Izuki's Claymore

The chapter starts as Izuki, Kura, and Boji, arrived at the base.

“You guys, can go, and do what you guy want to do, I’ll make a report of this to lead on my own.” Kura said.

“Thank you.” Izuki responds.

Boji nods, and then he goes to his room, with a tired expression.

Izuki head to the cafeteria, to eat, and when he goes there, he sees Itsuki eating by herself. Izuki approach Itsuki, and he asks.

“Hey, Itsuki-san.”

“Hmm?” Itsuki respond, while there’s food in her mouth.

“Is Subaru back?” Izuki asks.

Itsuki shake her head, and then she gulped the food in her mouth, and then she said— “No, if he arrived, Nino will immediately tell me about it.”

After that, Itsuki continue to eat.

“Is that so.” Izuki said.

Then someone opened the door.

“Oh, Izuki-kun welcome back.” Simch said, as he enters the room.

“Simch-Senpai…” Izuki said.

“How’s the mission?” Simch asks, as he walks towards them.

“It was good, we beat all the bandits that attack the village.” Izuki said, while he was looking at Simch who was still walking.

“That’s good, anyway Itsuki-chan is Levi-kun here?” Simch asks as he walks to the counter.

Itsuki nods while she was eating.

“Is that so, thank you.” Simch said in happy tone. “Izuki, come here, let’s eat.” Simch said as he gets in the counter.

Izuki went to the counter too, and he was looking at Simch.

“Hey Levi give me some food.” Simch said.

“Come down! Simch! We just come back from a mission! I’m still preparing food! So just wait!” Mavis yells, while she was cooking.

“Is that so, then I’ll wait.” Simch said, with happy tone.

“Anyway, Simch-Senpai is there any news about Zakuya’s mission?” Izuki said.

“Oh, Zakuya’s mission?” Simch said, as he leans back to the counter. “I hear from lead, that there are still no sign or sighting of the abnormality in that school. Even if the notice were just a lie, we can’t tell Zakuya-kun to go back here, since he was asks to train two girls.” Simch said as he looks up, and sighed.

“Heh? Zakuya was?” Izuki asks.

“Yeah, apparently. When Zakuya-kun was on a mission, and he stumbled into an old man, and that old man was the grandfather of the two girls, and since Zakuya-kun save him, he asks Zakuya-kun to teach them.” Simch respond.

“But he’s just a newbie? Like the rest of us.” Izuki asks.

“Yeah, he was. But the old man directly talks to Lead himself.” Simch respond.

“Is that so.”

“If it was lead’s want, then we can’t do anything about it. Anyway, why did you ask?” Simch looking up, and then he moves his head on left side, after asking Izuki.

“Ah, Ganyu-san asks me, but I don’t know what to tell her, that’s why I ask you.” Izuki said.

“Hmm? Why does Ganyu-chan have—”

“Yes, she has. Keep your mouth shut.” Mavis said, as she put the plate beside Simch, who was still leaning back to the counter.

“She has?! But an Idol wasn’t supposed to be like that, right?” Simch said, as he faces Mavis.

“That’s why, I’m telling you to shut up, only me, Amber, you, Yuno, Koharu, Kazuya, and Izuki knows about this, so don’t tell anyone about this okay?” Mavis said, as she looks at Simch with a killer look.

“I will not, come on.” Simch said, as he lifts his hand, while his eyes are close. “But why don’t she confess to him, I mean she’s an Idol, I’m sure, Zakuya-kun want to go with an Idol, right?” Simch said while looking at Mavis.

“That’s the quick answer, but—” While Izuki was talking, Mavis interrupt him.

“Irumi-kun reject Amber-chan.” Mavis said, while looking at Simch.

“He what?!” Simch said, with shocked tone, and expression.

“Yeah, you hear her, right, Simch-senpai. I heard from Kazuya, that Zakuya reject Ganyu-san.”

“But?! WHY?!” Simch said, with shocked face, and tone.

“We don’t know, why. But Amber-chan said she will not be going to give up.” Mavis said.

Izuki moves his head to the left side, and he saw over his shoulder Itsuki, who was still eating.

“Anyway, enough of that, here eat.” Mavis said, as she points the plate, in the counter. “Isogai-kun you too.”

Izuki nods, and then he asks— “One last question, Simch-senpai.”

Simch look at Izuki, and he responds— “okay, what it is?”

“Did Takamiya-san arrive at her homeland safely?” Izuki asks, while holding a plate.

“Ohhh, Takamiya-chan, huh.” Simch look up, and then he looks at Izuki, and respond— “If I remember, she got home safely, right Levi-chan?”

“No, she didn’t.” Mavis responds.

“Huh? Really?” Simch said.

