"We keep the wind up kind. It is easier to keep them going here. They don't need magic. Also, there aren't many here who want mortal watches," Theia went on, rummaging along the wall. A ladder had appeared and she climbed it to access the higher rows of accessories. "Here." 

Theia climbed down the ladder and the row next to her floated with her. A stunning array of watches hung on little pegs.

"If you want plain, there is this one," Theia held up a fully black watch. There were no numbers, just hands against a round, black face. The strap was thin and ,yes, black. 

"The Dresser can change the colour, of course," Theia brushed off. 

"Um… maybe not plain…" Twyla declined. She needed to be able to actually see the hands. Also, numbers would be nice.
