it's a coronation

"Knocking her out isn't a bad idea. At least that's better than using our power. Using our power will cause her great harm, and we can't use force as well. Dimitri's blood opposes force; it will react negatively to the expectations when we force-feed Mother," Desmond suggested.

"Oh," Sona commented and cast Sonia a sidelong glance.

"Desmond," Sonia called, ignoring Sona.

"Yes?" Desmond replied.

"Has your reasoning been eaten away by that human, Mina?" she asked calmly.

"Eh? What does this have to do with her?" Desmond asked.

"Knocking Mother out, isn't that an act of disrespect?" Sonia glared furiously at Desmond.

"Tsk...tsk...tsk... brother found a mate already?" Sona quickly diverted her attention away from the mirror and looked at Desmond gossipily.

"Wow dear brother, wow." Snow smiled teasingly.

"No time for that now," Dimitri said seriously. "Sonia, we have no other option but if you have a better option, feel free to share it," he said.

"I have no opinion," Sonia gave up unwillingly.

"Alright, it's decided. We are knocking her out and feeding her the blood after she gives birth. Sonia, the knocking out job will be given to you," Dimitri said.

"Why me?" Sonia asked, dumbfoundedly.

"Isn't it obvious? It's because you are a fox. You have the ability, Sis," Dave rolled his eyes.

"I don't have the heart to do this. How about we feed her during her labour? When she is in the middle of giving birth?" Sonia asked.

"That's better," Dimitri replied.

"When will those fellows come out? We don't know," Snow reminded them.

"No worries, I will visit mother and talk to them," Sona replied.

Everyone nodded in approval.

"Right... a day after tomorrow is my competition so if mother comes, cover up for me," Snow pleaded.

"No problem," Dimitri and Dave replied.

"Thank you, brother," Snow smiled.

"I will visit mother tomorrow," Sona said.

"You don't have a shoot?" Sonia asked.

"Nope," Sona replied and remembered that she still had to dye her hair again. She threw the mirror she was holding away in frustration. "I'm tired of painting my hair!" She placed her cheek on the table pouting like a spoiled child.

Everyone smiled.

The next day,

Devin's Mansion,

Sona, without anyone's knowledge, entered the compound. Even though the gate was a security gate, it did not stop Sona from entering the compound.

Instantly, Sona stepped into the mansion, time seemed to stop, and all the men in the compound were just staring in one direction in a daze. The cameras stopped working, and Sona walked in without any care.

To not startle Emmy by her sudden arrival and to make her aware of her presence, Sona pressed the alarm bell.

Ding! Ding! The bell rang, and Emmy went to open the door. She thought it was one of the men in the house, and as soon as she opened the door, she asked, "What do you want?" She didn't finish her statement when she saw Sona at the entrance, and her jaw almost dropped.

Immediately, she pulled Sona in, closed the door, and locked it safely. "How did you get here, dear? How did you get in?" She asked in worry while he gaze was wandering around, checking if anyone was around.

"Worry not, Mother. You should already know that if I want to see you, then nothing can stop me," Sona reassured her, giving her a warm smile.

Emmy sighed. "Did any of the guards outside see you?" She was clearly still worried.

"Mother, worry not. All of them are under my beauty spell. We can chat freely," Sona replied.

"Sona, my dear, next time when you want to see me, just contact me, okay? Don't you know that what you did today is very risky? What if Devin was around?" Emmy sighed in worry but then she knew she shouldn't be after all with her children ability, dealing with Devin is a piece of cake. "Sit down first". She said

Sona sat down, and Emmy went to get some snacks for her. "How are the others, dear?" Emmy asked as she sat beside Sona. "I'm sorry I didn't fulfill my promise."

Sona shook her head, ignoring Emmy's question, she said. "Mom, I sense their presence," she pointed to Emmy's tummy.

Emmy looked at her belly and sighed. She knew she couldn't hide it from them. "It's the reason I didn't appear before you. I thought you guys would be worried," she smiled. "But don't worry, they are very well-behaved," she said, rubbing her belly lovingly.

Sona looked at Emmy's happy expression and smiled. "Mother, let me chat with them," she said.

Emmy smiled and nodded, thinking that Sona just wanted to communicate with her belly. She suddenly realized that she had mistaken her daughter as a human as she slowly lost consciousness.

With Emmy unconscious, Sona adjusted her perfectly on the chair, and her voice turned cold. "Come out," she said.

Immediately, two shadows emerged from Emmy, one after the other. The shadows did not take any form and were floating in the air.

