Chapter 2

 ~The Manager~

"Daebak!! ( Wow!.) " Nana's jaw dropped in shock on seeing the latest news on internet. She was still scrolling on it when the door opens and Mokee walk in slouching with her head lowered.

"Hey, you're back! How was the audition? Judging from how solemn you look you must have failed again?" Nana said whilst Mokee only moved to the wall hitting her head on it not too hard but not too soft either.

"Nana..." She calls.

"Uh? What?" Nana answered not looking at her.

"I...am doomed" She mouth, still hitting her head on the wall.

"Hey, hey, hey, come here first. Come and take a look at this! A crazy lady supposedly threw up on Cove Lee the famous actor, have you seen it? Wow, I'm so speechless...how could that happened? This is crazy seriously!" Nana exclaimed while Mokee eyes widened.

"What??" She stop hitting her head.

"Threw...did you say threw up?" Mokee asked carefully.

"Hey, DREAM BIG AGENCY. Isn't that where you had your audition, did you perhaps see it happened? I heard he was rushed to the hospital cause he fainted from shock. Wow, I wonder what crazy woman did that! Her face isn't that clear in the pictures. how disappointing" Nana shakes her head.

"Let...let me see!" Mokee ran to her snatching the phone from her, her eyes widened the more on seeing the pictures of her, when she threw up on the guy at the staircase. She covered her mouth in shock.

"How...how did this..." She shuttered in shock.

"But wait a minute..." Nana held her taking a proper look at her.

"Your outfit...why does it looks just like...OMIGOD!!" Nana gasp loudly.

"You crazy bitch! You....You...." Nana shuttered in extreme shock also.

"Nana..."Mokee pouts, making a puppy face. 

"You crazy girl!" Nana hit her upper arm.

"Ouch!!" She winced.

"I told you, didn't I? I told you to be careful, that's why I told you to take the soup before leaving, what crazy trouble have you gotten yourself into now, you stupid stupid girl!!" Nana scolded hitting her the more.

"Ow! Ow!! It hurts stop it! It's not like I deliberately did that! It was an accident! An accident!!" Mokee defended.

"Accident! This wouldn't have happened if you had listened to me, what are you gonna do now you dumb girl!" She hits her again.

"Stop hitting me I don't know!! Aish, how did that darn pictures go viral, who took them!"

"Is that what's important right now?"Nana asked.

"Cove Lee, what about him, what are you going to do about him, I heard he is in the hospital now, what are you gonna do, what if he press charges against you?" Nana quizzes.

"Hey, he wouldn't go that far. It was just a simple accident, an apology will do"

"A simple accident? Maybe for you, did you forgot he fainted? You, you're in trouble now, he'll never let this go, that guy...he isn't your ordinary guy, he'll probably chased you till the end of the earth if he has to just to get back at you. Do you know how much he values his reputation? You just ruined that there's no way he's letting you get away with this easily!" Nana pointed out.

"You talk as if you know him that deeply, have you met him before? Nana, you...do you have a kind of relationship with him?" Mokee asked with keen interest.

"Ugh! What do I do with this crazy freak?!" Nana sighs out frustrated.

~DH UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL~

"GET OUT! YOU'RE FIRED YOU USELESS BUM!!!" A masculine angry voice bellowed from inside a ward room and just then, a frail looking guy with glasses ran out of the room shivering bumping into Mokee who was approaching the room making her fall to the floor. The guy without apologizing ran off not caring about her.

"What's with him...he can't even apologize. Tch!" Mokee hissed standing back up with a bag in her hand.

"VIP ROOM 2..." She read the sigh on the door.

 "This is it. He's here. Ooof!" She sighs out then made to knock on the door but then halt on hearing some clashing sounds.

"ARGHHHH!!!!" Cove kicked away the basket of fruit his manager brought for him, everything went scattering on the floor.

"Calm down you'll get yourself hurt" Orion, his friend who is sitting on a couch said, without looking at him. His eyes is glued on the phone in his hand rather.

"Hyung, ( older brother) how can you tell me to calm down, have you seen the news?"

"Huh. I'm looking at it right now" Orion replied.

"The internet is burstling with nothing but insult to me and and my career right now, how can I calm down, can I calm down in this situation?? Hyung, you know what I hate most in my life..." He says.

