169. Versus Team Guy
He felt it that it was an S-rank beast and had run away without hesitation.
He decided to ditch the Land of Mountains completely and enter the Land of Forest.
'No wonder Iwa or Suna didn't try to make this their territory, it's not worth the effort, I have also heard that tribes living here are summoners of bears' Sora internally thought while locating his parrot.
"Polly found their location, Now praise me" the Bird preened his feathers while his head was being lifted up in the air.
"Good job, can you tell me the location, please?" 'Where the hell did he learn to ask for praise like that, and what's with the subtle haughty attitude, who ruined my cute parrot?' Sora internally cursed the "bad habits" picked by his precocious summonsman and informant.
"If I did a good job, then gimme something as my reward first" Sora blankly looked at the parrot.
"What do you want?" He asked, curious what the parrot would ask.
"Um, I don't know?" Polly was now also confused about what to get.
"Then why did you even ask for a reward in the first place?" Sora had an expression that read 'bruh', but Polly not being in the same species as Sora wasn't able to understand it.
"Well, aren't gifts supposed to be mysterious sometimes, I want that kind of reward"
"Oh... Is that so?" Sora racked his brain to think of giving a reward for his trusty parrot.
"How about I enhance your scope with my Fuinjutsu so that you could do reconnaissance missions in a better fashion" Sora thought while looking at the scope attached to the parrot.
"Oh, I would love that" He eagerly gave the scope to Sora.
"Let's see, I would add a Heat detection feature, Chakra detection feature, Increasing its magnifying ability by 100 times and even add a projection feature, such that you could show your findings to others, how does that sound?" Sora thought while looking at the scope.
"Woah, Awesome, I would love it" Polly was very happy with the recommendations.
Sora grinned and summoned some earth clones which along with him in tandem started working on the seals.
In around half an hour, they were done and gave the parrot, the upgraded scope.
"How is it? Try it out" He dispelled his clones which turned into dirt and anticipated similar to how a blacksmith would give their customer one of their finest swords.
"It's amazing, I could do so much stuff with this, Polly is very happy with this gift" The bird squeaked in delight.
"Cool, so where's the targets I asked you to find?"
"Oh, they are in that direction, you should be able to find them if you move for an hour at my average speed, here I will show you with my upgraded scope" With that Polly used his scope to detect them and used the projection stuff to see Guy's Team.
Both Polly and Sora were stunned as they saw two men hugging and a sunset behind them.
"W-what? i s happening?" He wondered if they were in some form of genjutsu or if was it some form of clone jutsu application on the surrounding.
"Polly is shocked" Polly was stunned seeing this sight.
"Sora is also shocked" Sora mimicked him sub-consciously.
"Are all humans like this?" Polly asked hesitantly and suspiciously looked at Sora.
"I don't know, I am young after all, inexperienced to the absurdity of the world" Sora replied with the most serious face he could muster.
"I see" The parrot mimicked his serious face and both the hooman and parrot looked at the hologram showing the sunset with the most serious expression.
"Anyway, thanks for your help, I think I know where to go now"
"Thanks for my scope improvement, feel free to call me to give rewards like this" that parrot dispelled itself.
'What a shameless guy' Sora shook his head activated his shape-shifting jutsu and blitzed towards the direction where Guy's current team was training and at the location where he saw the hologram from.
'Was that genjutsu inspired by my Sunset Shield Technique, or was my Sunset Shield technique inspired by that sub-consciously?' Sora wondered internally.

Soon, he reached the team guy and everyone was looking at him as He hadn't bothered hiding his chakra, so Neji had seen him coming.
"Sora! Long time no see, you seem youthful as ever" Guy gave him a thumbs with his teeth blinding Sora momentarily.
But Sora immediately grinned "Yo Guy-sensei, long time no see, I could feel your youthfulness from miles away," Sora said truthfully and his words were not really a joke as it was a literal statement.
"You seem to have gotten even more youthful since the last time I saw you"
"What's up, you guys? I could see you improving from the last time I saw you" Sora commented as he could see the obvious change in the physiques of the three which was subtle yet refined to his eyes.
Not only that, he could sense their chakra reserves and the way they utilized their chakra naturally, which gave him some form of idea about their current prowess.
"Well, It seems you have grown stronger too" Neji commented while his byakugan active
"Let's have a spar" Lee immediately said.
"We have been training seriously in the last one and half a year" Tenten smirked.
"Anyway, I am here for a mission" Sora handed the scroll to Guy who read it and his expression got serious while Sora chatted with Team Guy.
"Did you know that a S-rank Bear is there in Land of Bears?" Sora said while making some hand gestures.
"Yeah, Guy sensei even fought it" Neji's statement made Sora immediately freeze.
"Woah, tell me the details, who won?"
"It was a draw," Tenten said with a shrug.
"As expected from the green beast of Konoha" Sora commented.
"I am called Blue Beast, but thank you for the appreciation, we will leave for this mission tomorrow as it's already afternoon" Guy said while giving the scroll back to Sora.
"No problems" Sora agreed with his decision as he didn't want to do the mission at night.
"How about you spar with my team, they should get some experience fighting an Elite Jounin" Guy suggested.
"Sure, why not, I am curious about how far they have come too" 'Hanabi did tell to beat Neji, so I would technically hit two stones with one bird'
"You guys no holding back in this fight give it your all" Guy said to all three and specifically to Lee, who nodded and removed his weights.
'Woah, those are multiple times heavier than the last time I saw those'
Sora stood on the other side of the clearing.
He had not deactivated his shape-shifting jutsu, so he was in an optimal state.
"Begin" Guy shouted and Sora saw Lee moving.
'Jounin level speed and without even gates, now this is going to be an interesting battle' Sora decided to entertain close combat with Lee and met his blows with his chakra-enhanced ones.
Bam Bam Bam
Loud sounds could be heard throughout the clearing.
Sora's eyes widened as a few vacuum palms were launched at him with precise timing.
'What great teamwork' He thought while flickering backwards and dodging those.
Rock Lee chased after him while the hyuga provided long-range support while closing the distance between them.
Sora summoned two kunais and deflected fast shurikens and kunais coming at him.
'Woah, these all attacks are coordinated or more like Tenten is coordinating with the other two' Sora noticed that Neji was only focusing on Lee every few moments making him deduce that Tenten was doing whatever she was doing on her own.
'Plus, these are all chakra enhanced, making them sharper, and interesting' Neji finally closed the distance between them directly and started with 32 palms just as Lee was not that active.
Sora's kunai clashed with all those strikes, neutralizing them even before they landed on his body.
He wasn't able to see it, it was purely instinctual response.
He did that while dodging projectiles from Tenten and wild kicks from Lee.
Sora's eyes widened as he felt the increased intensity of palm strikes. '64 palms?'
Sora realized that his instincts wouldn't be able to carry him, so he instantly flickered backwards, at least trying to.
His eyes widened as Lee chose the exact time to open his gates.
