An Unexpected Treasure

The sky was dark and overcast and it was all but impossible for Wu Ling and his companions to know exactly how much time they had spent battling against the fierce weather. Everyone was chilled to their bones and only Jin Wuya and Zhang Buyan escaped the accumulation of minor bruises inflicted by the hailstones that had grown from the size of peas to the size of small cherries. 

"Brother Ling," Su Xiang said, shouting over the noise of the wind. "I think we've gone as far as we can in the storm. We should wait it out from here."
