Chapter sixty

Alina paced back and forth, her heart pounding with worry. "What do you mean she's not alright? Is she in trouble? How do we help her?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"It's going to take a lot, but don't worry. I will not give up until I help her," Mandy assured Alina.

"But where is she? Why haven't we heard from her in years? I don't get it," Alina exclaimed, frustrated.

"I don't think she's able to send anyone a message from where she is," Mandy replied, her voice heavy with sorrow.

Dana, standing nearby, leaned in closer. "What does that mean?" she asked, her eyes wide with concern.

Mandy took a deep breath. "Well, I can't be too sure, but it seems like she was in a cave, lying on a table unconscious. I think she has been like that for years," she explained.

"What? Who kept her there?" Dana interjected, her voice rising in shock.

"I don't know," Mandy said, shaking her head. "But a very powerful dark magic is at work there."