"Huh. Humiliation" Orion replied again.

"Exactly, that just happened to me, I have been humiliated to the whole world!" Cove ranted out.

"But you look okay though...it's a relive it didn't affect your health. I was worried when I heard you fainted" Orion said.

"How could this happened to me, how could this awful...ugh!" He rubs his temple walking to and fro in the room.

"My mental state is in disarray right now, I can't hold it in any longer"

"So, what are you going to do? Just cool down for now, the agency are already taking down the news. You'll be fine" Orion said.

"What's the use when the whole wide world knows about it already! Hmph!" He sat on the bed angrily.

"But who could this lady be, that woke up the sleeping demon in the almighty Cove?" Orion stated jokingly.

"Hyung, I promise once I catch this person, I'm gonna make breathing unbearable for her, all the rest of her life , I'll make her spend it in prison with the dogs. I'm gonna make her feed on pig dung all her life" Cove seethes angrily.

"Ohhh, so scary..." Orion shudders jokingly.

"Just wait and see, I'm gonna make her know what hell feels like...she surely won't get away with this" Cove gritted.

"Oh my..." Mokee's face squeeze where she's standing outside the door.

"This is going to be hard, it surely will...how on earth did I get myself tangled with an unforgiving being like him. I'm really doomed now" She laments silently.

"No, I have no time for this. Let's just beg, I can't afford to go to prison...let's beg. I can't do it. Fighting!" She encourage herself then knock on the door.

"Come in!" A calm masculine voice said from inside. Mokee took one deep breath before opening the door and going in.

Her eyes widened on how messy the room is, so as her grip on the bag she holding tightens on getting a glance at Cove and seeing how angry he is.

"Who are..." She heard a voice and look to her side only to see the same captivating face she saw earlier at the company lounge.

"Oh! You..." Both Orion and her pointed at themselves at the same time.

"Hyung do you know her? Is she your girlfriend?" Cove asked with a furrow brow getting more annoyed by the rough looking lady disrupting his peace.

"Uh? No, but..." Orion chuckles and face Mokee.

"What are you doing here?" He asked her, getting up also.

"Ohhh...I...I'm here to...to...actually to..." Mokee shuttered, suddenly getting scared to talk.

"Who is this dumb girl, Hyung send her out of my room!" Cove said irritated.

"Miss? I'm sorry but this ain't the best time for whatever you might have come from. Why don't you go back for now and come back another time. This friend of mine is in a foul mood right now cause of something unfortunate that happened to him, I don't think the atmosphere is great right now" Orion said politely to Mokee who bit her lower lip.

 Cove frowns more not quite comfortable with what Orion said.

"Yeah...I understand, and to think I'm the cause of that, it's really unfortunate..." Mokee mutters to herself but unfortunately was heard by the two.

"You...don't tell me you..." Cove stood up, pointing a finger at her.

"I didn't mean for that to happened but unfortunately it did. I've caused a big mess to you I'm sorry!...Sir..." She apologize, bowing her head.

"Ohh...ohhh. It was you, it was you...come here, you're dead. Come here..." Cove began going to where she is while she took some steps back.

"You see, I really didn't mean to do that to you, it was an accident" Mokee said.

"Accident or no accident! I'm going to kill you so just get the f**k here!" He began running to her why Mokee run away also.

"It was only a little mistake why are you so stuck up with it. We're humans, we makes mistakes, you should just overlook it why are you so pissed off." Mokee finds herself yelling at him.

"You must be crazy, why don't you wait and let me make a mistake on you too!" Cove retaliated picking up a tangerine on the floor, he threw it at her but she was quick to dodge it.

"You two should stop. Cove stop chasing her!" Orion tries stopping them.

"Look at this man! All I did was an unintentional mistake but what, you wanna make a mistake on me! You must be kidding uh!" Mokee countered.

"Wait and see if I'm kidding or not!" Cove pick another tangerine throwing it at her. She dodge it again.

"Guys sto...ugh!" Orion rubs his temple in frustration.

"Hey, you're not the only victim here! I'm a victim too, do you know how hard it was for me to hold it in, you think I wanted to!"

