Evan walked to where Marcus was standing, his eyes burning with a mix of anger and desperation. Marcus leaned casually against the wall, looking utterly unconcerned.

"Where is she?" Evan demanded, "I saw her here with you."

Marcus rolled his eyes, pushing himself off the wall with a sigh. "What are you talking about?" he said dismissively. "I don't have time for your bullshit." He turned to walk away, but Evan moved swiftly, blocking his path.

"You're not going anywhere," Evan growled, his eyes locked onto Marcus's. "Not until you tell me who that girl was."

Marcus raised an eyebrow, his irritation evident. "Which girl are you even talking about?"

"The one I was calling out to," Evan snapped, his patience wearing thin.

"And how is the person I'm talking to your business? She had nothing to do with you," Marcus retorted, crossing his arms.

Evan's jaw tightened. "That was Alina, right?"
