Chapter fifty two

Kendra did not come out of the bathroom for almost twenty minutes, where she spent that time crying her eyes out. When she finally emerged, her wounds had healed. She wiped the blood off her face, composed herself, and headed out with a forced smile.

Determined not to let anyone know what Sasha had done to her, protecting her pride was more important than anything else.

"Hmm," Lizzy chuckled. "I see you're in the mood for trouble, but I don't have time for this." Lizzy started to walk past Kendra but then stopped, noticing something. "Is that blood on your collar?"

"What blood? It's a red ink stain, and please mind your own business," Kendra barked.

"You've gone mad, I guess," Lizzy said with a smirk. "It can happen since Marcus and Alina are friends again."
