One source core to tame the fox

Unlike the silent journey before when only Felix and Eliza were travelling alone, their journey this time was filled with non stop chattering and question from Maria.

Not holding back even a little Maria started asked Eliza about everything from where she was born, what her favourite colour was, what she liked to eat, and more without stopping even for a little while.

Furthermore, every once in a while she'd try to slyly convince Eliza to give up on Felix and go by themselves, while acting completely oblivious to Felix who was right there beside them.

Repeatedly calming himself by telling himself that if it wasn't for the fact that Eliza seemed to love the fox wrapped around her neck, he'd definitely teach Maria a lesson. And it had nothing to do with the fact that she was infinite times stronger than he was.

"Mistress Eliza, why are we following the little boy anyway? You should just come with me! I can take you to the Dao Realm right now!"

Finally unable to control himself anymore Felix decided to do something about the yapping fox.

Speaking in a gentle and coaxing tone Felix said, "Little fox, come here for a second."

The moment Felix said those words, the golden-silver mix fox wrapped around Eliza's neck shot an angry glare towards Felix.

But afraid that Maria might notice it, she turned away from him unless god forbid her finger slips and she kills the boy who her Mistress had a liking to.

Noticing that Maria was still bent on ignoring him, Felix decided to use another approach.

"Hey little fox, let's make a deal!"

Hearing what Felix said, Maria's eyes flashed as she thought up a deal herself.

Immediately jumping off of Maria's shoulders it landed on Felix's head. Sitting on his head it started speaking loftily while making sure her voice couldn't be heard by Eliza.

Looking at how secretive the two of them were being Eliza only narrowed her eyes before not caring about this anymore.

"I have a wonderful deal for you boy. As long as you get away from Mistress Eliza, and don't ever appear in front of us anymore, I'll promise to take you to the Dao Realm immediately!"

Speaking the deal she felt like would be the best for her current and future life with Eliza, Maria looked complacent as if the deal was almost done and she could kick Felix away immediately.

After all, wasn't going to the Dao Realm what every being in the Spirit Realm wanted?

Indeed everyone might want it, but Felix didn't even think that the deal was worth his thought. Putting aside the fact that he'd never give up Eliza, why bother taking someone's help to go up there, when he'd be able to do it in the future anyway?

However, when he heard about Maria trying to so brazenly take Eliza away from him, he made a mental note to reach Maria a lesson in the future.

But, that was for the future. For now, he could only swallow his anger and speak his deal.

"Listen to my deal first little fox."

Ignoring the pain he felt from Maria pulling in his hair when he called her little fox, Felix continued speaking.

"How about you call me Master, and do whatever I say. And in exchange for it, I'll give you this."

As soon as Felix finished speaking and revealed the item he was talking about, Eliza who was angry at him until now and was pulling his hair harder by the second stopped at once.

Looking at the small golden coloured orb in Felix's hand, greed and excitement surfaced in Maria's eyes.

There were only two ways for a silver tailed fox to become a golden one. One of them was to refine their bloodline by secluding themselves for hundreds of years, like Maria previously did. However though it would initially be quite easy, the longer one persisted on it, the harder it would be. And this method didn't even guarantee a 20% success rate.

The other method, however, was almost a 100% sure fire one. But, unlike the first method, not everyone could try the second method. This was because the second method required the source core of a dead Nine-Tailed Golden Fox!

In the whole universe whenever a nine-tailed golden fox appeared it stood at the apex of strength chain making them quite impossible to kill. And even when one died, its source core would case huge wars to rage.

Due to all of these reasons the second method wasn't feasible at all. Not to mention the fact that Maria hadn't heard of any Nine-Tailed Golden Fox dying in the past thousand years.

In fact, the number of Nine-Tailed Golden Foxes were so few in number right now that the death of any one of them would easily shake the world. So, this could only mean the source core in Felix's hand didn't come from any of them.

Didn't that mean that there won't be others searching for this source core and hunt her even if she used it?

Thinking up to here Maria understood that using this source core to become a full fledged Nine-Tailed Golden Fox had zero risks!

Immediately Maria thought of the conditions Felix put forth.

Calling his Master? Wasn't her Mistress's husband her Master?

Do what he says? What could he possibly want other than my body to sleep with or fight for him? His dick is quite satisfying and addicting anyway.

Since there didn't seem to be any problems Maria's fox eyes turned into two crescent moons as happiness was clearly oozing out of them.

"If you thought that you could buy this great and noble, Seven-Tailed Silver Fox, Maria Nelson's loyalty with just a Nine-Tailed Golden Fox's Source Core... Then you were absolutely correct Master!"

If the first part of the sentence caused Felix to feel that he had underestimated Eliza's character, then the second part made his face stay twitching.

The Maria of right now made Felix feel that she seemed quite similar to his previous village's whore, Aunty Sunny, who'd invite every man she saw to sleep with her as long as they pay. While acting like she was doing a selfless service to the whole world.

Throwing the mental picture of the almost old lady spreading her legs while holding a cash box filled with money, Felix gave the sparkly golden orb to Maria without any hesitation.

If it wasn't for the fact that Maria was a nymphomaniac and loved sex so much, it was quite possible that she would just kill him and take the source core away.

Not wasting a second Maria made her body grow big enough that when she opened her mouth, she easily gobbled down the fist-sized source core.

However, what happened next wasn't anything like Felix had expected. There wasn't a huge reaction such as winds flowing, thunders flashing, or any such thing.

With a small 'pyu' sound, Maria who had seven tails immediately sprouted an eight one. As her silver colour was completely taken over by the golden colour.

He truly didn't expect for the transformation of a Seven Tailed Silver Fox into an Eight Tailed Golden Fox to be that simple.

Looking at the satisfied grin in the fox's face, Felix couldn't help but blurt out, "That's it?"

"What else did you expect Master?"

Saying nothing else Maria shrank back again and this time wrapped herself around Felix's neck instead of jumping back onto Eliza's.

This wasn't because of her newfound loyalty or any such thing, but because she found that Felix's body had a peculiar smell which made her body feel attracted towards it. And her Mistress Eliza would also like it if she got along with Felix.

Not knowing this Felix started thinking that even though the fox lady was quite headstrong, she was loyal to her words.

Looking at Felix's face which was glowing as if he achieved something great, and Maria who was sleeping on Felix's shoulders, Eliza instantly understood that their so-called deal was successful.

Not caring too much about the two who suddenly turned chummy, Eliza went back to thinking how many more ways could she have sex with and dominate other women.

Like this, the trio's journey went on as they were soon set to reach the Broken Moon City.