"And do you know how traumatized I am right now! Just cut the crab and get the f**k here you freak!" Cove yapped.

"How dare you call me a freak! What do you know about me to call me that!!"

"If you're not a freak then what are you uh! You should be begging at my feet right now not aggravating me the more!!!"

"You started it!! I came here to apologize but you attacked me first shit!!"

"Shit?? I'm really gonna kill you!"

"BOTH OF YOU STOP!!!" Orion shouted making then flinches.

"What are you two doing right now, are you kids, uh??"Orion demanded.

"Hyung, even if she gets on her knees and begged I'm not going to forgive her! Never!!" Cove said sternly.

"Wow, what an unbelievable being you are uh?" Mokee sweep up her hair in frustration.

"What?...What did you just call me??" Cove furrows his brows.

"Honestly this isn't my fault alone!"

"What?"

"If you hadn't popped out of nowhere like that I wouldn't have released all that...on you. You scared me so I had no choice also!"

"Wow! Look at her! She's even proud of what she did!" Cove laugh out maliciously.

"Not that I'm proud but I'm saying we should come to an understanding...it's both our fault so we should settle and forget about it, that way we can move on with our lives!"

"You, just come here! I have to kill you.." He made to attack her but Mokee suddenly gagged making him stop involuntary.

He gave her a look.

Seeing him fall for her pretense, Mokee pretentiously gagged again covering her mouth with her palm.

"Hey, wha...what are you doing...don't..." Cove said to her taking a step back.

"Miss, are you alright?" Orion try holding her but she stops him.

"I...hmmm" She gags yet again like she is really gonna vomit.

"Ohhh, Hyung...she's doing it again...she's doing it again..." Cove went behind Orion hiding there.

"Miss..." Orion called.

Mokee swallowed nothing then bring her palm down.

"Yes, I'm fine, I'M SORRY!!!" She says loudly, dump the bag she came with in Orion's hands then ran out of the room leaving them stupefied.

"Wow that freak...what are you doing Hyung, go after her!!" Cove nudges him.

"Uh? Ohhh...I'll be back" Orion said running out of the room also.

"Owww! This is killing me seriously! Ugh!! I'm so annoyed!!" Cove ruffles his hair roughly.

On running outside, Orion looked around but couldn't find her anymore strangely. It was as if she disappeared.

She was no where in sight.

"Ooof! Where did she go...?" He thought out loud.

Mokee who was hiding behind a pillar sighs watching him.

"Aish...why does he have to be there...I'm so unlucky seriously..." She itches her hair. 

Since he couldn't see her in sight, Orion decided to go back inside. On seeing this, Mokee also came out of her hiding but the moment she did a car suddenly drove roughly to her side almost knocking her over.

"Ahh!!" She flinches falling on her butt.

Thankfully the car stops before it could hit her, and the door opens with a guy rushing out of it.

"Miss, are you okay?" The guy drop to a squat in front of her holding her arm.

"Yeah, I'm okay...i_"

"Oh! Mokee!" The guy suddenly called on seeing her face.

"Mokee it's you! It's you!! Don't you remember me? It's me, Cody, Cody Kim from high school don't you remember?" The excited guy asked Mokee who just watches him in surprise.

"Wow, what a surprise seeing you here. Come on" He helped her up.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Huh. I am" Mokee replied dusting herself.

"So, do you remember me now?" Cody asked. Mokee reluctantly nodded.

"Wow, it's really been long, isn't it? What are you doing here, are you here to see someone?" He asked.

"Uh? Umm, a friend, I'm just visiting a friend. You?" Mokee asked.

"A star I'm managing got hurt a little, he's admitted here" He answered.

"Star?" Mokee asked.

"Huh. I became a president. I have my own agency now. Right, here?" He brought out his business card from his pocket and gave it to her.

"DB AGENCY...DREAM BIG??" Mokee asked astonished.

"You...you're the president there?"

"Huh. I made it big, didn't I?" He chuckles.

"So, you? What are you doing?" Cody quizzes.

"Uh? I...I am..."

"Right, I shouldn't asked. With what happened to you, you must still be struggling to get over it. Forget I asked that. How's your family doing? Are you coping?" He asked curiously.

"Well, we're doing fine..."

