Chapter-21

The silence was stifling. Hyacinth had her back to the prince as she remained at the edge of the pond. Faust watched the two curiously especially the prince who seemed unbothered. Cassien had his eyes closed.

Hyacinth felt movement in the water, so she turned to face the prince. "I thought you weren't going to turn around." Cassien said staring at her heated cheeks. "What gave it away?" She asked finally staring at him. She was sure her cheeks were as red as a tomato, but she could care less.

The look he gave said otherwise. "You know the answer very well Hyacinth." He said titling his head to the side. She had to hold her breath when her name rolled off his lips. His golden orbs glinted at her perhaps in amusement, she couldn't tell.
