Chapter 4: There it is HIS NAME

"Oh? You're that junior," he commented, and I bet Hana was flustered

"Senpai!" She said, and I heard her really cracking her voice.

She does know who he is. He was the guy I was looking for, you stupid. I said in my brain.

"Here you go, and let me take that back," he said, bending down to remove his jacket on my head.

"See you again, Aki~," he said, and his voice was so tender and smooth this time. Does he talk like this to everyone? And he just said my name!

"What's going on? What's going on?" Hana was excited to hear the story, but I was curious about who he was.

"I just met him at the train station," I replied, and her grip was even tighter now.

There's no stopping this, but I told her the story, and she was out of fused. I mean, she can't absorb that much information.

"How's your heart? Are you okay?" she asked while checking my pulse and everything.

"I calmed down now," I replied

"Hana~ do you know him? I asked her, and I could hear her snickering.

"How can I not know him. He is a baseball player, you know, that guy who went for U17 in high school. He's famous, you know," she told me excitedly.

"Do you know the guy I have been waiting for years?" I told her, and even though I could not see her reaction. I can sense her excitement.

"Don't tell me he was really the guy you were waiting for? He is Kawashima Kiyoshi-senpai," she said, cheering while holding my hands.

"You already brushed off his fingerprints on my hand," I told her, immediately keeping it in my pocket.

"So, how do you feel? Did you feel that tingling feeling? Or butterflies in your stomach, or---" I can't shut her up when she's excited.

"Ackk! Do you still carry it with you?" She asked

"Carry what?" I asked her again

"The umbrella! You stupid. That umbrella became one of your precious items, you know; you never even used it or let me borrow it," She said.

"Well, it is not mine, so why would I use it" I replied.

"Let me see your schedule again, and I will help you count the steps and time to your assigned classroom and everywhere. I can even show you how many steps from here to their dormitory." She said, which made me slap her back because she continuously annoyed me.

"Stop it. I already gathered that much attention," I told her again.

"I know he was offered a professional league, yet he continued college. Did he perhaps reject the offer?" she asked.

"How can I know" I replied

"You know I really like someone close to him. Maybe we can snatch them away later," she said with evil intentions.

"It's not like I want to be in a romantic relationship with someone," I replied.

Yes! All I wanted was to know his name and to bring back his umbrella. Nothing more and nothing less.

"You do know that he and my crush own this sophisticated bar or café near the school." She had so much information about them; is she a stalker? Hmmm.

"You know our school was famous for baseball because of the two. He was the pitcher, and Mukai Kichiro was his catcher," she replied.

I want to know more. I want to know more about him

"I am so happy for you, Aki-chan," she said

"Let's talk more after class. I will wait for you outside your classroom later," she said, and she put my hand on her arm.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

She guided me to the 4th row of the room and left after.

I used Biological Sciences as my course. Because I want to feel it. Everything about life.

Hana always kept her promises to me. I took my time to figure out the classroom setting and went out. She immediately places my hand on her arm.

"I am so excited to see how your story unfolds," she said, and I felt her hand holding me tightly.

"There will be no story unfolding here," I told her and was a bit grumpy.

We went to the cafeteria to eat…

She was behind my back, and after I got my tray of food, a snob man bumped into me without even looking back. He was mad about it because he also received a spill on his clothes.

"Watch it!" he shouted.

"I am sorry about that," I told him and found the spilled bowl.

"Aki-chan," Hana immediately approached me and helped me with the tray.

"I ought to hit you… This is so expensive for you; it is worth a thousand dollars," he said. I didn't even know what he was doing, but Hana was shivering. Which means he must have been really wanting to hit us.

"How dare you raise your hand on a woman!" someone came, and I knew that voice better than anyone else.

"Ren," I murmured

"Now, I am the one who is wrong here?" the man said.

"You are the one wrong here; she already apologized to you." Ren stood his ground and helped me up.

"Are you okay?" He asked

"Yes, thank you," I replied. He gave me his handkerchief, and I started wiping the food off.

"I was supposed not to ruin her first day, but now I am deeply pissed about this encounter. She never received a smack from anyone, yet you, a stranger, are raising his hand on her. How dare you!" He said, and this time, he really was mad.

"Ren, calm down," I told him.

"Never mind it already; I really am at fault here," I told him and held his hand.

"I am sorry," I told him again, pulling both of them away.

-_-_-_-_-

"Bread for today again," I said, and everyone sighed and just laughed it out after.

"You're the one at fault for why we are having bread again, Ren," Hana told him.

"Why are you so hot-headed today? It's just the first day of school, you know ~" I asked him.

"Nothing in common," he responded.

"I think I know," Hana was snickering.
