CHAPTER 18

Noah got back home happily that finally he has a chance with her

He got home and sat down and then he call Elisa to ask her if she has gotten home.

Elisa got home and then she sat down to rest when her phone began ringing.

She check it then saw an unknown number.

She pick it anyway.

After picking up the person speak up.

"It is me Noah, have you gotten home"

"Oh, yeah I have gotten home" she said to him.

"That is good, make sure you rest well"

"Alright I will" she replied him.

"Okay, will talk to you later, make sure you save my number" he said.

"Alright I will" she said then cut the call.

After dropping her phone her mind went back to Jaden and she became sad.

"I wish you did not leave me" she said sadly but she later shrug off the thought

She went to her room and she change her cloth and she came down for dinner and after she finish eating, she went to sleep.

Jaden was in his home when someone call him and on seeing the caller he realise it is Stephanie.

He pick up the call.

"Hello, what did you want" he said coldly to her.

"I am sorry boss, I just feel bored at home and I need someone to keep me company and my mind went to you"

"And what did you want me to do about that?" He asked.

"Please can you come to my place or should I come to yours? "

"No you can't, we can only be together at work but not off work"

"Please boss"

"No Stephanie, don't overstep your boundary" he said to her then he cut off the call.

"I think I have given her too much freedom for her to do that" he said.

Stephanie was in her room feeling sad for the way Jaden talk to her.

She decided to let it go and began operating her phone.

The next day, Elisa woke up and went to take her bath and then she was dressing up when Noah call came in.

She pick it up and then they began talking.

"Helo, how are you today?

"I am fine"

"Good, please can we have dinner today?"

"No, we can't"

"Please grant this"

"Okay, I will think about it"

"Alright, I will be waiting for your call" he said then she hang up and continue with what she is doing.

She finish dressing up and then she went to eat her breakfast and she left for work.

Jaden also woke up later and went to work.

He got to work and then he went into his office.

Immediately Stephanie saw him she went out of her office to his own office.

She got in and greet him.

"Good morning sir" she said.

"Morning, what is my schedule today?" He asked coldly and she told him.

After that he told her to go out and she did immediately.

Jaden also began working.

Sofia began searching for the document and after searching for a while she got it and she quickly took it to her room.

She then call the person and told him/her about the document and the person commend her.

She cut the call after speaking with the person and she keep the document somewhere.

Later in the evening, Elisa went to meet Noah at the location he send and they sat down together and ate dinner while talking about each other.

Elisa find him interesting but she didn't want to go into any relationship again for now.

She can't trust any man again.

After some hours they both left and when she got home she called her friends and told them about Noah.

"Don't give him any chance, don't let what happened to you the first time happen to you again" they advise and she agree.

Jaden finish work also and Stephanie follow him as usual and he drop her home and drove to his house also.

AFTER A MONTH

Noah keep on disturbing Elisa but she made him understand she is not ready for any relationship for now.

Stephanie and Jaden also has gotten so close and he also began falling for Stephanie.

He became so fond of her and Stephanie also could see this in him and she became happy about it.

He decided to confess his feelings to her.

They were going for lunch one day when Jaden told her that he has something to say to her.

She began thinking he want to confess his feelings.

"I love ... " he was saying when he stop.
