Birthday party (2)

"Won't you invite me in?" Snow said with a warm smile on her face.

Vivian came back to reality and blinked several times before heading towards Snow. "Snow, are you really the founder of Heaven Treasure, sister?" she asked, feeling shocked.

Snow merely smiled, neither confirming nor rejecting.

"Let young Miss in first, she has been waiting outside for a while," Mr. Friday said, coming back to reality after the moment of revelation.

"Yes," Vivian said happily, escorting Snow inside.

The party started, and the cheers of the people mixed with the loud music made the whole mansion lively. Vivian sat beside Snow and happily chatted with her.

"Hello, beauty," a seductive male voice sounded, drawing both girls' attention to himself.

When Vivian saw who it was, her mouth twitched, and she said to Snow, "This is my brother, George. He is the pervert brother that I told you about," exposing the man openly.

George was dumbfounded and embarrassed. He coughed twice and said, "Young beauty, don't mind her speech. I am not what she described me to be," denying the accusation.

Snow didn't bother to look at him and didn't reply either. She just took a sip of her drink and ignored George.

"Brother, don't cause trouble here. She is not one to be messed with. Don't ruin my party," Vivian said angrily.

"Don't be angry, little sister," George said, casting another look at Snow before leaving.

"Don't mind him," Vivian said, and Snow nodded in reply.

Everyone's focus was on Snow, and some even discussed her. The party continued until a commotion could be heard outside.

It was Vivian who first went out to check what was going on, and Snow also followed.

Outside was a beggar who was trying to find her way in. She looked dirty and unkempt, her clothes torn, almost exposing her breast. Her hair was thick and untidy, and even its color couldn't be identified.

"I want to see the white-haired lady! I want to see the white-haired lady!" the lady shouted at the top of her lungs as the guards tried to chase her away.

Snow went outside, and her gaze landed on the lady who demanded her presence.

When the beggar saw Snow come out, she found strength out of the blue and pushed the guards away. She rushed to Snow and hugged her tightly, staining her fair leg with her dirty body.

Seeing the beggar's action, everyone gasped in shock, expecting Snow to react strongly. However, Snow remained calm and asked, "What do you want?" shocking everyone with her composed demeanor.

The beggar raised her head and stared into Snow's silver eyes. "I saw you help an old woman in need earlier. I believe you are a good person. Please help me. My sister is dying, and I took her to the DE HOSPITAL hospital, but they demanded money that I can't afford. When I saw you help the woman earlier, I knew immediately that you are a good person. I wanted to ask for your help then, but you were faster than me, I could only chase after your car. Please, help me," the beggar pleaded, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Everyone was moved by the beggar's plea.

Snow looked down at the lady who was hugging her tightly and sighed. She had helped the old woman because she sensed her pure soul and willingness to die and escape suffering, most importantly she had helped the old woman merely because Emmy had already told them to help those who deserve it. Sensing the beggar's sincerity and love for her sister, Snow took out a card from her bag and gave it to the beggar. "Go back to the DE HOSPITA. hospital. Give this card to any staff you see. They will definitely accept your sister," she said calmly.

Everyone was shocked.

"Such a kind wealthy girl, she is not like any other wealthy girl," someone commented.

"I knew people who love my idol Phoenix will always be a good person. I have saved a clip of this video, I will make sure to post it to improve my idol reputation and make her aware of how those who copied her hair colour do well because of her," another person commented.

"Goodness, it turns out the beggar was here for help. What a pity," another person commented.

Everyone shared their thoughts and felt touched, except for Vivian, who was rooted in one spot.

"It turns out that she was late to my party because she was helping a woman in need," she thought to herself and felt touched.

Snow looked down at the lady who was hugging her tightly and sighed. She had helped the old woman because she could sense her pure soul and willingness to do right. And more because Emmy had already told them that they should help those who deserve help. She sensed the beggar's soul and saw her sincerity and love for her sister. She removed a card from her bag and gave it to the beggar. "Go back to the DE HOSPITAL hospital, give this card to any staff you see. They will definitely accept your sister," she said calmly.

"Wow, does she have a connection with the owner of the hospital?" everyone was shocked by her words.

"It's easy for wealthy people to be connected," another person commented.

"She just brought out a card and said anyone that saw it among the hospital staff would accept the beggar's sister. What does that supposed to mean?"

"I heard that the CEO of the hospital was a male. Maybe this little wealthy lady was his girlfriend."

"Goodness! Goodness! What kind of shining fortune is this? She's the CEO of Heaven Treasure's sister and now the mysterious CEO of the hospital's girlfriend. Can anyone be as rich as this beauty?"

Everyone made their comments.

The beggar released Snow and collected the card with care, tears welled up in her eyes. "Thank you! Thank you very much," she repeated.

Snow nodded and watched as the lady left.

Only God knows where, how, and when the reports arrived, or should we say appeared. They were taking Snow's pictures nonstop, asking her whether she was indeed the CEO of Heaven Treasure's sister and the girlfriend of the CEO of the DE HOSPITAL.

"Dad, why did you invite the reporters?" Vivian asked Mr. Friday, who was still in shock.

"I didn't," Mr. Friday replied truthfully.

"You did not? Then who did?" Vivian thought.

"Miss, are you the mysterious god of game, Phoenix?" a reporter asked.

"Miss, you have white hair that resembles the god of game, Phoenix. Are you related to her?" another reporter asked.

"Miss, we heard that you are the girlfriend of the CEO of DE HOSPITAL. Is that true?" another reporter asked.

Snow was surrounded by media taking her picture and asking her questions nonstop.

Snow frowned. She wanted to freeze anyone, but she knew she shouldn't use her powers recklessly. She had only brought two guards with her, which was not enough to hold all the reporters back.

Just as she was worried about what to do, a blinding bright light flashed from the distance, brightening the dark night and blinding everyone. The light didn't affect Snow as she used the opportunity to get into her car and drive away.

In the distance, Dave looked at the disappearing Snow car and cursed. "Seriously? I helped her out, and she didn't even say thank you? It's not as if she wasn't aware of my presence." He hissed and drove away.

After the sudden bright light disappeared, everyone came back to reality, but Snow had already disappeared. The reporters sighed in regret and then turned their attention to Vivian, ready to attack her with questions.

Vivian noticed their intentions and immediately disappeared out of sight, locking herself in her room.

The smooth party at the beginning somehow turned terrifying at the end.

Devin Mansion.

Brightness of another day.

Emmy sat on the chair in the living room. The television was on, but her attention was on her flat stomach. She was busy admiring her tummy when she heard, "Miss, you have white hair that resembles the god of the game, Phoenix. Are you related to her?" From the TV.

Emmy raised her head and focused on the TV.
