The best business during war

Going inside the golden house Felix couldn't resist his mouth front twitching when he saw that the insides were made from gold as well. 

Sure it looked rich, grand, and all that, but from the sunlight falling through a window the whole house was shining like a star putting unnecessary strain on the eyes. 

"Umm... Where should I come?"

Entering the house, Felix completely lost control over the space making him unable to sense anything other than what he could see. 

Therefore he could only ask for the house's owner to guide him, which they did. After Felix spoke, his shadow tugged on him and showed which route he should take. 

Though the house wasn't too big to be considered as a mansion, or any such thing, it wasn't too small either. And considering the money it might have taken to procure so much gold and melt it to build the house and all of the furniture inside it, the owner must truly be a greedy person. 

Following the directions his shadow was giving him, Felix walked to what looked like the dining room, and sat down in one of the two chairs and looked at the one who sat opposite to him. On the other side of the golden table. 

Unlike what he expected the greedy person turned out to be a woman. 

Her skin looked like the purest white there was, but her eyes and hair were stark opposite to it, being abysmal black in colour. They were so black that they gave one the impression that the whole world's darkness was contained within them. 

"Who are you boy? I can sense that you were born in the Spirit Realm, but you have the overbearing aura of two Dao Beasts surrounding you."

Hearing the woman's question, Felix understood that she senses Maria's and Vivian's aura from him. 

Not at all surprised at this, since Felix knew how a strong cultivator could not only figure out an individual's cultivation, but could also sense the residual aura on them. 

"You're a Dao Beast as well, and you're in the Spirit Realm yourself."

With neither of them being the first to reveal anything about them, the two of them had reached an impasse, staying silent and only observing each other. Until finally, Felix chose to continue the conversation. 

"Since both of us are trying to be mysterious as long as possible, how about we try something new?"

"Okay, what do you suggest?"

"We both will take turns in asking each other a question, and the other one should answer it honestly."

"Hmmm... Interesting. Fine, I accept. You can go first boy. Ask me anything you want."

Nodding his head Felix didn't even take a few seconds to think, as he asked his question. 

"On a scale of 1 to 10, how attractive am I?"

"To me? A million."

Not even the slightest bit embarrassed, the lady revealed how attractive Felix was to her. 

"Now my turn, how sexy am I?"

Saying so the lady squeezed her voluptuous breasts together and winked at him. 

"If possible I'd love to rip your clothes and fuck you on this very table."

"Oooohhh..."

Since the opening goofy questions of both sides were completed, Felix went straight to the point. 

"What is a Shadow Dragon like you doing in the Spirit Realm?"

Despite being a little surprised that Felix had already found out her identity, the woman calmly answered. 

"I came down here to accumulate wealth, and after finding this place I set up a business which performs the best during wars"

While the lady was speaking, Felix could clearly see how her eyes were filled with greed making him think that it was no wonder she built a house made of gold. 

Probably only someone as greedy as her, would take the risk of coming down from the Dao Realm to set up a business and become rich. 

After all very few would even dare to think of coming to the Spirit Realm from above them because the chance of failure was very high. And failure meant death.

"It's my turn again. What Race are the two Dao Beasts that are travelling with you?"

"A Nine Tailed Golden Fox, and a Vermillion Bird."

Even though the Shadow Dragon expected the answer, she was still a little shaken from knowing that Felix had a relationship with a Nine Tailed Golden Fox. 

"What business are you talking about?"

"Huh? It's prostitution."

Looking at Felix in surprise that he'd both asking such a question, the lady continued. 

"During wars there are many business that boom. Weapons and medical pills are what most people consider as the most successful business, but in fact, it is the brothels which earn the most."

"Just think about it. A soldier when going to fight would buy a few pills, and maybe two spare weapons at most. However, with the fear of looming death all men wish to have sex for one reason or the other."

"It might be to enjoy the carnal pleasure one last time, or to satisfy their instinct to procreate before their death."

"What I'm trying to say is, that regardless of what reason they have, men wish to fuck women the most when they are in a constant state of tension and surrounded by fights and death on all sides."

"You might now know, but this house we are in right now, I built it with the money I obtained after just one war. So try to think about how much I've earned since the past tens of thousands of years."

"When I'm earning so much with every single war, how could I let some idiot dare to copy my business idea?"

Boasting about things he didn't even ask her, the lady continued. 

"Since I've told you so much, I deserve an answer of equal value, right?"

Not even waiting for his reply, she asked Felix the only question she still had. 

"What is your plan in coming here? Are you and the Nine Tailed Fox planning to steal my business?"

Looking defensively at Felix, since she knew how impossible it would be to defeat a Nine Tailed Golden Fox on her own, the lady was secretly racking her brain to come up with a solution for whatever Felix's answer may be.

"Steal your business? I'm afraid there wouldn't be any more business for you after this war."

As Felix explained his intention to completely rule the Spirit Realm, the Shadow Dragon scolded herself for having been too lazy and only profited during the wars. When she could've been the one to rule the Spirit Realm and earn even more riches.
