Marquis's Helplessness

The terrible sense of death had finally brought Ferdinand back to his senses. He even soiled himself in his fear.

Raven clicked his tongue before turning his head away.

"Tie him up and drag him away. Killing him now would just be unpleasant, and it's not time for that yet."

"Understood."

The knights instantly moved in unison at Raven's words. Although Ferdinand was the heir of a Marquis, no one cared about him. Rather, beatings done under the guise of tying him up would be shown sometimes.

"Seraphina, are you okay?"

Seraphina, who was right next to the aiding knight, gave a light nod. Raven lifted her up, still looking pitifully pale.

"Let's go home. It's too cold here."

Seraphina tried to answer with a yes, but no words came out. Even her spirit, which was just recovering from the shock, was still in a daze.

'I have so much to say.'
