The one bandit that escape

The chapter as the yellow sound wave hit Subaru, and the sub leader of the division.

Both of them stop, and look at Futaba.

“Subaru, wasn’t one of the bandits!” Futaba said.

After that Subaru, and the subleader of the Division look at Futaba, and then around them. Both of them see that the bandits are tied up. After that, the subleader of Division look at Subaru, and then he realized what Futaba said—

“Wait, you weren’t one of the bandits?” The subleader of division, asks.

“Yeah, I wasn’t.” Subaru responds.

“Then why didn’t you tell me?” The subleader asks.

“Hmm… That because I want to test my strength, to you, and I was enjoying fighting with you.” Subaru said, while tilting his head.

“Is that so… (He can keep up, with me that way, maybe he was one of Yggdrasil subleader, just like me.) Anyway, I’m Len Zero, I’m one of the subleaders of the Division. You’re strong, you must be one of Yggdrasil Subleader, what’s your name?” Len asked.

“Oh, my name is Subaru. I’m one of the newbies of the Yggdrasil, not a subleader.” Subaru respond with a smile in his face.

“(Huh? He wasn’t one of the subleader of Yggdrasil?! He’s a newbie, and he already this strong? Looks like we have an interesting newbie this year.)” Len said in his mind.

“Sir, we already get the bandits, in the jail, and we count that there’s 30 of them, but 1 escape.” A Young man saluted to Len.

“Okay, that’s good, but did you guys know where the other bandit headed? When it escapes?” Len asks.

“Sadly, no. We don’t know, sir.” The young man responds.

“Is that so, then make sure to report this to leader.” Len said, as he put his sword in his back.

Meanwhile, Zakuya was following the one bandit that were escaping.

“(I need to catch him now. It’s getting dark.)” Zakuya said in his mind.

Zakuya follow the bandit, until in got dark, when it got dark, the bandit lands down.

“(He’s landing now.)” Zakuya said, as he sees the bandit land down beside a hill, and beside the hill a bunch of trees.

“(There’s light source.)” Zakuya said in his mind, as he lands on a tree.

“I’m here, to give a report.” The bandits said.

After that a door, when the door is opening, Zakuya’s phone vibrate. Zakuya panic, but he was able to stop the vibration, luckily the bandits didn’t hear the vibration. Zakuya check his phone, and he sees that Furina message him the food she wants tomorrow. After looking at his phone, Zakuya look at the bandit, who was about to enter the door.

“(Tch, I won’t let him get away.)” Zakuya said in his mind.

After that, Zakuya clench his fist, and then he jumps, and in midair.

“Flame Fist!”

Zakuya target the side of the hill. When his attack hit the side of the hill, the bandit receives a strong shockwave.

“You said you wasn’t being followed!” Voice through speaker.

“Tch.”

Now the door can’t be close now.

“Do you really think, I’ll let you get away, after you attack that town?” Zakuya said, as he slowly walks inside the hill.

“Hey! Get out of there, and help me! This is just simple, guy.” The bandit said.

“Huh? What are you saying?” the voice through the speaker said.

“I don’t feel a mana in this guy, the attack that he release probably drain his mana.” The bandit said.

After that the guy behind the speaker come out, the guy has gray hair, wearing a black t shirt, and black jeans.

“Oh, you’re right. He doesn’t have mana.”

Both of the guy, smirks as they think that Zakuya is an easy opponent.

“Let’s do this.” The bandit said, as a wind come out of his hand.

“Yeah.” The guy with grey hair said, as he gets in his fighting stance, and the pieces of glass come out of his arm.

Zakuya just look at them, with a serious expression, then the bandit attack Zakuya. Zakuya quickly move to the side, as the attack come to him, Zakuya dodge the attack, and then he looked at the two guys, but when Zakuya look at them, he notices that the guy with grey hair, was close to him, and were about to attack him. The guy with grey hair swings his arm that has a piece of broken glass on it. After seeing the guy close to him, Zakuya quickly move to the side, dodging the attack. After dodging the attack, Zakuya use his right knee, and he hit the stomach of the guy with grey hair, who were in the motion of swinging his arm, with his right leg.

