Going outside

" I shouldn't have cried that much yesterday…"

She regretted it—albeit a little belatedly—but still, her light-headedness hadn't returned to normal just yet. The bitter medicine was only soothing her dizziness at most, leaving a lingering feeling of exhaustion. Her eyes felt swollen, and she could still taste the salt of her tears on her lips.

"Just take a nap."

Raven touched her hair, ever so gently, his fingers brushing through her soft strands with a tenderness that spoke volumes. His touch was like a balm to her frazzled nerves, calming and steadying her in a way that words couldn't.

"The doctor advised you to sleep tight. So, close your eyes and sleep well."

"But…"

Raven's hand eventually blocked her view, the warmth of his palm creating a cocoon of darkness around her eyes.

The gesture was gentle yet firm, coaxing her to rest. As he was saying that, a clear voice had suddenly popped out while she was closing her eyes gently.
