I have something to tell you

As soon as Emmy raised her head to watch the TV, the power suddenly went off. "What happened?" she wondered and went to the switch, but she didn't know what to do with it. She went back to the living room and tried to turn on the television again, but it didn't work.

"What could have gone wrong with it?" she murmured to herself. When she couldn't figure out what happened to the power, she gave up. "And I wanted to see the lady whose hair was similar to my idol," she murmured in regret.

In the past month, the news of the god of the game, Phoenix, spread like fire all over the world. Emmy was a good fan of the game god Phoenix, and she always watched her show. She even almost dyed her hair like the others, but she stopped herself because she always thought that she had a daughter with white hair as well. But something strange, which she didn't take note of, always happened to her whenever she watched Snow's show or live game. She always failed to identify the resemblance of the hair of the god of the game and Snow. All she knew was that the god of the game always wore a mask and had white hair which she didn't suspect.

Emmy lowered her head and rubbed her stomach, her mood slowly lightening. "Come to think of it, my stomach will start showing signs of my pregnancy. If that happens and I am still living here, I will face endless questions. Seems like I have to find my way away," she thought to herself. "I must leave as early as possible," she murmured to herself and went to the kitchen to cook lunch for herself and the babies inside her.

...

In the evening, Devin arrived, and after changing, he went to the dining room to eat.

"Emmy," Devin suddenly called.

Emmy, who was in the middle of pouring water for Devin, paused, her heart suddenly racing, and she looked at Devin with a questioning gaze.

Devin raised his head and looked into Emmy's eyes. "I knew you didn't have a boyfriend," he said.

Bang! Bang! The jug in Emmy's hand fell on the table, and she looked at Devin with red eyes. Her heart was beating violently. "Did he know about my children? What has he done to them?" she thought. "What have you done?" she asked in an unusually cold, chilling voice.

Devin was shocked by Emmy's coldness as this was the first time she was this cold. He stood up and walked closer to her. "What are you hiding from me, Emmy?" He asked, his handsome, cold face filled with emotions.

The cold air around Emmy slowly disappeared, and she stared at Devin's sincere face, confirming that he wasn't pretending. "He didn't know about my children," she realized, and was somehow calmed. "Erm.. I'm hiding nothing, erm.. it's true I don't have a boyfriend, but I am looking for him. Actually, it goes like this: I saved a little boy when I was young, so I've been trying to look for him," she suddenly remembered something and used it as an excuse immediately.

Hearing Emmy's story, Devin was excited, and he grabbed Emmy's hand. "I am here," he smiled happily.

Huh? "Emmy looked at Devin in confusion. "I know you are here," she replied.

Devin's smile widened. "The person you are looking for is me. Emmy, I didn't know that you also have the same feelings for me. If I had known earlier, I would have proposed to you immediately. I love you, Emmy. I really love you," Devin finally explained himself.

Emmy was looking at the man in front of her speechlessly. "No wonder why he leaves me to do things I want and didn't treat me like a maid. Turns out, this is the reason," she realized. "I get you... I get you... you know what...I saved too many when I was young so I didn't recognize you. Let me go up first," she bowed and ran to her room immediately.

Devin was smiling foolishly to himself, he sat on the chair and ate a little bit more than usual in a happy mood.

...

Emmy slapped her forehead in frustration. "Emmy, oh Emmy, what have you put yourself into? Which spirit even brought you that kind of stupid excuse?" she murmured to herself as she roamed around in her room.

"I can't fall in love, I don't wish to risk my children's safety. Love can change to hatred when it comes to money and fortune. I can't risk my children's safety because of my own selfish feelings," she murmured, realizing her own feelings for Devin. She bounced on the bed with her face up and sighed. "Seems like I have to leave as early as possible," she murmured to herself.

The next day, Devin got a hurried call and have to leave for a business trip immediately, he informed Emmy shortly and left.

Although Emmy was a little sad, she was more happy and wished him well.

Two days after Devin was confirmed to be completely out of the city, she packed the things she would need and left the house. She went to the familiar cave where she and her children first lived and resided.

At Rock School...

Mina sat beside Desmond, who was busy reading, and smiled shyly. It had been days now, and Desmond was looking more handsome day by day; it was as if he was a god.

Every time Mina looked at him, she couldn't help her poor heart from skipping. There was a charm around him that attracted her soul to him.

"You have been staring at me since, aren't you tired?" Desmond's low voice sounded in Mina's ear, making her heart skip a beat. She turned her head around and saw Desmond's face close to her, very close that their lips almost touched. She was breathing heavily, trying to calm her heart.

Desmond chuckled and moved away to avoid giving this poor soul a heart attack. "You can watch as much as you want, feel free," he gave her a charming smile.

Mina's heart finally calmed down, and she gathered her courage to speak. "Desmond, I... I have something to tell you," she clenched her fist nervously.

Desmond looked away from the book and gazed at Mina. "I'm listening," he replied, already guessing what she was about to say.

"I... I... I..." Mina stammered, her heart racing again with nervousness. "I... I want to say that... I."

Desmond looked at Mina with a smiling face, patiently waiting for her unfinished words.

Seeing Desmond looking at her with that smiling face, Mina became even more nervous. Lately, Desmond had been giving her a smile, and it seemed she was the only one he directed it to. She thought maybe Desmond didn't view her as he viewed others and wanted to try her luck by confessing to him. Each time she tried to say it, she would be discouraged, thinking that Desmond would reject her after her confession and would cast her aside. She didn't want to be rejected by Desmond, nor did she want him to keep his distance from her. That's why she kept her feelings to herself, but now it was getting out of control, making her unable to sleep. She decided to try her luck and tell him, hoping he would only reject her feelings and not push her away.

"I... I want to tell you that... I... I... lo-ve yo-u. I love you," she lowered her head immediately, using her hair to hide her face. "I just... want you to know... please... don't distance yourself from me," she stammered in a choked voice.