Mavis sighed, and then she talks— “Isogai-kun, Eichi didn’t go home, because Lead recruit her.” Mavis said, while looking at Simch.

“Is that so.” Izuki said after hearing what Mavis said. “Thank you Levi-senpai.”

After that Both Izuki, and Simch starts to eat. Later, when Itsuki finished eating Subaru, Kazuya, Katsu, and Yuno arrived.

“Oh, guys, welcome back, how’s the mission?” Simch said, while he was holding a spoon.

“It was great.” Kazuya said.

“Is that so, come on guys eat, I know you guys were exhaust from that mission.” Simch said.

After that They sit down, and then ice golem come out, and give them the food.

“Anyway, where’s Miku-san?” Simch asks while holding a spoon.

“I’m here.” Miku said as she enters the room. “Do you need something from me?” Miku ask with tired tone.

“Ah nothing.” Simch respond, as he looks at his plate.

After that they continue to eat, and then later Subaru arrived, and him and Izuki went outside.

“Let’s go.” Subaru said as he throws the scroll in front of them.

After that, both of them get teleported away. After that, they went to Gauge shop.

“Here.” Gauge said, as he gives Izuki the claymore, that were wrap in clothe.

Izuki takes it, and he removed the cloth covering it, and he sees that the blade of the claymore, has the color light blue.

“Gauge-san thank you for fixing this.” Subaru said, as he pays him the money.

Izuki holds the claymore, and right after he holds the claymore, he feels an incredible magic flowing inside of him.

“Gauge-san thank you for fixing my claymore, I’ll be able to use my other magic.” Izuki said, then Subaru gave him a thing where he can put his claymore in.

Izuki takes the thing, and he put in his back tie it, and then he places his claymore into it.

“Thanks.” Izuki said.

“Thanks again Gauge-san.” Subaru said, while he was looking at Gauge.

After that, they went back to the base.

“So, you're saying, that both of you will fight in order to test Izuki’s claymore?” Kazuya asks.

“Yeah, since I sense that Izuki grows stronger, after getting his new weapon.” Subaru responds.

“Is that so, then.” Kazuya said, while Yuno, Itsuki, Koharu, Mavis, and Simch were watching.

“Izuki, let’s fight like our life depends on it.” Subaru said, while looking at Izuki.

“Huh? Why though?” Izuki said, with concern expression.

“To test our strength, of course.” Subaru said, while smiling.

“Okay…” After that, Izuki gets his claymore from his back, and he gets in his fighting stance, while holding his claymore with his both hands.

“Okay. Linear Edge!” Subaru said, and then his yellow sword come out, and then he gets in his fighting stance.

“3, 2, 1, Begin!” Kazuya yell.

After hearing begin, Izuki, and Subaru run towards each other. When both of them are about to meet, Izuki raise his claymore, and he swings it down, while Subaru use lightning to dash, and then he swings his sword from his left hip upwards using only his right arm, the two weapon clash into each other.

“Not bad, Izuki.” Subaru said after stopping Izuki’s claymore.

“What?” Mavis said, after seeing Subaru stop Izuki’s claymore.

“He stops Izuki’s claymore with only one hand? And he wasn’t even shaking.” Simch said, with shocked in his face.

After talking to Izuki, Subaru kick Izuki, in the stomach making Izuki fly away, as Subaru kick Izuki in the stomach, he smiles, and then dash and follow Izuki, using his lightning magic.

While Izuki was in midair, he cast a spell.

“Blade Magic: Thousand blade.” After casting the spell, a 10 blade come out of Izuki, and it attacks Subaru, Subaru forget that since Izuki had a claymore to use, he can finally use his other magic.

The blade fired at Subaru, Subaru was shocked, and he tries to deflect all the blade, but he was hit in the body by three times, but he was able to deflect the other 7 blades, after that Izuki, and he stands up, while his right hand is holding the claymore, and his left arm is touching his stomach.

“(Ouch, that Kick from Subaru was strong as hell.)” Izuki said, in his mind, while watching 7 of his 10 blades, come to his side and, surround him.

After deflecting the blade of Izuki, Subaru look at Izuki, and he didn’t remove the blade that we’re piercing him.

“What is Subaru doing? Why wasn’t he removing the blade in his body?” Kazuya said, while the other is watching, and thinking too.

“Whooa! Nice strat by Subaru-kun, he didn’t remove the blade, so that Izuki couldn’t use it anymore.” Simch said.

“You think so?” Mavis said, while looking at Simch.

“(Simch-senpai is right, Izuki can’t use the 3 blades. He can’t control his magic. Because if he can, he will immediately pull it out, right after he stands up.)” Kazuya said in his mind.

After that, Subaru smile, and then he gets on his fighting stance, and then he touches the ground with his left hand— Lightning magic: Lightning Field.”
