Get Your Hands Off of My Wife

I felt a rush of intense excitement run throughout my entire body as soon as I laid eyes on the weapon shop that the guard at the high society gate had suggested for me to go to make my new melee weapons.

The structure looked quite nice and was made from a sturdy metal that was painted black with royal blue trimming around it. the building had five stories of rooms, so I had been told even though I could only see three floors from where I was standing at the entrance of the building.

There was an active fountain that was made from marble placed right in front of the shop and I saw that every Terran that was around me was wearing a blue robe that were going all the way down to the ground. I felt as if I was from an entirely different planet since I was wearing my newly acquired battle armor instead of their robes.

As I made my way to the front door of the ship, I could tell that the Terran God was on my side for the fact that I ended up being a healer. I would not give up these perks for anything in the galaxy except for maybe to have a much deeper my love for Nova if something like that was even possibly to occur.

When I made it inside of the building, I saw a large room that had a variety of different types of armor on display throughout it for people to look at through heavy-duty glass.

Against the rear wall I saw a set of stairs that led to the second floor; and to the right of the stairs there was a desk with a display board that said customer service on it in white letters.

"What may I help you with today, sir?" A medium height female that had white colored skin and short black hair asked. she also wore the same kind of clothing that I wore when I went to my Klitron, which told me that she was of the crafter caste.

The only way that someone of that caste would have been able to enter the upper ring of society would be only if they had achieved something great enough to gain the praise of someone of high society. This told me that she was no ordinary crafter.

"Yes, I would like to take a look at the different types of dual scythes that this store sells. You see, one of mine broke during my last mission. " I said out of embarrassment to her because as a former member of this caste I knew the true pain of having to do the maintenance work on someone's weapon; or possibly finding one of my weapons were destroyed. That feeling truly ate at me despite my caste change.

"Okay then, I will take you to the second floor. When we get up there, I will guide you to the section of our shop that is reserved for melee weapons if you will follow me. " she said to me as she bowed to me since I was of a higher and more prestigious caste than her as custom demanded her to do so.

She guided me through the store, trying to avoid contact with the other customers and onto the second floor of the store.

The second floor looked a lot more detailed in design than the first level of the store. Along the walls, I saw the largest variety of different kinds of weapons that I had ever seen in one place. They ranged from snipers all the way to CX-4 explosives.

"So, you requested to see our dual scythes, did you not?" she asked as we turned to the left and made it to the section of the store reserved for melee weapons.

It was very clear that whoever ran the store knew exactly what they were doing when they organized this place. All the weapons that were on display looked quite magnificent in design; but I wondered if these weapons were mostly used for cosmetic reasons since they did not appear to be as sharp as the melee weapons that I was accustomed to seeing while at war.

"Yes, I did ask for that. I was also wondering if you did custom orders at all?" I asked her as I looked at the weapons that were on display and did not think that I wanted any of these specific weapons.

"Yes, we have a forge that is located under street level for such requests. It should also go without being said but I will tell you anyway that custom orders always end up costing you a lot more than the ones that we have in the normal store especially if you do not have the rare or special materials on hand when you place the order." She said to me as a group of four people walked past us in such a rush that the last one bumped both my right shoulder and her left shoulder as she broke through us.

"Hey, no running in the store. You are surrounded by sharp weapons; so slow down." she said as soon as soon as they ran past us.

I saw them look at her and then turned away laughing as they continued their sprint around.

She then ignored them and got back to her discussion with me about the melee weapons that I was going to order.

"I am okay with all of the things that you said about custom orders. As a member of the healer caste, the cost for your services should not be a problem for me."

"Okay, if that is the case, then we will need to make our way down to the forge in the basement so that you can select the materials that you want your weapon to be made out of. The materials that you choose will affect the cost as well as different aspects of your weapon. " She said to me as she turned around and began to walk back down the stairs.

I followed her so that I could make my custom order. it made me feel quite happy because I was finally going to be able to make the melee weapon that I originally drew over four years ago while I was at school.

She led me to the main floor but instead of heading to a side door she walked behind the customer service desk where I saw a metal hatch that did not seem rusty at all as if it was frequently used.

As soon as she made it to the hatch location, she pressed a blue button on the front desk that created a red energy barrier that pulsed every three seconds or so until it disappeared.

Neither the employees nor the customers of the store reacted at the site of this barrier, which meant that it was a common occurrence within the store.

After the barrier was deactivated for a short while, the metal hatch opened, and a rush of hot steam came out and shortly vanished from the site.

"Now that all of the excess heat and steam has escaped, it is safe for us to go down to the forge." the employee said to me as she pressed the button on the front desk again; and then she went through the hatch.