"Hmph, someone finally decided to visit this Queen," A chillingly arrogant voice resonated, its tone exuding great anger.

Sona frowned. "Why didn't you guys hide yourselves? Why did you allow yourselves to be discovered?" she asked.

Silence.

"I'm talking to both of you," Sona frowned in displeased.

"What do you want me to say? Are you planning to imprison me here? Do you think I don't want to leave here?" the chilling voice sounded annoyed.

"It's not that we wanted to be discovered. Mother wanted to check on her health, and we sensed her unwillingness to die. So, we decided to reveal ourselves to shift her focus from her health to giving birth to a healthy child, especially with the doctor's warning and how she might only give birth to one, the plan worked as she was no longer worried about the poison in her body," a cool voice belonging to the second shadow replied. "There's no need to make a big fuss over this," it added.

"You could have explained earlier," Sona commented, looking at the first shadow.

"If you're here for this, then I'm going back. I'm kind of sleepy," the first shadow's cold voice replied, refusing to comment on Sona's words.

Sona sighed. "When are you guys planning to come out?" she asked.

"I can wait for nine months," the first shadow's cold voice replied. "Even though her stomach is boring, I still love the temperature, so I want to spend a little more time there," it added.

"I see," Sona nodded."wait I need your help with something," Sona said.

The first shadow hissed before asking, "What?"

"We are planning on stepping on humans and becoming the richest in this world to help our mother, but I am afraid she will recognize us on TV. Snow and I will always be shown on TV. You know she didn't want us to work and instead wanted us to study. She wants to provide everything for us, but we don't want that. We want to have money and give her a comfortable life. So, if she happens to be watching TV and sees any of us, don't let her recognize us," Sona said.

The first shadow was silent for a while. "She will still be aware sooner or later," it finally said.

"I know, but we will have succeeded before nine months, by then things will be easier," Sona replied.

"It's not a big deal. I can do that," the first shadow replied.

"That's a deal then," Sona smiled in satisfaction. "That's okay, you can go back," she said.

"Hmph, as if I'm waiting for your approval," the first shadow's cold voice sounded again, and in a blink, it covered Emmy, disappearing immediately.

The second shadow's sigh could be heard loud and clear. "I will leave as well. Take care," it said and followed the first shadow.

Not long after the shadows disappeared, Emmy woke up, looking at Sona and smiling. "You communicated with them? Face to face?" she asked. Although she was aware of her children's incredible abilities, she was still shocked and couldn't believe that someone could communicate with the infant in the stomach, but on the other hand, they are not humans, so it's not too strange and the possibility is high.

Sona nodded. "Mother, you will give birth in nine months, but you have to visit the forest where we were born to avoid attracting unwanted attention," she said.

Emmy nodded in understanding. "I get it. I will visit you guys tomorrow," she smiled.

Sona's smile stiffened. "Isn't tomorrow Snow competition?" She thought inwardly. "Um... Mother, the beasts inside you are a little different. You shouldn't see us 'beasts' regularly, otherwise, the result will be bad," she said.

Emmy was shocked and covered her stomach with her hands. "What will happen to them?" she asked.

"Mother, you have already seen me today, and you know I am a beast. If you see any other beast tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, it will affect the health and growth of the babies inside you," Sona replied with a serious expression. "It's a coronation," she added.

Emmy nodded, "Fine, I will see you guys in a month. That won't affect them, right?" she asked.

"It won't. Once a month is better," Sona replied.

Emmy nodded, "Thankfully, you told me, otherwise, I would have hurt my children unknowingly. I will never forgive myself if that had happened," she said, rubbing her stomach affectionately.

As Emmy had lowered her head, she didn't see the pained expression that briefly appeared on Sona's face. "Mother, I have a class this afternoon. Let me get going," she said, regaining her cheerful self.

"Ah, you're leaving already?" Emmy suddenly didn't want Sona to leave, but she knew she shouldn't be selfish. "Let Mommy make you something to eat. It won't be late, okay?" she said.

"Yes, Mommy, but I will help you," Sona replied and, without waiting for Emmy's rejection, she pulled her to the kitchen.

They chatted and laughed and even prepared advance lunch and ate. Their sweet moment lasted until it was getting closer to the afternoon, and Sona left.

After Sona left, the whole mansion started operating again. Only then did Emmy find out that Sona didn't sneak in but instead used her ability to render the men unconscious and make her way in.

"Oops, shouldn't I have asked her how she managed to locate me?" Emmy slapped her forehead and shook her head. "Some other time then," she murmured and went to her room.
