Bed Expert

AHHHHH! Xie Mingze tried his hardest to act cool, but the truth was he was surprised that Fen Yichen had that physic. He looked at his thin arms resembling a stick and then at his flat abdomen that can't seem to gain any muscles. 

Its really hard for him to get any muscles. This was his curse, at least he was tall. That was his only redemption. 

"What are you doing over there?"

After taking a shower he went out of the bathroom and saw Fen Yichen on the corner of the room staring outside of the window. 

"I was taking a picture, the sky looks pretty today, especially the moon. That's right, let's take a picture too. I want to post it in my story." 

Mingze didn't think much of it, the view does look good with the city lights and all. 

He just didn't expect that taking this picture would be a big deal for the business department. 

Once again Yichen updated his story and the people in his department all commented congratulations. 

They all thought he is hard launching his boyfriend on social media, other girls finally understand why he wasn't paying attention to them while the boys who admire him just send a bunch of congratulations. 

Society has evolved for sexual orientation to not be a big deal. Fen Yichen is completely unaware that this has become his coming out post. While the other people who thought they were buddies were asking why they were together on a trip. 

Hanya sends a message to Mingze asking what they are up to. Since Hanya is not taking the course with the same professor he had to explain the series of events.

Hanya: oh wow good luck, that's Mu Bai. 

Mingze: I won't let him mooch off our efforts.

Hanya: Just take care of yourself. If I knew Yichen would be there I would sign up with that professor. 

Mingze: well you would be suffering with me (⁠ ⁠;⁠∀⁠;⁠)

Hanya: oh yeah that's right, nevermind then I was lucky.

The rest of the evening was uneventful, they rested early if midnight could be still called early. 

Xie Mingze hopped into bed, closed his eyes and eventually fell asleep. Fen Yichen did the same after seeing Mingze's actions. 

The check out time was supposed to be 10am, but Mingze woke up at 11am. His whole body was leaning against a lean chest and he was hugging the other person like an octopus. 

He was just used to doing it with his bolster pillow at home; he unconsciously treated Yichen as his huggy pillow. 

His plan was to move away without waking the other person up, but as soon as he moved Fen Yichen opened his eyes. 

"Good morning Mingze." 

It was a bit awkward to greet him in their current tangled posture so he tried to untangle himself first and then sat on the bed.

"Morning to you too, Yichen. Did you sleep well?" 

Xie Mingze wanted to hit his head on the wall. It just felt awkward that the words spilled out of his mouth. How could someone who got hugged like that have a goodnight sleep? 

He must be a joke. "It's fine I slept well despite a cat clinging to me." Fen Yichen didn't specifically mention anything about him, but his face still flushed knowing the cat meant him. He wished the ground could just eat him up. 

While he was busy drowning his embarrassment, Yichen already grabbed the phone to call the customer service to order breakfast.

"We would be having our breakfast here. Yes, two orange juice."

"Do they even still have breakfast? It's 11am. I can't believe I overslept just because the bed was so soft."

Xie Mingze, who would have always overslept if no one woke him up, started to ponder how amazing the bed was. 

"My bedroom has this same bed, do you want to sleep over? You can always sleep there."

"I didn't even notice. Is it really the same?"

Pretending to be a bed expert, he tried to press it down with his hand trying to remember how the bed at Yichen's house feels like. 

"Oh it's really the same I think."

"I'm lying it's not the same, my bed is a bit firmer."

They both said at the same time, Mingze's face morphed with a wtf face. He just turned his back on Yichen no longer wanting to talk to him anymore, freaking hell he felt embarrassed.

"I'm sorry, but you could always sleep in my room. I'll keep the bed warm for you"

That sounded weird, but okay. The bed warmer Fen Yichen smiled while the unsuspecting Mingze just perfunctorily nodded his head.

"I can't believe you went to City B without the poor old me? How could you do this to me? Am I really your friend?" Upon arriving at the campus, an alien octopus started clinging to Xie Mingze's arms.

He tried his hardest to shake him off, but it was no use. Hai Zheyan decided to be Mingze's accessory for the day.

"We go there for a group project only to be ditched by Senior Mu."

"Damn that's right, you're group mates with both Mu Bai and Fen Yichen. You got heaven and hell on your side to keep things balanced. I don't know if I should feel sorry for you or say you deserve it. "

A lot of people do want to group with Yichen, once group with him it's an easy A+. Though he rarely attended the groupworks for the music department, those were the rumours in the business department. It was to the point that every examination week a lot of people wanted to talk or offer gifts to him for good luck.

He was more like the study god of the business dept. Not just people looking to date him were looking for him, even people who wanted to pass their tests. 

"I got flashbacks from our first year, we were forced to stand in the heat just because we greeted that bastard and he was not satisfied." Zheyan grumbled 

"What are you guys talking about?"
