Trinity went to open the door and faced her crush, instantly becoming extremely shy and awkwardly welcoming him in, "You're finally here."
"Sorry, I'm ten minutes late." Her crush performed a magic trick with a bouquet of flowers he had behind his back and presented them to her, "Do you like them?"
Holding the roses joyfully, Trinity exclaimed, "I love them."
After welcoming her crush into the house, he noticed Lambert and couldn't help asking, "Is this your brother?"
"Uh... yes," Trinity noticed Lambert hesitating to shake hands with her crush, causing his outstretched hand to hang awkwardly in the air. She subtly gestured to Lambert with her eyes.
Ignoring the gesture, Lambert pretended not to notice and quietly opened a bottle of red wine, pouring it into a goblet and taking a sip.
Feeling awkward, her crush first helped Trinity blow out the candles and make a wish, then poured her a glass of wine.
"No drinking alcohol," Lambert snatched the goblet from Trinity's hand, "It's not good for the baby."
Baby?
Trinity felt like the ground was opening up beneath her.
Apologetically, Lambert turned to her crush, "Sorry, I didn't know about this. If not for finding this in the bathroom just now..."
He produced a small piece of paper.
Trinity took a closer look—it was a pregnancy test.
What?
Where did this come from?
"I told you to use condoms last time, but you refused," Lambert added fuel to the fire, "Now look at this..."
This revelation almost made Trinity collapse in shock.
Condoms?
Damn it, you know too damn much.
The crush couldn't sit still, pretended to check his phone, claimed there was an emergency at home, and hastily made his escape.
Meanwhile, Trinity sat at the table, deeply wounded by this farce.
"Happy birthday!" Lambert leaned in, immensely pleased, showing off to Trinity, "Surprised? Unexpected?"
"Surprised in the worst possible way!" Trinity practically spat out these words through clenched teeth.
This wasn't a happy birthday at all; it was clearly April Fools' Day in disguise.
"Where did this come from?" Trinity held up the pregnancy test, trying to stay calm, but finding it nearly impossible not to explode.
"Bought it at the pharmacy."
Trinity pressed further, "Why are there two lines?"
"Ovulation test. Two lines means positive."
"In other words..." Trinity realized something.
"I was curious about its accuracy, so I tested it myself. The results were surprising, so I thought it would be interesting to use it to test that guy's feelings for you." Lambert gripped Trinity's chin, his narrow eyes staring at her, "So you should thank me."
"Thanks a lot." Trinity countered defiantly, "I'm telling you, this isn't over."
"How isn't it over?" Someone showed no fear.
Trinity patted her flat stomach, "Alcohol isn't good for a fetus? I don't even have a man, so where's the child supposed to come from? Tell me, where's this child supposed to come from? Did you give it to me?"
The big bad wolf extended his claws, pushing her down onto the sofa and pinning her there. "Having a child isn't that easy, huh?"
"What... what are you doing?" Trinity was startled by his actions, struggling desperately. When she saw it was futile, she nearly cried out, "Damn it, let me go!"
"You... you asked me where the child came from, right? I'll give you one right now."
"I don't want it." Trinity gritted her teeth.
Lambert's eyes darkened. "Whether you want it or not isn't up to you."
"You..." Lambert silenced her with a deep kiss, leaving Trinity bewildered.
His kissing skills were impressive, his tongue agile, his attack fierce. Soon, Trinity, inexperienced as she was, went from resistance to being swept away in the dance.
"You heartless jerk." Once free, Trinity chastised him breathlessly.
"I never had a heart."
"Not even human."
"I'm not human to begin with."
"You..." Well, she had nothing to say.
"I'm a robot, remember?" Lambert's words sparked a glimmer of hope in Trinity's despairing eyes.
Yes, he was a robot. He couldn't have really done anything to her.
But Trinity rejoiced too soon.
"Besides, I didn't do anything excessive. You promised to help me recharge."
"But you messed up my plans."
The big bad wolf insisted he was in the right. "Who knew your crush would be so weak?"
"Twisting words."
"Now, fulfill your promise." The big bad wolf was getting impatient.
The little white rabbit blinked its watery eyes innocently. "Then let me go, and by the way, you don't even have a charging cable at home..."
"You don't need a charging cable. You just need to maintain a few good positions," Lambert implied.
Trinity suddenly realized the implications.
"You said it yourself, not just on the bed, but also on the sofa, in the bathroom, kitchen, even outdoors," Lambert's dark pupils flashed with a glint as he smiled lightly. "So, let's try each one today!"
Lambert was quick to trap her tightly.
Trinity wasn't one to obey easily and began to struggle desperately. When her attempts to break free failed, she raised her leg and aimed for his weakest spot.
At first, it had little effect, but gradually Lambert showed a weakness. Seizing the opportunity, Trinity pushed him away all of a sudden and kicked him flying.
As Trinity turned over, she saw Lambert trying to stand up from the fall. She hurriedly pounced on him, pushing him down and pinning him at the waist.
Oddly, he didn't struggle.
Lambert's eyes showed a hint of warmth as he looked at Trinity's face, teasingly saying, "You sure know how to play. I like this position."
Trinity knew his thoughts had gone astray but didn't bother to explain, only chuckling mischievously. "Fun? Then let's play slowly..."
With that said, she recalled the jump rope she usually kept under the coffee table, swiftly pulling it out and securely tying Lambert up in three quick moves.
"Tied up?"
"What are you thinking?" Trinity was quite annoyed.
Although sometimes slow to react and often teased by Lambert into a spin, it didn't mean she hadn't seen some action movies.
Surprisingly, the way he was tied up really resembled certain scenes from those films.
Due to their recent wrestling match, his shirt buttons had been torn open, revealing perfect collarbones and strong chest muscles, coupled with that criminally enticing face, which was incredibly seductive.
If Lambert weren't so annoying, Trinity thought he could easily outshine her crush by a mile.
Even so, he was still the one she had spent all her money to buy.
