with jagged breaths. His body was scorched, torn, but still burning with life. He looked down and saw cities spared, oceans still, children clinging to mothers and heroes crying in relief.

He closed his eyes.

Relief.

But then—it surged up.

Rage.

His eyelids snapped open—pupils glowing like twin dying stars. His aura ignited again, but it was different now—wild, volatile, like the surface of a sun with no leash. Space itself trembled around him.

Then—he was gone.

In less than a blink, he appeared right in front of Alpha's face, eyes wild, burning with fury. Alpha barely had time to register the movement before—

CRACK!

Aiden's fist crashed into Alpha's face like a cannon forged by gods. The blow sent the synthetic being hurtling backward through the sky, carving a sonic trench through Earth's atmosphere. Clouds burst. Lightning scattered. Thunder split the heavens.

"You can counter my shit, yeah?!" Aiden roared, chasing after him like a living warhead. "Let's see you counter these fists!"

Alpha couldn't.

Not in time.

BOOM—BOOM—BOOM!

Aiden was relentless. Each punch landed like a meteor strike. Every movement cracked the sound barrier and then broke it again. He was fury incarnate—burning fists, roaring soul, bones cracking from the sheer force of motion.

He wasn't using magic.

He wasn't using elements.

He was just beating the life out of Alpha.

They shot up past the stratosphere, then the exosphere, until they were beyond Earth's pull, floating in the star-kissed void.

Alpha spiraled back, blood splattering into the void in slow, glimmering crimson droplets. His synthetic skin was cracked, eye half-closed, a smile curling across his bleeding mouth.

"You are... so strong..." Alpha gasped. "I... want that... I want... your strength…"

Aiden hovered, surrounded by celestial fire, his body like a molten statue. He didn't respond. He didn't care.

He was done with words.

Aiden extended his palm.

In his hand, a sphere began to form. Slowly at first—tiny flickers of energy swirled. Then it started to grow. Colors rippled inside—cyan, azure, violet, molten orange—until it became a churning mass of pure heat and light.

A star.

A newborn sun, compressed to the size of a beach ball but hotter than a thousand.

It spun slowly in his palm. Reality itself distorted around it. Heat rippled through the vacuum. Space bent, stars dimmed.

Alpha's eyes widened, even as blood leaked down his cheek.

Aiden's voice was like thunder dipped in hatred.

"Burn, you little shit…"

And then—

He threw it.

FWOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The miniature sun shot forth like the birth of a new god, searing everything in its path. Its light flooded the void, turning the blackness of space into white-hot day. Even the Moon dimmed. The force it carried wasn't just energy—it was Aiden's wrath made manifest.

Alpha's body was struck.

The explosion—

Unreal.

It swallowed him whole.

A radiant sphere of apocalypse bloomed in the silence of space, dwarfing mountains in scale, casting a light so powerful that satellites fried and telescopes shattered from the flash alone.
