He has to be here to be safe

"Theirs a limit to my patience Zetian" Sial spoke up immediately after the girls left, his deep blue eyes stared coldly

Zetian remained unmoving, he had an aloof and expressionless face different from the one he displayed earlier

He sat gracefully, his lean frame seeming out of place in the soft furnishing.

Zetian leaned back slightly, his head tilted to one side as he met Sial's cold gaze, "What limits are you speaking of… Sial?" He asked softly, almost in a mocking tone.

"As a matter of fact, I have a temper issue," Zetian added. "So why don't we fight it out" Zetian's lips curled into a thin smile, his eyes taking on a dangerous gleam.

Sial chuckled, "You? Fight me? I quite admire your confidence. But I don't have an attitude of bullying the weak"

Zetian was a businessman, though businessmen men now have the tendency to protect themself. But he was given strict training since as a child.

Zetian Seemed to be in deep thought before he finally spoke up, "Very well then" Another day.

He rose from the couch,

"I have something to take care of," He glanced upstairs "She's staying here"

Sial's eyes had a flicker of annoyance crossing his face.

"What do you mean she's staying here?" he asked, his tone sharp. "Crap, You brought her here without asking!"

Zetian shrugged, his demeanour unperturbed by Sial's reaction. "I didn't think I needed your permission," he replied, his tone calm and matter-of-fact. "After all, this is not your home." Zetian chuckled, "You have no relation, you could not tell your feelings"

Sial's gaze darkened, he clenched his fist, he had the urge to punch this bastard

"Shut up! "

Zetian tilted his head slightly, his expression unchanged, "Resorting to violence is not

Always the choice"

With that, Zetian strode out of the house.

Fury was evident on Sial's face as Zetian left the house, he kicked the table and the vase came trembling down and fell with a loud noise

Why does this bastard always manage to anger him!?

Amelia and Evelyn were sitting in a room, chatting quietly when they heard loud noises come from downstairs. Both women exchanged a look before getting up and heading downstairs.

When they reached the living room, they saw Sial standing, a murderous look on his face, he was surrounded by broken pieces of a large vase that had been smashed against the wall.

"Who's making a racket down here?" Amelia asked, her voice laced with irritation.

Sial's gaze flicked towards the women as they entered the room, his gaze focused on Amelia. His expression darkened,

Amelia's heart skipped a beat,

Why does that gaze seems familiar, overall she found him familiar the minute she came in.

Moments later, Recognition filled her eyes as she clearly saw him.

Was he not the dangerous man from their past confrontation?

He was the same man they encountered during their confrontation with Maxwell

She remembered him! especially from the scar that ran diagonally across his face and that cold look

Amelia instinctively took a step back, her eyes wide with fear.

Evelyn glanced at the towering figure in the living room, "Sial," she said, "What happened? Where's Zetian?"

Sial's gaze fixed on the two ladies, his gaze cold Amelia felt uneasy at his gaze

"Gone" he replied curtly

Amelia fidgeted nervously, she gazed around looking everywhere but his side. her heart rate increasing with each passing second. She felt trapped under his unwavering stare.

Evelyn noticed Amelia's discomfort, she helplessly smoothened the space between her brows. She had nearly forgotten their past shenanigans.

"You're frightening her," Evelyn stated, staring at Sial.

Sial's gaze flickered to Evelyn, he picked up his coat, "I'm going out" he said softly with a stoic expression.

As Sial walked out, leaving the room, Amelia turned to Evelyn with a barrage of questions.

"You know him?" she asked, her voice filled with a mix of fear and confusion. "Why was he looking at me like that?"

Evelyn sighed softly, running a hand through her hair. "That's Sial," she replied, her expression troubled. "He's... complicated"

Amelia looked at Evelyn confused "Complicated how?" she said, "He.. is Dangerous"

Evelyn pursed her lips, her eyes darting towards the door through which Sial had exited. "Sial's situation is... not easy to explain. But he has to be here to be safe" she explained.

Amelia shivered, the description added to her unease. "So, he's dangerous?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly.

Evelyn felt helpless, "Yes, he can be, But he has his reasons for being the way he is."

Amelia swallowed hard, taking in Evelyn's words. She couldn't shake the feeling of dread that had settled in her stomach.

She felt uneasy and somehow…scared

A feeling she never felt with anyone

"Why is he even here?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Evelyn sighed again, her eyes drifting to the broken pieces of the vase scattered across the floor. "It's a long story," she said. "Let's just say he's the only one that knows Ethan"

Amelia wanted to ask more questions, her curiosity piqued.

However, the look in Evelyn's eyes told her that this wasn't the time for further inquiry.

Instead, she took a deep breath, forcing herself to calm down. "Okay,"

Evelyn patted her arms, "Come on let go pack the dresses, it seems Zetians not coming back either"

"Let's go"
