Seraphina's resolve

"You think that it has already been a few days since she hurt you, but that was just yesterday. She scratched you—yesterday," Raven repeated, his voice laced with frustration and concern. He could still see the faint marks on Seraphina's delicate skin, a cruel reminder of the previous day's events.

"I know, but it's not a scratch." Seraphina replied softly, her eyes meeting his with a mixture of defiance and vulnerability.

"You know that, yet you are still going to invite her?" Raven's brows furrowed, his protective instincts flaring up.

Raven heaved a deep sigh before shaking his head. "No way, Seraphina. She can't attend. If you are still going to invite her, I'll be there as well."

"Don't worry. Now that we don't have to face each other in private places anymore." Seraphina's voice was calm, but there was a determined edge to it.

"What are you talking about?" Raven asked, confused by her words.
