The days passed in a blur of activity as Enora continued her search for a doctor or a nurse that was willing to return to the pack. Despite her tireless efforts, she found herself hitting one dead end after another, the task proving more challenging than she had anticipated. With each rejection, her frustration grew, and she began to doubt whether she would ever succeed in finding someone willing to take on the responsibility.
This morning was the last morning that she was even going to try, Enora had made a deal with herself. Her desk was covered by papers, and she was struggling to find the order in the chaos at this point. She was already rubbing her temples wearily, feeling the weight of the task bearing down on her shoulders. A task she had assigned to herself. Enora couldn’t blame anyone else.
“I’m never going to find someone willing to come back.”, she muttered to herself, her voice tinged with frustration. “This is hopeless.”