"I doubt that. Anyways I'm really busy so I have to go now, let's talk another time and if you feel uncomfortable anywhere, you can visit me, I'll take responsibility for what happened today. Come, you're welcome at any time okay?"

"Uh..I..."

"I'll see you again. Bye" He pats her then went inside the hospital. Mokee looks at the card and sighs.

"What an ill luck I have really..." She mumbles.

"So, you mean you met that annoying senior from high school and he's a big shot now?" Nana asked while Mokee only nodded.

"Nana, why am I so unlucky this days? I keep bumping into annoying people..." She mutters opening a can of beer.

"No, I don't think so, this might be for the better. You said he's the president for DREAM BIG. this might actually be a blessing in disguise" Nana said.

"What nonsense are you saying...what blessing?" She took a gulp.

"Hey, think about it, that dumb guy had a crush on you in high school and even confessed"

"And I rejected him, publicly" Mokee cuts in.

"Exactly. He should probably hates you for that but even after seeing you again he was happy to see you and even invited you to his office. It's an opportunity for you to finally achieve your dream and get out of this pithole of hell."

"What do you mean?"

"He might still likes you. And if he still does that is an advantage for you. Get close to him and use him to achieve your dream" Nana advised.

"Hey, what are you saying? I can't do that"

"Why can't you? Hey, wake up to reality. This is a one lifetime opportunity. Quit being innocent and kindhearted and just go for it. Do you want to spend the rest of your life paying for debts that never decrease and work like a slave like this? Aren't you tired?"

"I am but...ugh" She sighs.

"I'm not the same Mokee. He won't...you know" She mutters.

"You may not have the money and fame any longer but you still got the looks and vigor. You can do this girl. Go see him tomorrow and change your life for the better"

"Nana, I don't think this is a good idea, I..."

"If you continue like this you're gonna end up in prison. That guy, Cove or whatever his name is. You said he was damn angry. What if he throws you in prison, what about your dream then? Your Father and your younger brother, what do you think will happen to them? With Cody's help, you can solve all problems right now can't you see? Think girl...you don't know what luck just come your way. Think" Nana pats her then stood up.

"Where are you going?" Mokee asked.

"To prepare the dress you're gonna wear tomorrow. You have to look presentable. Sexy at least" She winks while Mokee just sighs.

"Why do I feel like I'm being sold out for money in the most filthiest way...I feel awful"

~NEXT DAY~

Mokee opens the door which she presumed to be his bedroom and found him sprawled on the bed, sleeping soundly. She heaves a sigh then walked further into the room and stop by his bedside. She clears her throat then voiced out.

"Mr Cove, wake up it's morning..." She says in the gentlest, softest sweet voice she has gotten.

No movement came from him who just keep sleeping. Only his light snores could be heard.

"It's okay, let's try again" Mokee said to herself then she taps him.

"Wake up Mr Cove, it's morning and you have an interview to attend" She says softly again. This time, Cove groans tossing on the bed.

"Go away..." He mumbles covering himself whole with the duvet.

Mokee looks at the time at her wristwatch and sighs.

"Is he kidding me, it's 10 already" She clenched her teeth.

"Mr Cove, Mr Cove you have to get up. You have an interview meeting to get to in less than two hours. You have to start getting ready" She says politely pulling the duvet away from him.

"Aish...so noisy....get lost you're disrupting my peace" He grumbles pulling it back.

"Mr Cove, please get up...we don't have much time...Mr Cove."

"I said get lost...leave me alone!" He pulled the duvet aggressively from her but that made her got dragged to him, and she falls on him directly.

"Aish! Who the F are you, why are you_ahhh!!" He screams out on pulling away the duvet from his face only to see an image like that of a female ghost right in front of his face.

 Mokee's hair was actually poured down veiling her face and that gave him the wrong idea.

"What are you, a ghost or a human?" He asked, with his heart racing.

Mokee sweep aside the hair covering her face and smile creepily at him.

"Your Manager" 

"Ohh! Ohh shit! You...the...the..." Cove pointed at her surprisingly while Mokee stood away from him. She bows slightly and introduced herself.

"Beautiful morning, Mr Cove, I am Mokee Jung and from now on I'll be your manager. I hope we get along with each other" She smiles brightly, while Cove just stares at her.
