Graduation Day Turns Dark
The school grounds buzzed with excitement, laughter, and endless camera flashes. Families and friends gathered, embracing their graduates, capturing every moment. The air was thick with joy, accomplishment, and celebration.
Alina had already taken a gazillion pictures with Lizzy—her best friend was obsessed with making sure they had every possible angle, pose, and backdrop covered.
"Just one more! No, three more—wait, the lighting here is perfect!" Lizzy gushed, dragging Alina into yet another shot.
"Lizzy, we've taken enough to make an entire photo album!" Alina groaned, but she couldn't help laughing as Lizzy clung to her.
Lizzy also insisted on pictures with her mom and Joe, making sure Alina was in all of them. It took Marcus stepping in—wrapping a protective arm around Alina's waist—to finally free her.
