A knight's loyalty

As the night deepened and the household quieted down, Raven carefully rose from his seat.

He planted a gentle kiss on Seraphina's cheek before covering her with a blanket, making sure she was comfortable before he quietly slipped out of the room.

The lights in the study flicked on as Raven entered.

Lyndon, who had been waiting, immediately bowed his head in respect. Raven's dark eyes locked onto Lyndon.

"Report to me every single detail of what happened today," Raven directly ordered this poor knight.

Lyndon began to recount Seraphina's activities in meticulous detail. He described everything, from when she got on and off the carriage to the gifts she had purchased, leaving nothing out.

Except for one crucial detail—her encounter with Ferdinand Werner.

When Lyndon finished his report, a tense silence filled the room. Raven's fingers drummed lightly on the table, the sound echoing in the quiet study.
