They we're obviously eavesdropping

"What do you think they're talking about?" Bella asked Sofia, who stood in front of Lina's room eavesdropping.

"I can't hear anything" she complained

"Move, let me try," Bella said. She pushed Sofia away from the door and placed her ear on the door.

"Any luck" sofia asked with raised eyebrows

"No, it's like they're whispering" bella answered and pouted

"Well let's just leave" Sofia suggested

"Wait I think I hear something" bella said excitedly.

"Really" Sofia exclaimed

"Uhh huh" bella nodded

Bella was completely absorbed in her eavesdropping; she strained to catch every word of the conversation taking place inside.

Her brow furrowed in concentration, her body leaning in slightly as she tried to make out the hushed tone.

When suddenly, the door swung open with a creak, causing Bella to startle and lose her balance. She stumbled forward in a flurry movement, almost bumping into Lina, who was standing there with a surprised expression on her face.

"What are u doing" she asked eyeing both girls

Their mouths kept opening and closing soundlessly as they searched for words

"Ummm.... well.... you see," Bella couldn't finish a sentence as she kept stammering, her eyes darting around nervously in search of an escape.

"Isn't it obvious they were eavesdropping?" Daniel said expressionlessly as he stood behind Lina.

"What...eavesdropping?" Lina asked with raised eyebrows

Bella stared wide-eyed at Daniel, she shook her hands vigorously. "No... no... we weren't."

"Yes....yes we weren't" Sofia spoke up for the first time

"If you weren't eavesdropping," Lina began, but Daniel interrupted her abruptly. "Let's go, baby," he said, his voice curt and dismissive.

Lina turned to Daniel with a smile and nodded her head slightly. "Okay, let's go," she said and walked away with Daniel, totally ignoring Sofia and Bella.

Sofia and Bella stood side by side, their heads pressed together as they watched Lina and Daniel walk away.

"Was it just me, or did you see that as well?" Sofia whispered.

"I did," Bella replied. "And did you hear what Daniel called her?"

"Yes," Sofia replied.

They watched as Daniel and Lina disappear around a corner. Bella and Sofia turned to each other, their faces etched with smiles.

"Hey, let's go...we can't miss the couple show," Bella said jokingly.

"Yes," Sofia agreed. "I can't miss it," she said and pulled Bella's arm.

Daniel, with a gentlemanly gesture, pulls out a chair from the dining table, its legs scraping softly against the floor.

"Here," he offered, gesturing for Lina to sit with a warm smile, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

Lina's face lights up as she accepts the invitation, her eyes widening in anticipation.

As she sits down, her gaze falls upon a sumptuous spread before her. The table is laden with an array of delectable dishes, each one more tantalizing than the last. The aroma of roasted meats, fresh herbs, and savory spices wafts up, teasing her senses.

Lina's eyes dart from one dish to another, her mouth watering in response; she can almost taste the flavors.

Which dish to try first? The tender-looking roast chicken, the creamy pasta, or perhaps the vibrant salad?

Daniel noticed her enthusiasm, chuckled lightly, and took his seat beside her, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Shall we begin?" he asked, his voice low and inviting.

Just as Lina was about to utter the words "Yes, let's eat," two figures burst out of hiding.

Sofia, with her wild curly brown hair and bright hazel eyes, was the first to interrupt. She dashed towards the table, her long flowing skirt rustling against the floor. Her slender fingers grasped the edge of the tablecloth as if she was about to pull herself up into the conversation.

Bella, on the other hand, had a mischievous grin spreading across her heart-shaped face. Her straight raven-black hair is pulled back into a tight ponytail, revealing her striking features. Her dark eyes sparkle with a hint of playfulness as she bounds towards the group, her feet bare and her toes wiggling with anticipation.

"Wait, wait, wait," Sofia exclaimed, her voice husky and urgent. "We can't let you start without us."

Bella chimes in, her voice a perfect harmony with Sofia's, "I'm starving, you can't be so stingy and start without me."

Lina widened her eyes in surprise, her words stuck in her throat. Daniel's eyebrows raised in amusement as he leaned back in his chair, a chuckle rumbling in his chest.

The four of them sat down together, a sense of warmth and camaraderie filling the air.

Daniel and Lina sat at the dining table, their plates filled with a delicious meal. As they began to eat, they became completely absorbed in their own little world, oblivious to the presence of Bella and Sofia, who were watching with interest.

Daniel took a bite of his food, his eyes closing in appreciation of the flavor. Lina noticed his expression, smiled, and nodded in agreement. "This is so good, right?" she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Daniel opened his eyes, his gaze locking onto Lina's. "Mmm, incredible," he replied, his voice low and husky.

Lina smiled. She reached for a bread roll, her hand brushing against Daniel's as she did so. The touch was brief, but it sent a spark of electricity through both of them. They exchanged a glance, and Lina couldn't help but blush.
