Chapter thirty two

"I don't believe that crap," Marcus said, flaring up.

"Believe what you want, but it's the truth," Evan said with a smirk.

"What did you think, that she'd be crying over you?" Lizzy said, eyeing him. "Just leave her alone."

"Alina, please talk to me," Marcus said, ignoring Lizzy and Evan. "Please, I need to speak to you."

"I really don't want to talk to you now," Alina said. "Give me some time."

As Alina tried to leave, Marcus tried to stop her. Evan pushed him away, and Marcus got physical and landed a blow on Evan's chin, causing him to go down on the floor.

Alina and Lizzy rushed to Evan to check if he was alright. Evan exaggerated the pain he was feeling and pretended to be very hurt. The two girls helped him up.

Alina got very upset and pushed Marcus. "You're such a jerk," she said angrily, shaking her head disappointedly.

"Alina, come on, he is just pretending. You know I told you he is not a good person," Marcus said.
