One Room

By the time they finished talking it was already past 8pm. Even the cafe was about to close. A waiter approached them with a business like smile.

"Erm sir, just to remind you we would be closing the shop at 9pm."

Xie Mingze reflexively looked at his wrist watch, he did not notice how the time passed. Additionally they are in City B. It would take hours to go back to City A.

"I'm sorry, we would leave soon."

The waiter gave them a smile, but deep inside Mingze knew he might be cursing at them. He can't blame him though if it was really true, they had overstayed.

"Yichen why didn't you remind me?"

"I haven't been looking at my watch. I'm having a great time I didn't notice. Let's just leave a tip as compensation." 

Yichen opened his wallet casually leaving a hundred dollar bill under the glass as tip. Xie Mingze didn't notice as he was busy trying to pack his things. 

"Let's hurry, I need to go home I don't have house keys."

Just his luck, he forgot his house keys. He took another bag and left the keys in his to go bag, talking into consideration the time, by the time they arrived at the Xie house it would be 1 or 2 am. Mama Xie would be sleeping by that time.

Feeling guilty Xie Mingze didn't want to wake her up just because he left his key.

"Let me crash at your place."

"Let's just book a hotel around the area. I don't think I could drive so long. I might get sleepy." 

Hmmm Fen Yichen did have a point. The two of them are already exhausted, just because of Mu Bai who suggested to watch a movie in City B. Acting like there is no cinema in CIty A and then proceeding to ditch them. Just remembering it made Xie Mingze gnash his teeth in anger.

"Let me check what is still open around the area."

Fen Yichen hid the small smile appearing on his face, it appeared for a quick while before disappearing back to his usual stoic expression. 

"Yichen don't pick something so expensive, I can only afford a bit." 

Calculating all the expenses inside his head Xie Mingze thought that maybe he could stay at an internet cafe overnight and then just meet up with Fen Yichen in the morning to go back home.

"Oh on second thought we could just meet up back here and you can stay in the hotel."

The hand looking for their accomodation for the night stopped typing. He looked at the other man opposite to him and raised his eyebrow.

"I promised auntie to take care of you, if you plan to sleep somewhere we should go together. Mingze where do you plan to sleep?"

Go together? Can Fen Yichen even bear to stay in the internet cafe? Let alone sleep there for a night? There's even a smoky smell there 24/7. 

"The internet cafe, or I could just stay at a convinient store. It's not a big deal, I could pass time by scrolling through my feed."

His plans sounds ridiculous to Yichen, he knew Mingze was short on money but not to the point of staying in a convinient store just to pass time. He silently pulled him along the car, the guy didn't even thought of just staying in the car for the night. 

"Let's go, we are staying together in one room so you won't pay."

The room they managed to book was a bit small, there was a single bed. Since both of them didn't expect that they would be staying here, they didn't have any change of clothings. So before checking in they bought some disposable underwear in the convinient store. 

The cashier gave them a side eye look before endorsing a box of condoms. Mingze nearly had a heart attack before clarifying that they are not a couple.

How could anyone think he is in a relationship with Yichen? 

So the plan was to talk a shower and then wear the underwear underneath the bathrobe the hotel room offered. They would be clean and could take a shower while still remaining decent in front of each other.

Well that was the plan, except Fen Yichen decided to just leave the bathroom with his boxers and the towel draped over his shoulder Is his build great? Yes, he got this wide shoulders that makes anyone want to say choke me daddy. He got a toned abdominal muscles and… Mingze shook his head.

"Can't you atlleast wear your bathrobe properly?"

"I'm a bit hot."

He complained and because of his complaint Mingze decided to grab the airconditioner's remote and change the temperature to be colder.

"It's going to be cold soon, hurry up and wear your robe."

After saying his piece, Mingze left to shower leaving Fen Yichen alone. The girls said honey trap should be used, he looked at his six packs and began to wonder if he was slacking off on his practice. He thought this build was enough to impress Mingze, he saw the magazines on his room and most of them have similar body built with him. 

He searched through the internet about what to do, but all of the results are not anything noteworry. It all says it must be his fault or his body might not be the other person's type. Fen Yichen vowed to take exercising more seriously, he might have eaten a lot of sweets recently.

Still he was satisfied, he looked at the single bed on the room and the amazing view from outside. He took a picture of the night sky from the window before posting on his story. His account rarely have any updates so his friends checked on what he posted. 

One by one they started to send messages asking where he was or who he was with. It was not set to friends only so even the people following him kept sending him a lot of likes.
