164. Sora vs Tsunade

"Oh..." Sora paused for a bit "Yeah, that's so frequent of you to give me missions, are they no capable ninjas anymore in the village apart from me?" Sora said with a grin.

Anbus hidden in the ceiling twitched their eyes behind their mask. 

"Yup, Now take this mission" Tsunade grinned and handed him the scroll. 

"What a slave driver you are baa-chan" Sora said while opening the scroll and speed-reading it. 

The existence of chakra naturally sped things up and the fact that he had been reading a lot of medical texts had made him practice this skill, making it a solid skill by now with a considerable reading speed. 

"Hmm, this is interesting now", Sora said while furrowing his brows. 

"Don't worry about going into an S-rank, you will be taking the help of Guy in this mission and will be meeting with them in Land of Bears"

"Hmm, that really sounds like a place that I would like" Sora was already excited to go to the mission. 

He could mentally imagine a bear waving his paw at him. 

"Yup, it's a secluded area compared to other lands and a perfect place to train as it's near Land of Mountains, you have to meet up with Team Guy near the border of Land of Mountains and Bears, I think you could track them" 

"yeah, don't worry about that, I will take care of it, Hmm, so the team guy should be training till now, won't they? I wonder how strong they have become" Sora said while reminiscing about Chunin exams which have been more than 1.5 years since then. 

He could already see them at the high spectrum of the Chunin level and maybe even Neji and Lee at be Jounin level. 

He then mentally shook himself 'Nah, reaching Jounin level is not that easy, even if they have the firepower, it would be very hard to round up all the stats, they would be hanging on for Special Jounin for a long time' 

"Good, off you go brat, don't risk your life or the other's if things go south," Tsunade said to him as a kind of formality to remind me, it's kind of given that Sora will do exactly that, even if the Mission's failure would lead to war. 

"I would granny, you would get wrinkles at this rate if we go by the seeing the number of times you repeat the same thing" Sora quickly flickered out of the spot where he was sitting on the window. 

A chakra-infused flying punch passed through that area, violently pushing the air away such that the wind's sound could be heard tens of metres apart. 

The hidden anbus gulped as they witnessed this, luckily they were not on the receiving side of this, despite knowing that all of them could dodge this. 

Most of the Jounins wouldn't be able to dodge this attack at this range and they would definitely die on the spot, until and unless they have a iryon-nin.

Tsunade tightened her fist. 

She really was angry, age has always been a factor she doesn't like when she or people mention it.

Sora stopped only after knowing that he was a few kilometres away from the Hokage tower. 

He just In case had both hands together in case he had to weave hand seals to run. 

He was confident in being able to outrun her if Tsunade decided to chase him. 

'Then again, that's not taking into fact that she could attack me while chasing me, she would be able to not let the distance between us increase or sooner or later catch up to me' Sora started entertaining the idea of Tsunade actually decided to chase him. 

'I could try to use long-range jutsus, but most of them would be taken care by the flick of her hands, the ones which could actually make some impact are flying Rasengan, but she could either face it head on, just deflect it with one of her chakra enhanced punch, or she could always dodge it if the distance is not that big, this would help me create distance between us, but it wouldn't be sustainable in the long run as I would run out of chakra very quickly' 

A villager greeted Sora, the latter turned to a cheery smile and greeted back. 

'Obviously, this is all if we are in a forest or in a plain area if She is chasing me in the village, She would have to deal with all my jutsu head-on, as a stray one could lead to how many casualties... I could create shadow clones and let them create havoc while they would buy me time to escape Sora's thoughts took a dark turn. 

'Okay, let's not involve the poor defenceless villagers, let's see, even if I create shadow clones, Tsunade-baa-chan could use the same tactic, and her chakra reserves and chakra control are vastly superior to mine, heck, If she actually starts using just elemental clones, then I would be doomed' Sora gulped while having that thought. 

He entered a forest area, the hustle and bustle of the city-like area now quiet. 

'Let's assume that we are not gonna use clones, then what could I do to escape her... I could use my shape-shifting jutsu to lighten myself and fly on the shuriken... the only problem would be the sending compressed air strikes at me, well, I could dodge those on my shuriken while in the air, like I did with the battle against Fourth Kazekage' 

Sora stepped on the branch, 'Then again, she could jump from the ground and try to reach close to me... I could use clones... but if she uses clones... damn, multiple baa-chans jumping from the ground and reaching the air' Sora shivered. 

'Then again, no point thinking about it, Baa-chan is a kage, and very powerful among S-rank' Sora stopped the musings of his "what ifs" and imaginary battle- no Escape against Tsuande-baa-chan. 

'Maybe, I should not anger her too much' Sora made a mental note to himself. 

Well, he couldn't be blamed, even among Kages, Tsunade was very powerful, heck, If not for Jiraiya's sage mode, he wouldn't have been able to defeat Tsunade in a straight battle, even after using sage mode, the chances of his winning are not guarantee.

