"I want a truthful answer, yes or no, are you the woman whom I had a one night stand with?!" He shot her a glare and Cassy dropped everything she was doing on the bed.

She gulped in, heaving heavily.

"Baby, what happened?" Quietly, she attempted to switch to another topic but he stopped her. Knowing it wasn't going to be good to tell him the truth, she decided to run.

Swiftly she turned to the other door on the west wing of the room, pulling the knob open but it wouldn't bulge. She scanned around the room and spotted the remote on the glass table.

She ran towards it unfortunately, Lucian beat her to it and gripped her left arm. He twisted it to her back, and shifted the sleeves she was wearing to her elbow level.

"Where is the hickey?"

"I don–t understand what you mean. I truly don't. Lucian, we can talk this quietly and maturely. I didn't deceive you, I– promise" She stuttered all the way, her voice barely audible to him.

"Deceive me? Oh yes, you did! For a year and a month plus you've pretended to be someone you are not! When we got together, what did I tell you I hated?" His grip tightening on her arm, piercing her skin and putting pressure on her bone.

"You said you hated pretense the most, you hated women and you hated being lied to and deceived." Cassy quivered under his touch, his green almond eyes fixed on her.

This was the most beautiful pair of eyes she had ever seen but under some circumstances, it wasn't pretty! It was bloodthirsty.

"And what did you do? Do you know your mistake of ever lying to me?" He yelled, pulling her with his strength towards the wall. He slammed her on the wall painfully, using both his hands to obstruct her. "Cassy, you will pay for this!"

"No, not my mother…please not my mother," As she stared into those eyes, an inexplicable revenge was in it. Weakly, she fell to her knees, clutching onto his trousers. "Anything but my mother! I beg of you."

"Who sent you! Tell me who sent you!" Indifferently, he gazed down on her. His presence is not so easily ignored. "You don't want to talk? I will make you talk!" He reached for his phone in his pocket and took it out, dialing numbers on its call pad.

"Withdraw our funds from Cassy's mothers healthcare! I don't care if the hospital has been imbursed for this month!"

"Please…don't do that Lucian. I love you." She tugged even harder on his pants. She couldn't lose out on both ways. Her mother was critically ill and needed money to pay off her medical debt. It was all sorted out when Lucian and she got together.

How will she be able to foot those million and above bills all by herself?

"Keep your deceptive love to yourself! Get out of my sight Cassy, Get out of my sight!" He roared, instantly loosening his grip on her arms.

"Lucian—" Cassy called out, tears trending down from her cheeks. "Even though it was only a year and a month that we've been together, I can't imagine a day without you. I know I got entangled with you for a different motive, but I truly love you."

"What is love? What is love that you open your lying lips and talk about? You don't deserve to even call your stinking act love!" Lucian didn't back down. He went into the room, opening up the closet and dragging out her luggages. "Get out!"

"Lucian, I know…I am wrong. I am very wrong!"

"It is too late Cassy! Whoever sent you, I am coming for that person, mark my words!" He yelled, tossing her clothes on the ground from each hanger and ordering Carl to take her out of his sight. "Useless! What does she think Love means!" He hollered after she had left his room.

Minutes later, Carl came in with a dejected look. He placed his medicine on the table and a glass of water.

"Take it, Master. You must have over-exercised your limbs. Take it before it hurts much!" Carl cried out as he saw Lucian in great discomfort. He lowered himself to help with the ache but Lucian pushed him away.

"Get away! Go away!" He shouted, and despite Carl's pleas, Lucian didn't want to take the medicine. He threw it on the ground and poured the water on the ground. "I want to be at peace, Carl. Don't make me fire you."

"I will be on my way, Master." Carl gave up and made his way out of the room, his head lowered. He knew something was going on when Cassy stood out of the house for more than five minutes, crying and begging.

He didn't want to pry into their private life but wanted to know what exactly it was. Cassy was well favored by Lucian. No matter what argument arose between them, Lucian would never treat Cassy like that.

