Chapter Fourteen

Seth gets to the restaurant first because of his driver, while Ava is stuck in traffic due to how stubborn she is.

Seth looks at his watch hoping, he didn't get stood up. It would be the first time. They have just met and Seth already can't think of a life without her. He sighs waiting at the table.

Ava walks in and walks over to him. He doesn't look.

"Excuse me, sir, did your date not show?" Ava asks as Seth looks up at the girl with a familiar voice.

"Ava, I thought for a second you wouldn't come." Ava frowns before Seth gets up and pulls out Ava's chair to sit.

"I have never missed a business meeting. My schedule is clear for you." Seth's eyebrow shoots up as a mischievous smile spreads across his lips.

Ava clears her throat, "you are my top priority right now." Ava looks at him after saying this and blushes.

"You do know, I like being on top," Seth says grabbing the olive off of his toothpick with his teeth. Ava then looks down at her menu.

"Well, that's good. I see you got a drink before I got here." Ava says, reading the menu.

He sets down the almost full glass and smiles at Ava.

"I just thought, I would enjoy myself before you got here." He smiles at Ava and Ava attempts to not smile back, but she fails.

"It's fascinating, that you turn to drink when I am not around." Ava glares at him as she says this.

"Well I am not as bad as I used to be, I had a rough patch, that I hardly remember after returning home." He winks at her before calling the waiter oner.

The waiter walks over, Ava looks over the menu in disgust there's mostly Seafood on this menu and what isn't Seafood sounds disgusting. Even the salad has caviar or crab in it.

Seth notices her lack of interest in the meal.

The waiter stands there waiting for them to order.

"You know what, I am going to pay for my drink." He smiles and helps Ava up out of her chair. Ava gets up with him smiling.

"I don't like seafood as well, I just heard girls are into such things like this," Seth explains grabbing his cane. Ava hadn't noticed the wolf charm on it. It must symbolize something Ava thinks to herself. What could it be though?

"Yeah, I like to keep fish in the sea or I get sick. It's not like, I am allergic but it is an acquired taste. Don't you think? Also, anybody who could ever tolerate caviar is Looney and or crazy." They both laugh gazing into each other's eyes.

They get out of that place as fast as an Olympic swimmer would do laps around a pool.

"Where would you like to go now?" Ava asks as soon as they get to the street. Seth points his finger straight forward and then says,

"There is a bar that serves really good burgers over there. It's comedy hour we both could use a good laugh and a burger." He puts his hand out for Ava to take. Ava takes it and they walk down the busy street.

This walk is nice until a couple of cuts in front of them. They have almond-colored skin and seem to be in their late 40's but the female is holding onto him like he could take off at any moment. They are an annoying couple, who can't keep their hands off of each other. This couple stops every few seconds to gaze or kiss each other on the cheek.

Ava let out a sigh as she notices their Starbucks cups, they get to enjoy something so delicious. But instead of doing that they keep tasting each other. To be honest, the only reason Ava is mad because she is jealous, she has never had that. Even though her hand is being held. It's not like they are in love with each other, it's also not like they know each other.

Love and acceptance are not much to ask for, from a man. It's like men don't like successful women, they always like a damsel in distress. Ava likes supporting and taking care of the ones she loves. She just wants a man to take care of her and for him to take care of her. That's why she got married in the first place. In sickness and in health but instead, she got a careless muscular brute with a big attitude and a small penis. She never realized how much she was missing. Seth's is wider and longer so it is way more pleasurable and suitable to her body. She never really experienced that kind of level of ecstasy before. It was like Seth was made for her. It wasn't like it was with her Ex-husband even though she loved him she could never feel what Seth gave her that night.

"Shall we?" Seth asks, pulling Ava into the bar.
