Chapter 12
When morning arrived,, the prince was happy to see and experience a new day without pain. For the first time he felt energized,, his once weak body appeared to have gained strength. The sun had risen and the it's rays passed through the window to bring light and warmth.
Walking towards the window,, he opened it to look outside where he saw someone watering the plants. This must be Benson thought Aiden to himself.
Walking to where the garden was which was not hard to locate,, the prince made his presence known to the man.
"You must be Benson the gardener. Victoria told me that you have white flowers. Can you help me with some so that I can place it in my room. " Benson was startled by the sudden voice because he didn't hear any footsteps.
Who had decided to keep him company this morning?? Benson questioned himself. Sophia was always the one that kept him company but the little girl was mute. Turning around he saw a young boy who appeared to resemble the queen and the king. Bowing down he greeted the prince.
"Good morning my prince,,yes I am Benson," he replied remembering the prince asking a question.
" Great,, can you help me with a white flower then?" With a bright smile he asked.
Taking the flower vase,, Benson handed it to the prince without questioning who gladly accepted and thanking him he left.
From what Benson could remember was that the prince was not in a condition to walk talk of covering the distance from his room . From the rumours that he heard from the maids,, the prince was supposed to be in his room sick or did a miracle occur??
On the other hand Queen Marsha and king Malcom went to see their son which was their usual routine. Reaching near the prince's room they saw that the room was slightly opened. It must be the maid who is cleaning the room thought the king.
Entering the room,,the prince was missing from the bed and his room but where could he be?? Or did the dark witch take him this time?? Were the questions from the royal couple.
Just in time the prince made his appearance at the door carrying a flower vase. Seeing his parents,, Aiden went to place the flower near the window. Turning around he went on to hug his parents who were shocked.
" Good morning mama and papa. It is good to see you here," Aiden said while bowing his head to acknowledge the presence of the king and queen.
Seeing this was enough to break the shock and it earned him a tight hug from his parents.
" If you continue to hug me I will die," Aiden joked making his parents to loosen the hug.
It came as a surprise and a shock towards the king seeing his son healthy without an ounce of pain. While they were enjoying their reunion the butler and a maid arrived.
Rasmus came to inform the king that Edward Mason and Julius Cooper came to visit him while Nora came to clean the room as usual.
" My king,, Sir Edward and Julius are here to meet you," gaining the strength he said.
A silver of annoyance was quick to show on the king which went unnoticed by the butler who had his head lowered. In as much as he wanted to strangle him the king decided not to.
" Rasmus set the table so that we can have our breakfast in the dinning hall today." With this the king left.
" Yes ,, set the table while I clean my son before we have our breakfast. Nora you can clean the room." It was obvious that the queen was happy.
Nora continued with the cleaning while Rasmus went to set the table. It was going to be a short but tiresome day thought the butler.