He loved her and everyone saw that he loved her truly. What could have gone wrong? He truly couldn't understand but he had to keep shut for his life.

He closed the room, and leaned on the door to see if he could hear anything.

Meanwhile, the darkness clouded Lucian as he gazed at the half side photo of the girl's face. The picture was taken from the CCTV of the hotel they had the one night stand in.

And ever since then, she had been his obsession. Every girl he dated during that span of a year and six months that they met, didn't give him the feeling she gave him.

Everything was empty! He was empty.

"I hate you but I can't stop loving you more. Do you know what your disappearance has caused me? I am literally a mad man in love with no direction. Why can't you just appear for once? Did you have to go into the unknown and make me look for you? Didn't you promise to stay with me?"

Lucian fell to the ground, his head lowered on the ground. No matter how much he thought of it, he still couldn't let go that he had missed the chance to be the woman who made him feel like a King just in one night stand.

Flashback, A year and Six Months ago,

The room erupts in different moans as both of them reach their climax. They fell on each other, their breaths sync together. The dark knight had once proved to be solemn for both of them.

Lying in his embrace, Lucian traced her face with his fingers, raising her flustered cheeks up.

"You are very beautiful. Those your ocean blue eyes are one of the prettiest things I have ever seen." She flustered, her cheeks puffed up in red. She leaned in closer, tracing her fingers along his collarbone.

"I wish this night didn't have to end. I just wish I could be with you till the end of time. I know I got my feelings mixed up, I know I made a mistake but I feel good knowing you were my mistakes." She muttered and Lucian's eyes toned darker.

How could he forget that this was only a night stand? A short period of intimacy. Was he really selfish to beg her to stay with him?

"I don't want to be your mistake. I want to be in your life, I want to hold you and walk down the aisle."

"I am sorry, I can't. I am already in love with someone else." Her eyes dimmed, her expression very serious. He was making her feel guilty and she didn't want it.

"It doesn't matter. I can get rid of that person just to be with you. Don't leave yet, Arielle, don't leave. Just stay till tomorrow. I promise I will find a way for both of us to be together."

"Lucian, do you trust me? If you do, go to bed. I am not going anywhere,"

End of Flashback….

He bitterly sat on the ground, the memories of their one night-stand refreshing in his head. He was in pain. He felt cheated! Cruelly, he rose from the chair, tearing the picture into two and scattering on the floor.

"You told me you'd fucking stay with me! You promised! I trusted you, Arielle! I will find you and I will make you pay for breaking me! I will, I swear on my life!" He gazed at the spilled water on the ground. "My phone…"

He tapped on Collins' call identity and dialed his number. Second after ringing, Collins picked up expecting to hear a raging voice, but he was proven wrong.

"Collins," He ruthlessly spoke, his voice lifeless and cold as ice. Collins noticed the sharp chilling atmosphere and asked.

"Boss, you okay? Should I come over?" Collins questioned his voice, shaking from thinking Lucian might be hurt. He shouldn't have sent the picture, he shouldn't have!

But then again, if Lucian found out by himself, he and Cassy would be in big trouble. He did the right thing! Yes he did.

"I want her dead! I want her to suffer."

"Uhm, Boss, I don't think I understand what you mean. Do you mean Cassy or the mystery girl you are obsessed with?"

"I want you to make a broadcast of something. Publish on the news that if a person with a hickey mark on her lower arm and a mole on her belly button is found, that she would be rewarded with two million dollars. Since she slept with me for money, she might as well go to hell with that same money! Search every bar, pick every trace. I want her before me pleading!"

Lucian balled his hand, a reminder of his hatred for her. She fixed his heart only to break it mercilessly. Wasn't it money she wanted? Oh, she will get the money! She will…

"Two Million Dollars? Boss, this is an obsession you are having over this girl! You have to…"

"Just do what I tell you to do. Never question my authority." He cut the phone call, and smirked. It shouldn't take a while for her to be captivated by the money. "Carl, as for Cassy, I want all her credit cards to be blocked. Her identity as my fiancè is gone. Is that understood?"

"Yes Master Lucian!"
