“I’m worried about Enora, Elio.”, Leonora said, her voice tinged with concern. “She has been through so much lately, and now this… what if something happened to her? What if the humans get to her?”

Elio sighed softly, swirling the liquid in his glass and his brow furrowing in thought. “I know Leonora. But what can we do? There is no denying the mate bond, you know that.”, he replied, his voice filled with frustration.

“Elio, I think we must tell Enora what she is.”, Leonora stated firmly, even though she was unsure. The topic had been weighing heavily on her mind for some time now. Elio shook his head determinedly.

“You know we cannot do that! The Oracle forbade us to do so!”, he said decisively, and took a sip from his drink.

“So what is the Oracle going to do if we do it anyway?”, Leonora said. She wanted to defy orders to make her daughter feel good again. It pained her to see Enora doubting herself.

Elio looked up in surprise to his wife. “You know that it might screw up the prophecy.”, he said in minor shock. Leonora took his hands into hers.

“We don’t even know for sure that the prophecy is about Enora.”, Leonora exclaimed in frustration. “It said ‘old enemies must unite’. I mean, Enora was brought up so far outside of these communities, what enemies could she possibly encounter? “

Moonlit Legacy

The morning dawned bright and clear, casting a warm glow over the pack territory as Sebastian, Enora, Adam, and Lucas went about their daily routines. Despite the events of the previous day, life went on as normal, and they were determined to carry on with their duties and responsibilities. 


Joining Adam and Lucas yesterday when they visited the family of the wolf that was killed in the ambush, as well as the families of the injured, had made a big impression on Enora. The idea that there were wolves risking their lives for the community, but that the community had nothing in place to help them seemed completely wrong to her. 


“Lucas?”, Enora asked, when she entered his office space, her face serious. Lucas looked up at her. “Is there something in place for the families of the injured and fallen?”, Enora asked. Lucas shook his head, and almost looked ashamed.
