CHAPTER 2

Though the people of Wittleland believed there were no witches,,some witches still roamed but they were afraid to come in the light with the fear of being burnt alive. So many innocent lives were taken simply because they were witches or were related to them.

In the lands of Wittleland being a witch was shunned and they were never taken for granted. People did not wait for things to escalate before they killed the witches by burning them.

Witch was a general term but there were two different types of witches: the dark and the white witches.

The dark witches were the corrupt and evil witches who killed people without thinking and with no reason just to quench their thirst.

On the other hand,, the white witches were those with pure intentions. They did nothing to harm people but instead tried to live among the people.

But according to the people,,a witch is still a witch and they needed to be removed from the surface of the earth. These people forgot that nobody wished to be born as a witch.

Majority of the witches had been burnt while few of them went into hiding.

Robert Wells was also trying his best to protect his family by hiding the nature of his wife Susan. He prayed that their unborn child would turn out to be a human being like himself and and his son. Susan was from the lineage of strong white witches.
