CHAPTER 17
Let's break up" Jaden said and Elisa became surprise.
"What have I done, please forgive me, I did not cheat on you, believe me please"
"That is in the past, let's not see each other anymore, goodbye" Jaden and left her place.
Elisa broke down in tears.
It was really sad for her, her heart hurt a lot.
She continue crying without anyone to console her.
The unknown guy stare at her and pity her, he know he is the cause of this and he will make sure he have her but will never let her know he is the masked guy.
Seeing how sad she was he became guilty and he left the place sadly.

Jaden also got into his car and rest his head on the wheel sadly.
He is hurt also for breaking up with her but he believes that is the best solution.
After a while he drove home and he began thinking of Elisa.
For him to forget about her, he took some wine in the cellar and began drinking.
Brian got in later and met him that way and he quickly rush to collect the wine from him.
"Why are you like this?" He asked.
"I broke up with her" he said sadly.
"Why did you have to break up with her?" He asked.
"Well she is cheating on me" he said
"Are you really sure about this, did you caught her? " He asked.
"No but anytime I go to her house I hear voices, professing love to her"
"Then did you see anybody in the house"
"I found no one"
"Then you shouldn't have break up with her"
"Well I have done it already and there is no going back" he said.
"Just like that?" Brian asked.
"Yes" he answered.
Brian let him be and went into his room.
Jaden began thinking of Elisa an how hurt she will be but he later shrug off the thought and he went to sleep.

Elisa cried till she slept off.
She woke up later in the evening with her eyes swollen.
For days, she did not go out, she stay indoors crying her eyes out.
Her employees did not see her at work and also her fans did not see her and they became worried about her.
Her friends called her multiple times but she did no pick up their call.
They decided to visit when they could not hear from her for days.
When they got to her place they open the door and went in and they saw on the couch crying while looking so unkept.
They quickly rush to her and they ask her why she was crying and looking that way.
"He broke up with me" she said in tears.
"Why will he break with you?" Katherine ask her.
Then Elisa explained everything to them all.
"Oh he does not really love you for him to break up that easily"
"Well let's just forget about him.
They tried to console Elisa and she stop crying for a while.
They notice she has not been eating so they force her to eat and she ate a bit.
Later in the evening they bade her goodbye and leave.
She became sad again after they left.

The unknown guy is happy and also sad about Elisa's break up.
He was happy because he now have a chance with her and sad because he is the cause of her break up.
He decided to have his chance with her now that she is single.

Jaden got to work after two days of staying at home an his employees greet him but he just walk past them to his office.
He was looking so gloomy and not his usual self.
Stephanie was in her office about to call Jaden when she saw him walk past there.
She quickly stood up and rush out to his office.
She got there and saw him sitting down.
" Good morning boss" she said bowing.
"Morning" he answered.
"Why haven't you be at work for two days now"
"Why questioning me? " he asked coldly.
"Nothing boss, I was just concerned" she said.
"Well I broke up with my girlfriend and it hurt a lot"
"Oh sorry about that" she said and sat down.
"I wish I could lessen your pain"
"You don't have to worry, I will be fine, you can go back to work" he said but she refuse to leave.
She stood up and walk closer to him and she touch him.
"Sorry boss, I know how you feel" she said then suddenly kiss him.
After a while she broke the kiss and stare at him.
He also stare into her eyes looking surprised.
They both began staring at each other.
After a while Stephanie broke the stare and quickly went out.
Jaden began thinking why she will kiss him suddenly and why he couldn't do anything to her.
He later shrug it off and begin working.

Stephanie got to her office and facepalm herself.
"Why did you have to do that" she said to herself.
"I hope he doesn't see me as a white" she said.
"I love the way his lips taste on mine" she said dreamily smiling to herself.
The open of the door brought her back to reality and she quickly went to her seat.
It was one of the employees, he came to collect something from her.
He got what he wanted and went out.
Stephanie also continue her work but anytime she think of the kiss she smile to herself.

Jaden later finish work in the evening and was going home when he saw Stephanie outside the company waiting for a cab.
He stop the car and got down then approach her.
Stephanie on seeing him put her face down.
"Get into the car and let's go" he said.
"I will take a cab, do not worry"
"You always jump at the offer before so what is wrong now"
"Nothing boss" she said avoiding eye contact.
"When you know you will be this shy, why did you have to do it? " he asked.
"What are you talking about" she said finally raising her head.
"You don't have to pretend"
"I am sorry for doing that, I guess I am not in my right senses then.
"It is okay, can we go now? " he asked.
"Sure" she said they both walk to the car.
She quickly went to sit at the back seat andJaden let her do her thing.
They drove out and whenshe goto her place she got down and rush into the house.
Jaden smile at her attitude and he drove away.

Elisa call Jaden multiple times but he did not pick up, she text him also but he did not reply.
She decided to forget about h and move on with her life.
She dress up the next day and went to work.
When her staffs saw her they became happy to see her again.
"Welcome back booss" they all chorus.
"Thank you all" she said giving them a warm smile and she went to her office.
She began working without stopping.
The staffs also began working happily.
Her fans heard about her break up and they were sad for her to h extent that they were throwing hateful words at Jaden.
When they also hate about her come back they were so happy for her.
She concluded in her mind not to give any guy a chance anymore so as not to be hurt again.
She will just focus on her career.
Her parents all heard about the break up and they were sad for her.
They began hating Jaden after they heard about this.

Sofia on her own was busy putting her plan into use.
She search for documents to Elisa's parents properties but she could not find it.
During her search somebody was watching her from behind but she didn't notice him.
The guy began wondering what she was searching for in their room but he coul not get.
He call Jaden and told him what he saw.
"I knew that bitch is up to no good" he said angrily after dropping the call.

Elisa finish work later and she went out.
She got to her car and was about going on when she felt weak and she began falling.
Then somebody quickly help her from falling.
She opened her eyes to see who help her from falling and then she saw a strange handsome guy.
The guy took her and made her sit then he quickly went to a nearby place to get food for her.
He came back later and he gave her to eat.
She began eating in a rush and after a while she was done.
"Thanks for the meal" she said.
"You are welcome, my name is Noah Taylor" he said to her.
"I am.... "
"Elisa Parker" he completed.
"Who wouldn't know the famous writer" he said and Elisa feel hmoured.
"Can I have your number please"
'Okay that is no problem" she said and they exchange contact then she went into her car and drove off.
Noah also left.
