She knew that, but Seraphina still felt a little heavy-hearted receiving gifts so suddenly.The duchy's wealth was indeed hers by right, but the sudden influx of luxurious items made her feel indebted.

She glanced around the room, her eyes lingering on the other gifts she had received – a silk scarf draped over a chair, a beautifully bound book on the table, a delicate vase filled with fresh flowers.

"But I still want to do something for you, as much as you've given me. Well, maybe next time I could embroider your handkerchief. Or maybe, I should study to make some new cookies," she rambled, her mind racing with ideas. The thought of doing something special for him filled her with determination.