In the battle with pain, Tsunade had to use her chakra reserves to not let others die, heck if she had faced Pain alone, with her full chakra, then results would have perhaps been different. 

After all, she was the woman who could break a freaking Susanoo in a few hits. Her only downside is her reaction speed or normal speed, but that is taken care of by her broken healing prowess. 

Sora came back to the real world as he sidestepped a vacuum shell of air, only in the next instant a palm thrusting at him. 

He had already his hands near each other, so he immediately moulded chakra for Body flicker with one hand seal and flickered backwards while using Shape-shifting jutsu when he did that. 

'I really need to find a way to deal with sneak attacks, I either have to master seal-less jutsus on my current level or always keep my both hands close' Sora thought while side-stepping a few more vacuum palms while flickering backwards with more speed. 

He could do multiple seal-less jutsu, but the time taken for them is more than sealed ones and his jutsu are improving with his increase in chakra control and chakra, so even if he could do seal-less body flickers before in battle, it had now become very difficult to replicate that for a body flicker at Elite Jounin level or levels beyond that. 

He could still do seal-less body flicker for Jounin-level speed. 

"What's up," Hanabi said while being hot on his tail. 

"Why do you always greet me while attacking me?" Sora looked at the violent girl who was sending a few air shells of compressed air at him while chasing him. 

"Just cause, why are you running?, come closer now" She smirked. 

"I am good," Sora said while increasing the distance between them. 

Even since Hanabi started working actively on her chakra control and chakra enhancement with her broken eyes, he couldn't battle her at close range anymore. 

She had become deadly there. 

"Jeez, what a wimp" Hanabi shook her head and landed on the branch, prompting Sora to stop on a tree branch too. 

"We could have a proper spar if you want one" Sora's eyebrows twitched. 

He still could easily defeat Hanabi with his long-range jutsus. 

Also, in battle till now, He hadn't really used Rasengan or Odama Rasengan, nor his clones. 

"Maybe we could have one later, why did you come?" Hanabi elegantly changed the topic. 

"I am going on a mission, came to tell you" 

"I see"

"Yeah, I know that you could see a lot with your eyes anyway, I am gonna meet your cousin during the mission" Sora joked. 

"Hehe, Yup, I could SEE you, anyway, beat my cousin for me, okay?" 

"Oka-, Wait, what?, Why?" Sora asked. 

"I always wanted to beat him in a battle, it's a shame that he is away on a training arc, so do that for me, okay?" Hanabi smiled. 

"Uhh, okay?" Sora said while feeling awkward.

A/n- Fuck, I just realized that Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru are characters from a story called "The Heroic Tales of Jiraiya" or "Tale of the Gallant Jiraiya" from the Edo period.

Here's a small summary of what I found out, feel free to skip it, lol: 

Okay, so this was first published in 1839 and for the next 29 years, i.e. till 1868(one year away from 69 lol), it was completed by 43 illustrated novels and 4 different authors.

Lol, It seems One Piece has a competitor... well, OP would soon surpass this "record".

Okay, so in this story, there's a giant snake spirit, which is the cause of misery for three clans - Tsukikage, Ogata and Matsuura clans, to which Orochimaru, Jiraiya and Tsunade belong to. 

Soon, this giant snake spirit attacked the leader of the Tsukikage clan, however, Orochimaru came and somehow prevented the guy's death, leading to him adopting Orochimaru.

HOWEVER, Orochimaru actually was possessed by the giant evil snake spirit and was now only a puppet. 

Snake Spirit wanted to remove the other two clans and took the seal that shogun had given them(it was his purpose), before obliterating those clans. 

Jiraiya and Tsuande being the heirs of these clans were thrown off cliff but were later saved by Senso Dojin who raised both of them. 

Now, comes the interesting part, The training of both these kids involved, for Tsunade, training her in Slug Magic and wait for wait for it... 

Training Jiraiya in SHAPE-SHIFTING magic of toads. 

Fuck... idk what to say about this coincidence as I came to know about this story just today, i.e., at the time of the release of this chapter. 

Okay, now there's an interesting thing about Three-Way Deadlock, it's basically that snake magic overpowers Toad magic, toad overpowers slug and slug overpowers snake... I didn't know about this lol. 

Now, in the first battle against Orochimaru, Jiraiya was severely wounded and Tsunade's timely arrival saved him. However, this encounter made him crippled and he needed an antidote, which was the blood of a maiden born in a year, day and hour of the snake, whatever that means. 

Soon, somehow, the sacrifice was Jiraiya's sister who was shocked to know that he had a sister and was not killed in the massacre of the clans. 

Soon, Jiraiya was able to defeat the evil spirit and Orochimaru wasn't possessed any more.

Jiraiya asked the shogun to be pardoned for his crimes as he was not the true perpetrator. 

HMMMMMMMMMMMM, okay, there's another version in which Orochimaru was the disciple of Jiraiya...

Ig Maybe,the original plot of Naruto might be making Orochimaru turn good, in a similar way to this, but it soon was dropped or changed... What do you think?