“Argh!” The word that come out of the guy with grey hair, after getting hit in the stomach.

“What?” The bandit said.

The guy with grey hair, drop to the ground, with the pain in his stomach, while Zakuya walk towards the bandit.

“Tch, Wind Magic: Wind—”

When the bandit, is about to cast a spell, Zakuya hit him in the stomach with his knee.

The bandit drop to the ground with a pain in the stomach, just like the guy with grey hair. After that, Zakuya takes out a rope, in his inventory, and he tied the hands of the two guys on their back. Then Zakuya pulls out his phone, and he calls Seto.

“Ah… Hello lead.”

“Oh, Zakuya, you need something?” Seto asks, in calm tone.

“Yeah, actually I need someone in the base, to go here in my position or location.” Zakuya responds.

“Why, did something happened?” Seto asks, in calm tone.

“Yeah, I catch the bandit that escape, during attack in cheese town earlier.” Zakuya respond, while looking at the two guys, who were still in pain.

“Ohhh! That’s great, I’ll send someone there, send me your location.” Seto said.

After that Zakuya send his location, and then he hangs up, and get his phone, in his pocket. After putting his phone, in his pocket, Zakuya look at the broken door. When Zakuya look inside, something tells him to go inside. Zakuya try to push the door, but it won’t budge.

“Flame Fist!”

Zakuya punch the door, and it flung out, then Zakuya walks inside. When Zakuya steps inside, he sees a glowing light green walls. Then he sees a sword that were glowing on white color, and it was pierced into a stone.

Meanwhile, the guy with grey hair, was screaming at Zakuya not to enter the place. But Zakuya didn’t listen, and he just entered the place. When Zakuya sees the sword on the stone, something tells him to take the sword. Zakuya approach the sword, while the guy with grey hair screaming.

“STOP!!!”

Zakuya grab the handle, and when Zakuya hold the handle of the sword, with his left hand, the sword releases a much redder flame, than his flames. Then Zakuya pull the sword with his left hand. After pulling the sword, Zakuya feels an immense power flowing in the sword, then the white color of the sword, slowly turn into a bright red.

*POW!*

Suddenly Zakuya was hit by somebody, but Zakuya was managed to block the attack with his right hand, the blow was so powerful that Zakuya was blown outside, with serious expression. Zakuya land on the ground, and then he put the sword in his inventory, and he said— “Vegito.”

Vegito the name of the sword that Zakuya’s master gave him.

After that, a black figure appears, and it looks at Zakuya.

“I never thought, I’ll see you here, but I can’t fight you right now.” The black figure said.

Zakuya look at the black figure with serious expression, and he was getting ready to attack.

“I’m just here to take one of our components.”

After the black figure talk, it suddenly moves towards the two guys in who were tied. The guy with grey hair, couldn’t talk, because he was seeing his teammate, who was about to help them. When Zakuya notice that the black figure moves towards the two guys, and he grab the arm of the bandits, while the black figure only managed to grab the guy with grey hair, and then they disappeared.

“(That black figure, I feel like, I've met him before.)” Zakuya said in his mind, while holding the one bandit.

After that Subaru arrived, carrying a scroll, and he was flying, Subaru land, and he noticed that there’s only one guy there.

“Zakuya, Lead said there are guys here?” Subaru asks.

Zakuya look at Subaru, and then he responds— “There’s someone come, and get the other guy, I’m lucky I was able to pull this guy away from him.”

“Damn, if I was a bit faster, we might be able to get that other two.” Subaru said, while clenching his right hand.

“Anyway, let’s head back to the base now.” Subaru said, as he used the teleport scroll, the teleportation wall of Subaru is red.

After that Zakuya, and Subaru, together with the bandits, they teleport back to the base. When they get to base, Zakuya report to Seto, while Subaru asks Boji to teleport the bandit to the jail.

After reporting to Seto, Zakuya head back to his place, since he doesn’t know how to use teleportation scroll, he head back to the house he was renting, flying.