I followed her, and I began to feel the intense heat from underneath my feet began to envelop me, which caused me to intensely sweat as if I was in a steam room. Even though I did not like the feeling of this intense heat, I knew that I had to push through since that is what had to be done to make my first custom melee weapon.

After I made it to the bottom of the ladder, I noticed that there were a set of AI robots as well as a few humans working the machines down here.

"Hello, Miss; have you come here to check on our progress in the new forging method; or have you possibly come to customize a new weapon today?" a black metal bodied AI bot said to the female employee as soon as we both made it down into the forage area of the shop.

"Yes, we have a customer who has come to place an order for a pair of custom dual scythes." She said as she turned and pointed at me.

"Do you have any kind of preference on the type of dual scythes that you want to place an order for us to make for you today." the AI said to me.

"Yes, here it is. I do apologize if it looks distorted or torn up at all since it has been four long years since I originally drew this design. " I told the Ai about as I grabbed a piece of old paper from my left pocket on my belt and handed it to it after opening it up.

"Analyzing... analyzing... this design is quite unique. Did you come up with this and draw it yourself?" it asked me as it was scanning the paper.

"I came up with the original designs; and I had someone draw it out for me if you must know." I said in response to the question that he asked me.

"Okay, the final question that I will have for you before I begin the process of gathering the materials and crafting this item for you is what do you want to focus on the most with this weapon?" he asked me.

"If I had to decide, it would be power that I value the most since the weapon itself has a large amount of speed behind every swing anyway." I told him after I spent a few seconds pacing and thinking about my decision.

"Okay, with all of this information that you have provided for me today, I will begin the process of crafting your weapon right away. It will take at least four whole days to finish. That is all I need from you sir". the AI said to me as he finished using a blue scanner to scan the designs that were on the paper I had given him before turning around and leaving us alone.

The employee climbed back up the ladder, and I quickly followed her until we made it back to the first floor of the store.

After that, she requested my bank card, which I gave to her; and after she scanned it, she handed it back to me.

"Now that your bank information is on file with the store, the payment will be pulled out as soon as the work is completed. we thank you for your business today, sir. " she said to me as she bound to me and left me alone in the store.

Now that I had finally placed my custom order for a replacement melee with them, I need to go back to the strike force building in the middle ring of town so that I can be present for the briefing of our attempt at reclaiming the crate that I had lost.

The city was full of energy and excitement, at least on the main roads, while I walked to my next destination.

When I entered the building, I noticed that there were a lot more people than usual entering around the same time that I was. These people were not all members of strike force teams, which meant that they were probably military individuals that were sent here for our current invasion plan.

Normally I would enter into the middle of strike force meeting room before the mission meeting; but since I knew that we were going to have a much larger meeting today I just entered the back room of the first floor where people were constantly entering and exiting with much haste behind every one of their steps.

Most of the people were gathered around the three columns of tables that were in the room; also, even though it was not required of them all the military members gathered in the left column of tables while the members of the elite military gathered in the center table column. As if they were divided into two armies instead of one.

That told me that the only side that I was going to be able to sit in was the far-right tables of the room.

"Come on baby; I know you want some of me. I mean, what else are you going to do to help relieve any possible tension before we go through such a massive mission today." I heard a male member that was wearing a white suit of armor with a golden lion on it say to Nova as he got all up in her face without any kind of restraint at all.

"I do not have those kinds of urges towards you. I am happily married after all. " Nova said as she began to back away from him and towards the wall.

I made sure to get right behind him, and I made sure that my steps were taken lightly so that he was still somewhat unaware of my presence.

"Come on baby, you know that I can offer you more than that miserable husband of yours ever could." he said as he began to advance closer to Nova.

Before he could make it across the table, I made it behind him and punched him in the jaw with my fists until he hit the floor with a loud thud.

Then I noticed that everyone in the room started to look at me; but they did not say a word or act in his defense at all as if he was finally getting what he deserved.

"What was that for? do you know who I am?" He asked me as he rose to his feet with much rage behind every syllable that left his lips.

Then I saw Nova run around the table and get behind me. She was clinging to me intensely as if she hated this man.

I popped my knuckles as soon as he got up and stared him straight in the face before I knocked him on his ass once again.

"Just so you know I don't give a damn who you are. You will not lay a single finger on my wife if you want to make it out of this room alive. " I said to him as I began to continuously punched him in the face.

No one stopped me, and so I continued to punch him until Nova requested for me to stop punishing him for his sins. As soon as she did, I obeyed her commands because she always had a way to calm me down no matter how infuriated I became.

I truly did not know how far I would go if I ever lost her if I would go this far over someone trying to sexually harass her in my presence only the future would be able to answer that question for me.
